Nice video I see we fish the same waters.
@RLester331 thank you that's very possible👍
@@archerjay1 Fairport
@@RLester331 yup that's the same waters for sure
Nice instructional video. I have a couple small yellow planer boards I picked up at a garage sale somewhere that have never seen the water. Not sure how to use them. This helps. What does the sliding weight do to them? How far out are you fishing? Lake Erie can turn nasty on a dime. Lastly, using a 30ft Jet diver....how far back is your harness? Thanks.
@billfresh3776 yeah I have a couple yellow boards that I started with, needless to say I spent more time turning around to retrieve them because they come off easily. That's why I switched to the walleye board. The sliding keel weight on the bottom of the boards are to balance the board so it runs level and true in the water. Too much weight forward and the nose dives too deep, and likewise too much rear keel weight lifts the nose too high and they don't cut the water how they should and in turn won't get out to the side of the boat. When I use jet divers I am letting out 100' of line before I put the board on and typically I run another 100 out after putting my board on the line. Yeah Erie does get choppy fast because it is the shallowest of the great lakes. Lastly when I rig up my jet divers I use 30" of line behind the diver, and I make my harnesses with the same amount of line that gives me a 5' leader from the jet to the blade on my harness. Hope this helps and feel free to reply with any more questions you have. Tight lines and good luck👊
Nice mate
@Reeldinghylife thank you!!🎣 just subscribed to you brother!!👊
Nice job dude. Repeatable, consistent process.
@@admihelich1 thank you! Hope you found d something that will help get some more eyes in the boat!👊
Very nice video
Thank you! Hope you found it useful 👍
Very nice walleyes is you in Michigan Waters
Thanks!👊No it's Lake Erie near Clevland o Ohio
In 20 feet I want to get to about 17. If I let out 80 on the jet 20 will that work? This off planer board's.
I would start with 60' of line out then work your way out from there. The depending factors on depth adjustment will depend on current, speed, and type of line used. I use braid which has less drag on the line and in turn helps me to get a little deeper, but makes it a little more challenging to get shallower. If you are using mono it will be somewhat easier to get a little shallower.Jets are depth specific but you can adjust the length of line out to go shallower or deeper. Hope this helps, and let me know how it works for you.👍
Nice! ❤
Thank you. Hope it helps you get some eyes👍
lol you know how many largemouth I have caught on the first cast on that exact pole they love sitting up against that pole. Last year I pulled 2 nice 13 inch crappies while standing on the dock to your left
Yeah I've gotten some big largemouth out if there as well as crappie. It's a good spot👍
Nice bro!
Thanks brother!!
Great fishing trip and a few nice ones landed too, tight lines and greetings from NZ,, Tony.
Hey Tony! Thanks brother! Hope y'all are well there in NZ
Love the old school slip bobber presentation! These guys are the real deal, got on their target , stayed on them and put a bunch of fish in the boat. Thanks guys!
Thank you! Trust me when I say it was our pleasure 👍 tight lines my friend!
Nice catch. Which lake is this.? Looking for a good bluegill lake.
Thank you. It's a local lake we fish. Not trying to broadcast the exact spot. I'm sure you understand👍

Very informative Jase!
Thanks brother! It was a pretty cool experience
Interesting method playing with your reel like that
Yeah it's a little technique I use just to keep the line mended...and give it a slow retrieve. I do the same thing when I'm steelhead fishing on the lake
Good video. I was wondering if those coils were the right ones for my similar outboard. Now I see how the rubber comes off, and how to install them. Thanks.
Thank you!! Yeah they aren't very descriptive when you're purchasing them.. especially if you're getting them online. Glad the video helped and hopefully your motor runs like a top now,👍

What brand rod holders on the boat?
I use Scotty power lock..I have a link in the description with the exact model I'm using.
Tru Trip jet diver trips like a dipsy diver.
They sure do! I just don't have any of the Tru Trips, but I have used them, and they are on my list of "things needed but not right now" 😆
Do you use a bobber
I do...I'm using a 5g Raven float. My floats are different sizes depending on the water I'm fishing, but that day it was a 5g
Couple of nice ones. Great job
Thank you!! Yeah it was a decent day..lost quite a few after switching to beads, so hopefully the next time I make it out will be even better.
Those were some good looking Steelies man!
Thank you!! They were awful fun to catch as well!! More on the way!
Hope you are well. I know you have a nice RUclips channel. Your channel content is very good. A couple nice Steelhead! Cool vid man 👍

This looks amazing!!!
Thank you! It's one of those rarely used parts of the deer, so I hope this helps others to utilize it more often.
Where are you buying your tungsten blanks and your hooks? Disinformation would be great to know.
The links should be in the description for the materials used
Great tutorial....makes a fine jig. Very durable as well. Thanks for sharing.

Where do you buy these tungsten beads?
I left the link in the description for all the materials needed
I am obsessed with the cooking videos. Please make more
I sure will!!! Lots more to come!!!
Just a little tip, when cooking white onions are better but if you are eating them raw then purple/red are the way to go
Gotcha!!! I only had whites at the time but I prefer purple/reds 👍
Thank you I will try that next time I have the organ meat from a moose or caribou
That sounds like a good plan! Never had moose or caribou anything. Hopefully one day. 👍

What was the height of your knock from the bow square? 1/8 in. up ?
On the bow square are measurements and depending on draw length the knock will be anywhere from 1/8" to even 3/8". I have a 28" draw length so mine is slightly higher than someone with a draw length of 26"-27" the longer your draw length the higher the knock point. Hope this helps some.
I just subscribed to your channel
