- It's hard to believe that this Schwarzkopf coaster is exactly the same as Knightmare at Camelot Theme Park in England was. Don't you just love the way it interacts with the Vilda Musen and Twister coasters?
Gröna Lund is located in Stockholm, Sweden.

My heart goes out to the People on the rollercoaster today, it’s horrible what happened to the people who fell off the cart💔
Given the coaster has been in operation since 1988 I doubt the engineer Werner Stengel who designed it is responsible.
The design is likely sound and neglected maintenance is probably to blame. What is concerning is fact it's a steel coaster, so often the most predictable of materials least prone to catastrophic failure.
😔🙏🏻❤️
Thats bad Part of train fly off rail s 😢
@@simplexicated one witness said it looked like the front wheels "bended" just before the carriage derailed. yeah it would be really strange if the track design would break, it looks super solid and simple..
@@simplexicated Do not agree there, it should surely be those who inspect the roller coaster who should be blamed for not being sufficiently accurate. Also even so Jetline had made strange noises before.
They got really creative at that park to pack as many rides in a little space as possible.

Yep there are about 27 diferent totaly unice rides here at gröna lund

We’ll also be getting a B&M invert next year, although I’m not sure but I think it will be a custom layout.
GO SWEDEN
Today 25.6.2023 this ride's cart fell off tracks.
My brother was on it that day but luckily not on the one that went off track.
1 dead. 2 badly injured.
I'll follow the news.

I LOVE IT! And the wind-sound-effects make it even cooler!
It's not just sound effects, it's real :)
As a former employee at Gröna Lund I am not surprised it happened. When I was with the company, a summer many years ago, they kept saying safety first. But it was quite obvious for anyone that it was profit above all. And in case anything happened then they played it down or pinned in to some kid employee of which there was an abundance. They were not interested in incidents nor were they systematically reported to improve safety. Nice park. Unfortunately greedy company. At least back then
I can't help put think that the track looks like it is upside down.

it's actually the government trying to trick your brain to spend money on corndogs. The track looking upside down drives you crazy right? That's their whole plan.
I wish Schwarzkopf was still around. Imagine what they could do with today's technology. What an amazing company.
It’s not build by Schwarzkopf!

Rest in Peace🕊️
Accident with one dead just happened today, so sad for the people involved and the park!!!
The accident is the reason why I came to see what kind of ride this is. Can't have gone off tracks at the highest and fastest points cos I can't see anyone surviving that...
It was at the highest, 30 meters up
@@tantrakickiit was at the second drop
Yeah imagine if it went off tracks on the first drop it would've been a different story
It’s very sad that a woman died on this rollercoaster😢
it happened at 1:12
I think its really cool how this coaster interacts with the the scenery and other features of the park. really nice coaster
3 days ago some people fell off and 1 died
1:11 Accident happened at that spot rip
Insane speed no wonder people got hurt and died :(
I love how this is built like how my RTC coasters are- they got to function and look good in a small space! love it
What a great ride. One of several great non-looping steel coasters from the late 80s like the Lisebergbanan, Bavarian Mountain Railroad and the Bandit. Those 1987-1988 rides brought back some of the glory of the 1970s Intamin/Schrarzkopf rides like the Mind Bender (SFOG), Revolution (SFMM) and the Zambezi Zinger (Worlds of Fun).
You know what happent?
Ni kommer från nyheterna ? 😮
Japp, fy fan. Hoppas att ingen har skadats allvarligt.
@@Ozzy4201there was one death
Aa
one fool told me once chain lift hills have to be straight, they can't be curved
Gideon Kramer They rarely are curved. The coaster that was being discussed between you two probably would not have been able to use a curved lift.
Fyre 2031 you seem like the type of person who watches Tom and Jerry and says “their body shouldn’t be able to do that!“
I hope the people are alright on that ride after the incident
One person died 😢
@@AlexAlex-gb5foThats sad i was there one week ago and if Jetline isnt there anymore gröna lund is going to feel empty respect to all people WHO was in this accident 😢😢
@@hobbychannel1206you do realize it could have been you? It’s comepley random that this woman had to die. Why do you want to risk the same faith? I hope they take the roller coaster away, it took someone’s life.
@@Molinfelx yeah all respect to all people WHO was in this accident but Jetline was gröna Lund first ride so its sad that the woman die sorry
@@Molinfelxyou can't think that it is the rollercoasters fault after what 25 years?
Watching this video after the accident where a person died. It scares me that stuff like this can happen. R.i.p.
At around 1:10 on 25th June 2023, the train partially derailed and people where thrown out of their seats. 9 were injured and one died.
My sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the rider who was killed on this ride.
Fun coaster, not much in regards to airtime but those two drops are nuts in such a small space and the g forces are pretty tough. Gröna Lund is a credit to what you can fit into a small footprint and the coaster designers they have worked with.
3 days ago some people fell off and 1 died
@@Hearts_for_horsesx Very sad to hear so.
This didn't age well
I rode this today. It did not make me uncomfortable in any way. If i had the slightest idea of what was to come or if i felt uncomfortable and unsafe on the ride, i would not ride it again. But i used to always ride jetline multiple times because it was a comfortable ride and i felt safe, what happened is shocking. It is just so unbelievable because i never even felt just slightly uncomfortable. I never would have guessed. But a saw a man sitting on the tracks or a pole (Can't really remember) but it did not register that a serious accident had occurred, i don't know what i thought at that point. I never saw any injured people. I never saw any blood. The man sitting on the tracks or a pole was all i really saw, i don't remember hearing anything either
Totally gutted for the one that fell victim today of an accident on this coaster. I still dont fear roller coasters however my deepest condolences go to the relatives of the victim💔
RIP and speedy recovery for those injured!
Rest in piece to Jetline, Gröna Lund and the woman who died when a carriage carrying 14 people derailed.
Yes I've heard 😢
Yep RIP to both. this was my favourite rollercoaster back in the days, now they will probably take it down.. Its a shame they didnt take the problems with the rollercoaster seriously, it had some issues with it when Gröna Lund opened this year...
@@anthonyeriksson7537What issues are you talking about? Sorry in advance, I'm not very familiar with this roller coaster..
@@rolox1343 Mainly that the wagons stopped in the middle of the ride several times this year. Gröna Lund said that they were sorry and understood it could be a freightening
experience for some, but that atleast this showed that the safetybrakes was functioning properly. Some people have complained that the ride felt unusually shaky and didnt feel safe but that might be regular nagging, idk. I felt nothing out of order when I was on the ride during the Thursday. I hope they are able to fix the safety of the ride since it is iconic to many, including myself.

RIP to one who died 💔
Rip to the person lost in the accident 🕊️
edit: died*
Not Lost but died*
I thought I recognised the track style/layout as being the same as the one at Camelot! Glad the description confirmed my suspicion.
Accident here today, 1 person died. 😥
Rest in peace🕊
The ride has a unique curved lift hill design and I love how the trains sound.
Just came from a weekend trip in Stockholm and I was thinking about riding this one😳 Glad I didnt.
RIP👏
I rode that one today once
It did not ring alarm bells and i always felt safe riding it. I would always imagine an accident happening on Insane because there was an accident in Denmark involving a coaster similar to Insane. I never once felt uncomfortable riding jetline, i always thought it was safe. I don't think i can ever see jetline the same way after this and unless substantial changes are made, i'll never go on it again.
@@Unbreakable245 glad your okay! Yes I dont think I could ride it ever again unfortunately...
@@O-townplaya i don't know. It needs refurbishment at the very least. I have heard that it had not been renovated for over 20 years and THAT is a problem. They should also make regular inspections of every ride. If i owned or had a company that owned an amusement park, i'd make sure the rides were inspected regularly and renovated after a certain time even
Yeahhh, was supposed to ride this today! Glad I didn't
@@Unbreakable245 I rode it last year, and it felt a bit shakey compared to other rides on Gröna Lund, but hard to compare since they are not the same
If you pause at 1:11, you'll be standing exactly where the train stopped and a woman fell to her death.
EDIT: RIP Jetline 1988-2023, and RIP to the poor woman who lost her life because of negligence. They should close the whole fucking park and sell it to new owners.
Actually she fell out before the train stopped, and then another one fell out before the train came to a halt (after somone also jumped to safety)

Where are the anti-rollbacks located on the lift hill? I can't see them... ;)
Has anyone got an answer for this yet as i’m very curious

Those poor people. Rip 😢
I'd wanna see a night POV of this
Looks like an absolute gem of a coaster.

Rip to the people affected yesterday
The Jetline at Gröna Lund is without the modified first drop the same coaster model (Schwarchkopf) as the now rusting Knightmare at the now abandoned Camelot theme park :(

Tragic what happened on this. Also isn't this knightmare clone at Camelot over here in the uk
Absolutely love this coaster. Nothing crazy or special about it, for all intents and purposes it's an incredibly basic coaster. But man is it a pleasant ride!! Just so smooth and comforatable, it's impossible not to love it.

The engineering of these three roller coasters is really amazing.

Is that track upside-down?
How fast is this?
The day when the crash happened, me and my dad were going to a zoo that’s really close to gröna Lund. The bus had to stop so we walked the rest of the way and we saw a bunch of people with gröna Lund bracelets walking from gröna Lund. Even if we didn’t witness the crash or even were in the park, it was pretty scary. I wish good luck to everyone who was there
When i rode this My neck were all over the place when It was going down do you guys have Any tips?
The first time i rode it*
If you ride It multiple Times its sooooo fun
Noice The Jetski Rust The ride isn’t fun if your head is going all over the place, so I suggest you lean back and hold the black thing in front of you. (Idk what’s it called) but it makes a better experience.
bts Thanks for the tips. That was like 3 years ago. I have ridden this countless times. My favourite ride there. And your tips was very helpful thank you.
By my head going all over the place i meant the first time i rode it. One year later my friends told me exactly What you told me and it was great.
Thank you
Noice The Jetski Rust you’re welcome :)
I just read that this ride suffered a catastrophic malfunction today killing one rider and leaving several others in critical condition. Sad.
Went there a few weeks ago, wish I could meet you guys :3
Tråkiga nyheter om denna idag :(
Nice little coaster
Will you go / have you ever been to Linnanmäki @ Finland?
Someone just died on this ride. RIP.
Rip the person that died today by this rollercoaster🫶🕊
Looking at the photos in the report and reading the description of the events, this is what happened:
the front beam holding the front wheels broke at 1:06 (just after the photo section), and the train started scraping along the track. the right wheel together with the right part of the now broken front beam holding it fell off at the beginning of that third height (1:07), and at the end of the height, the whole construction shook (1:09) and the first passenger, place to the left side in car 5 fell off. In the downhill bend (1:10) the left wheel also fell off and two more people, seated in car 7, the last one, fell off. It then stopped at 1:12 and rolled slightly backwards. The ride was badly damaged, the middle car (4) was bent and the person sitting there was stuck and badly injured, and the safety bars that was suppose to hold passengers got bent and could not hold the persons inside. The only undamaged safety bars where the ones where nooone was sitting.
The person in car five, the first one to fall out, died from the injuries.
Today, they decided to take this coaster down.
From now on. Jetline is no more.
Looks great
10 years ago in 2013 I used to go Jetline many times at the summer in 2013, 10 years later someone dies at jetline. I didn't see that one coming.
Also I bumped my head in 2013 at the summer on jetline since I tried to stand up for the camera and I regret it.
Jag var där men nu när jag tänker på det.. Om man sträcker ut armen, vad händer då? tycker att det borde vara mer säkerhet då det är lätt av reaktion att man gör det och slår man i med den hastigheten kan du bryta den eller att den går ur led

Who’s here after the accident?
Nobody. They closed the park for now.
An accident happened today on this ride..
have filmed insane?
I’m sad when the crash happened
Why the heck are there 3 mid course break runs
Yeah what's the purple and white coaster in the back?
It is called insane and is a zacspin coaster by intamin
Lucky you guys can film.. Never got permission from Valleyfair and I would break my phone so yeah can't film ); But when are they getting a new coaster?
I think it's so funny how Robb from TPR claims without a doubt that you guys never get permission to film your videos, yet now all of your new on-rides are even mounted. Heh, I'd like to see someone successfully mount a camera on the front of a coaster train without permission...
At what second exactly did they fell out?? Omg. I've been in this. Never again
Fatal accident happened on this coaster today. One of the carts derailed wounding several people, one confirmed dead.
That's a cool little ride lol
