I took my monster from Shenzhen to Kashgar. 4 days of sleepers with an afternoon buzzing around Xi’an. Bullet trains back from Turpan to Beijing via Lanzhou and an mtb route to Liujiaxia (scary low battery in the mountains!). I gave up on the mtb routes in Xiang Shan as they were too tough for me. Then a bullet sleeper back to Shenzhen. The nice thing about China is that this is even possible. Just needs time!
I will protect my expensive EUC with the uncrackable 1-2-3-4 code! That's how we roll... :)
My favorite part: the night city ride!

Hey Roger! Yes there is. The İstanbul - Shanghai route is as follows: Istanbul (Turkey) - Bucharest (Romania) - Chisinau (Moldova) - Moscow (Russia) - Beijing (China) - Shanghai (China).

yeah, trains are no problem. high speed trains is what we used afterwards.

The journeys not over! This is just part 1 of chengdu... and theres chongqing and shenzhen coming up. And taking the wheel is wonderful. I dont like to travel without it.

no official rental stores, but the community is tight. you shouldnt have a problem getting someone to lend you one. Come to beijing and ill hook you up.
Kuji Rolls is there an online group I can join to chat with the Chinese riders like we do with the telegram EUC collective?? Love to know more about what its like there. Btw I am planning a trip but since my yearly Asia trip is during Chinese New Years, not sure if I can afford the extra expensive tickets to china around that time!!

There were only 2 on a cabin, but for cheaper tickets you end up being 6 on each cabin. 3 level bunk beds on each side.
Those are soft sleeper compartments with 4 berths. If you don’t want to sit on the lower berth in the day time, there are flip down seats in the aisles. There are charging ports there too which are the only charging places on some sleepers.
I want a veteran sherman or an S18 so bad, but I dont have money for one and I’m so sadddd....
Looked like a fun trip aside from the interaction with guards and ticket counter. My older brother would have been all about that train ride.
Seriously, euc is nothing more then a mini moped...what is so illegal about it???
