- This is a special vlog! As I have mentioned in my very first video, I have been planning to do a car reviews for ages, so that day just came. An electric car - Hyundai Ioniq 5, car in which you can live.

Just drove our CR-V through parts of hurricane Ida. I put down a deposit on the Ioniq 5 and was thinking that if we already had the car, if need be, we could have stopped at a campsite, plugged in, put the seats back and camped in it until it was safe to drive again. Can't wait to get mine! Good job on your first review!
This car is insanely good for camping. All the space and features. It has also one of the best lighting inside the car. So you have enough light at night that you can easily read a book and not destroy your eyesight 😁 And thank you so much for sharing your story and thank you for your comment! 🙌🏼😊

I'm from America and looking for a car like this. Mainly for camping, and putting all my fishing and crabbing gears too. I currently have a 2017 Kia Soul which I really love. But it only offers me about 100 miles per charge. I sleep in the Kia really often on fishing trips. The Ioniq 5 will give me a better resting option. Plus I can put my electric scooter or future e bike in there. I'm a simple person and this car looks really great. I'm actually going shopping tomorrow for the Ioniq 5. Probably going with the 300 plus miles. Less power then high model but I rather have the range. Thank you for your video. It's simple, straight to the point. After seeing you coming out of the trunk and having all your books, and shelves...I'm hooked! Crabbing season is on November 5th. I'm taking this bad boy for a trip of a lifetime. I have thought about exactly that. To sleep in the car using the ac outlet for power - It is always nice to have a cheap alternative when my girlfriend is too annoying or she just kicks me out for a “break” 😆. Yes, this car, Hyundai Ioniq 5 is amazing. Spacious and electric, all you need for comfortable living. Of course, in warm climate it would be even more perfect.

There is no greater thing like knowing that on any road trip or journey you can just stop at any time and anywhere and spend a night in a back of your car comfortably! 🙌🏼 Loving it! Amazing that you can fit in a Mitsubishi Colt! 🚗😊 What can I say, the best car is the one where you are able to sleep in 😄

You can get an electric stove and run it off the HV battery of the Ioniq.

Did this car have the tech pack? I know each country has a different specification list within Ultimate/Premium/SE Connect (well those exist in UK anyway)
In Norway you can choose only Premium or Premium with 20 inch wheels.

why not also sleep in an apartment or get a hotel room when traveling? Indoor plumbing is a nice feature.
😄 to have comfort is nice, but to experience something different is way more interesting, like sleeping in the car. You can stop anywhere you want and have a beautiful view when you wake up in the morning 😁

I assume one can take electric stove and oven too for fun and comfortable camping 👍
Definitely, for example, you can use 1200W toaster for 61h straight, until battery runs out empty. So you can make 3660 slices of toasted bread 😁 Or watch 32 inch LED TV for 60 days 😄 Awesome, right???

As you have to set up a camper when you stop in a camping spot, same here. Obviously you have to put everything from driving mode into parking/camping mode. 1000 km road trip and no single damaged item from all of what I have in a back :)
