    As desperate as we are to hold on to Marilyn, something about this feels wrong. She was an intensely private person who probably reluctantly had to come to terms with the fact that she belonged to world but some things should remain private and handled with the utmost care. Seeing them run through her things without gloves and care feels so intrusive and disrespectful to her. I was born more than 30 years after her death, never knew her of course yet I feel this intense protection over her. I truly hope sweet Norma Jean is at peace and happy, it's the very least that Angel deserves

      Probably accidental drug over dose. That has happened to many celebrities, mixing drugs that should never be mixed at all. Some cough medications shouldn't be mixed with other drugs.

    It's sweet that Marilyn lived humbly in a modest bungalow & left items of very little intrinsic value. Liz Taylor etc had diamonds & gems but Marilyn's jewellery was usually costume. I believe she had one valuable, real pearl choker by 'Mikimoto' that she was gifted by Di Maggio on their honeymoon in Japan, & she gave that away!
    She had a magical beauty and charisma - priceless gems would be wasted on her really, because she sparkled far brighter!

    The circumstances as to how these file cabinets came to be, were hoaky at best. Were signatures ever verified? I think she'd have better taste, and security, to choose something nicer than 2 ugly filing cabinets. As for jewelry, if there's no photo with her wearing it, then that's peculiar. I could agree w/the prank theory.

    • @daisydippy9793
      @daisydippy9793 7 лет назад +11

      StarQualityWins they were filing cabinets they weren't supposed to be pretty I'm sure Frank sinatra (I could be wrong) gave them to her because she just left all her personal papers everywhere and he told her to get them secured probably cause he knew the sorts of papers she had maybe Kennedy letters that could be used as blackmail!

    • @Missditabomb
      @Missditabomb 7 лет назад +4

      Yes, if you can't prove that Marilyn wore the jewels or clothes, they are essentially worthless.

    • @lindashelley3635
      @lindashelley3635 5 лет назад

      StarQualityWins I don’t understand why she didn’t store these items in a bank safety deposit box for safe keeping. That way, only those who had a key could ever access them after her death and there would be some verification of their authenticity.
