Yes and most of what they are saying here is not true. I spacing surgery isn’t even a thing except an extreme facial deformity. you can’t just move your skull around like that 🤣
It’s amazing how fooled some people can be by make up and facial expressions. It’s obvious that all she had was a minor nose job and probably a chin implant to bring her chin out a few millimeters. Actual surgeons have looked at pictures of her.

Beyond her lovely face, she loved others... My neighbor worked at 20th Century Fox back in the day and told me stories. The one that stood out was one day she was really sick and when Marilyn showed up to sign in took one look at her and was very concerned, ran out and bought her soup. The other stars just signed in and ignored her as they always did. She was truly one special lady!

You can't quantify Marilyn's unique beauty with numbers and angles: she was more attractive than the sum of her individual features would indicate. There are many beautiful women but MM had that indefineable quality that is easily recognised but never replicated. I've seen so many biographical movies or documentaries and, even though they had a million actresses to choose to cast and with makeup, wardrobe and prosthetics and other tricks I've never seen one that comes anywhere close to MM's magnetism. That's why she's still mesmerising 60+ years after her death.❤️

They watch us the way we watch tv. They are still interested in their loved ones while they continue their lives at Home. We don't float around on clouds flying to and fro at the whim of every person who says our name.
They just look and see who's mentioning them. They can pop down very easily just like they can go wherever they choose.

Marilyn was more beautiful than any other woman back then or even now. In my opinion, she looked even better after small corrections. However, she had the combination of a childlike , yet beautiful, and sweet face, a soft voice, a sexy way of moving, and a cloud around her making her look somehow extremely feminine. Like a well-shaken cocktail. So many other women back in the way and after her death may have a beautiful face or figure, but no one has this unspeakable combination of a sexy grown-up woman and a slightly scared childlike innocence, - all in one person. She died too soon. This way she never looked old.

Someone mentioned Kate Moss as more attractive to men than Marilyn Monroe. Plump women often come across as "soft," because they lack angularity. Recent fashion news commented on how tight the waist was on Kim Kardashian. Combined with her hippo backside, that extremely small waist gave her some curves, like AI botox. Kim was seeking to "fool the eye"' with her curves. At her height, that rump is as curvy as a bag of bocci balls ? Were you fooled? I wasn't. I've seen Macy's blimps up close.

Blonde hair aside, Marilyn’s role in Ladies of the Chorus is probably closest to her natural “Norma Jean” state by way of appearance and mannerisms prior to becoming the polished and perfected icon that the world has come to idolize.
As Norma Jean, her looks were approachable and charming.
    Pretty, but not necessarily “beautiful”.
Not by Hollywood studio standards of that period and most certainly not as a cinematic “bombshell” in the seductive movie star goddess kind of way.
Her natural beauty could only take her so far so she had to perfect it and also had to hyper sexualize and over exaggerate her femininity to an almost drag-like level. Something of which most female entertainers who are viewed as sex icons do or have done. Yet when it came to facial attractiveness, Marilyn’s make up artist knew what to do to enhance her looks, but she was still beautiful, even without make up, and even without surgical perfection .

I agree with everything you wrote, apart maybe for the Mae West comment.
I see Mae West as a rather vulgar woman, almost caricatured in her attempt to appear steamingly hot and sexy. Perhaps a little intimidating to some in her frivolity.
She was clearly the preditor, more than the man.
I see Monroe, radiating a much more innocent and sweet sensuality that would appeal to men in a quite different way. She was the pray and the desired one, not the predator.

Blepharoplasty became more common and surgeons became more skilled. I had very puffy hooded eyes and people always told me that I looked tired even when I wasn’t. I worked as a nurse for a group of plastic surgeons and at age 21 had an upper lid blepharoplasty. Acquaintances would tell me that I looked so rested afterwards when they didn’t realize that I had surgery. 40 years later, I never regretted the surgery. A simple blepharoplasty does not raise your eyebrows and the eyes might droop if too much tissue is removed from the lower lids. Looking at her younger pictures, she probably had similar comments that she was tired simply because of her eyelids. She was a photogenic woman who played to the camera which made her beautiful.

When I read Norman Mailer’s Marilyn biography I learned of her lowering her smile due to having a high lipped grin that exposed her upper gums when smiling. I too had that and subsequently learned to lower mine. I also learned from it how she could “turn it on” when needed and I became conscious of how I moved and how to “turn it on” and draw attention through posture, poise, walk, and expression. It was both entertaining and empowering. It was also beneficial in many ways. One of them being a brief modeling career. It’s a power to possess. Yet not at all as magical or memorable as Marilyn’s. People might view these movements and body language as being natural, but it’s all very calculated and deliberate. It’s more of a skill than anything.

As someone with hooded eyelids, Your eye makeup just completely disappears and it’s hard for makeup artists to achieve a nice look. I have thought about getting surgery for this many times.

She definitely looked different from her younger photos. From girl next door pretty she became a stunning starlet. I wonder how many actresses her time went for surgery. It must have been more risky back then. The doctor who gave her the enhanced face was a genius.

She dyed her hair white blonde, she had a nose job, she had her teeth done, she wore blue eye contacts, she had dozens of makeup tricks, she intentionally changed her looks, her posture and her mental attitude ... but that body - and that walk - was all hers.

In other word, it's all about symmetry. We had all been preprogrammed to prefer symmetry, whether that's a human face or anything else.

With her ethereal beauty and mesmerizing presence, Marilyn Monroe embodied the essence of Hollywood glamour. Her legacy is as lasting as the stars themselves. You can't find a single photo where her beauty is "more or less"... she is always beautiful, exuberant, radiant and sexy! A star that will shine in our sky forever.

An incredibly lovely looking woman. One of the saddest of childhoods. Without make-up her youth shines through the Hollywood blonde, beautiful skin, inner glow, pensive beach shots.
Beauty obviously does not bring happiness.

I think her plastic surgery actually made her more beautiful which is rare in my opinion. Usually it just makes people look worse and it's obvious they had work done. You couldn't tell with Marilyn. She was beautiful before surgery too. Interesting video. I think she should have been a veterinarian, not a movie star.

@@ZahyrBeautyas a straight female, she is so sexy and her personality enhanced her sexiness overall. She is just so attractive in terms of personality, aura, personality area, and mainly Norma Jean…
I love Norma…and I wish people would just leave her alone and her legacy. They would not leave her alone even in her death. She still receives harassment, slander, and backlash for no reason.
Like why won’t they leave her alone and remember her legacy she has done for pop culture and the world…❤️😩
