- Episode 7: The South trail at Ardbeg.
In this episode, I try to run one of the most popular and beloved trails in Ontario. Known to be a challenging trail; full of water crossing, rock climbs, sand, gravel, beaches, and bogs. It is a lot of fun, but it will test your nerves and patience. It is a long journey, swerving back and forth along a hydro line, littered with great campsites and look outs a long the way.
One of the best Ardbeg videos
Nice job
Keep the videos coming!!!
Thanks! 🙏🙏 Appreciate you watching.
Great shots on this trip! Love it 😍 looks like a fun filled adventure for sure 💯💯💯💯💯💯

Got a sub from me! Excellent content and sick rig #goonsquad
Were in Ontario was this??
Nice video, we may try the south trail this weekend, done the north one twice to the train tracks
Oh nice. How is the north trail?
Looking into getting a 4Runner… this looks fun and scary! But mostly fun!
I can tell you right now you definitely wont regret it. Its a very capable machine
Because of this video I finally went to Ardbeg. It was a rainy day but super fun. Next time take an ATV with me and explore the south trail first.
For sure. Lots of fun. Glad you enjoyed the video
I love Ardbeg.
You should get a winch. :)
Lol. Yes. Definitely. Im getting one put in this season.
Amazing video! do you think a regular car would have enough ground clearance to get to the first camp spot?
I do not unfortunately. There are spots that were edited out, so Id have to say its much better to use an suv or truck.
@@pro_rnr thanks for your help!
I’ll try with my 4x4 van that I imported from Siberia, it is called UAZ Bukhanka.

I think you will be fine with the Bread Loaf.

This year with my Tacoma.
I have a 2inch lifted FJ with a winch I installed this winter, if you want to try this trail out, let me know. The only trail I've done was last year on Pencil lake.. with the stock FJ.

Sounds good. We can do it together. My Taco have a winch too with a 2 inch lift.
We can make contact and try it.
Wow. Pretty intense. I wanna go in my 4R but I’ve got no winch. I should really think about getting one… that or a buddy. Lol

@@kennegunis it a public trail?
@0091dude Pencil lake? I'm not sure.. I went with a OF4WD, newbie run
@@kennegun oh awesome! Just out of curiosity, how does OF4WD works? Newbie here
@0091dude check out their website
Love all your videos, hope to hit some of these trails next year. How long did the south trail take to run??
Thanks. I always appreciate you watching. It took a long time and I was pushing it at a good pace. I believe I arrived at around 11:30-12pm and I was exiting the trail-end by 6:30-7pmish. So a solid 6 hrs for sure. Mind you, I am filming, etc. Great trail though. Highly recommend. I'd just break it up with camping next time.
@PRO_RNR LOL My friend and I left the frying pan and hatchet there. We hoped someone might find it useful in case they got stuck overnight. Nice video! What day was it shot?
Thats hilarious! I believe early September.
@@pro_rnr We just went yesterday and started from the bottom up. Between Wolf and Dogfish lakes was challenging. It was extremely muddy in a couple of sections.
Bring a battery operated chainsaw, a must for trail riding.
Dewalt make a 12 inch blade battery one.
I know. I have to get one. Especially for the early season.
Is this the trail to Gull Lake?
Not sure about Gull Lake. But its Ardbeg south trail which starts at Black Lake and heads South.
@@pro_rnr sounds good thanks!
Your content is fantastic!Do you accept sponsor products?
Of course. Im open to it.
@@pro_rnr Great! How can we send you more details about this issue?
Can a stock tacoma do this trail?
@@alejandrovelasco2239 I mean…that one swampy water crossing was pretty deep. I have 33” and a lift and its was close. Just saying…
