We flew Antigua to Gatwick and it was as described, though the food on this leg was way better than the return leg in the video, the salmon was top notch!

I flew Orlando to Gatwick last October on British Airways and had a wonderful experience and coach. But seeing your wonderful video and business class Makes me want to pay the increase price to experience that luxury on a nine hour flight. Thank you for your video.
@@gary795 glad you had a good experience! And definitely business class on a long haul flight is a gamechanger since its so comfortable and you can sleep…although I didn’t want to sleep as then I felt I wasn’t fully getting my moneys worth 😂

I have flown business class before the pandemic but after the pandemic prices went up a lot so i fly premium economy and it is still very expensive! Nice video

I did BA first class the other day. It was awesome and next level to business class, especially the concord lounge... also not a plane sleeper and I still feel that I was unable to get more than a few hours sleep.

Did you have to climb over someone else's legs to get out of your seat? When you did have a choice of meal, did they run out of choices? Do they serve from the front or back of business class? Thanks!
Hi! So no you don't need to climb over people's legs as the aisle window seats are like two seats opposite each other. If your in the middle aisle it's still easy to get out! Choices of meal were made on the plane. They give you a menu with a few different options to choose from! They never ran out of choices but our experience back to the UK was different with less choice which was a shame! They serve from the front of business class I believe. A top tip that I learnt is that the most desirable business class seats are right at the front 👍🏽hope that helps!

I'm trying to plan a Business Class International flight from UK to New Zealand to see my Daughter &Granddaughter this year (2024) I'm looking at different airlines and comparing the perks basically. I have travelled Economy long haul flight before (UK to San Francisco)...it was so cramped, I vowed never again on a long haul flight!
I have bad legs and can't walk far so need extra leg room and to be able to raise them up. I have one major problem...I suffer with claustrophobia and I had a panic attack on the flight back from San Francisco, it was frightening, I haven't flown since. Do all Business Class Cabins have the same size?, it looked quite small, a bit like a cupboard. Are you allowed to sit in the longe part or do you have to stay In your cabin?
I'm getting a dry mouth and faster heartbeat just texting this and thinking about it lol.

Hi! Thanks for the congratulations and for subscribing, the support is appreciated! Sorry to hear about your flight anxiety and your panic attacks. Yep economy on a long haul flight is not the most comfortable! I’ve flow business with BA once but have walked through a few BA planes and size wise they seem quite similar. You’ll have your seat like in the video and then it turns to a bed. I was told the front seats have more space so if you have flight anxiety be sure to let BA know when you book! It might be worth looking at premium economy too…I flew premium economy with American Airlines (but BA flight) and its more spacious with wider seats than economy so worth checking out! Hope that helps!

pretty standard experience on any carrier that the food kitchens out of Mexico lag way behind in terms of quality being put onboard- unsure why.

Thanks! So we went to Cancun. I've done a few videos on the hotels we stayed at so that might be helpful! This flight was from Gatwick. Hope that helps
I notice you had the centre seats coming back. How were they for getting out? Do you need to annoy the person in the aisle to get out to the toilet etc? We are heading off to Antigua soon and this was the only seats available for us but at least we are sitting together
Hi Dave! Yep central seats on the way back and nope it was fine getting out from what I can remember, but our cabin wasn't very busy. Tbh it's more important to sit together...makes it more fun!

The lip balm in BA business class bathroom bag is the best lip balm ever , smells so good and really moisturising. I have reached out to the white company about buying a larger size version , but they make it only for BA , it’s so annoying !,, I have to just collect them when I fly and try not overuse them

Hi! So basically Club Aspire was the Business Lounge when I travelled. There was no separate lounge...well not at Gatwick Airport anyway 👍🏽

Baggage allowance of British Airways are awesome... however there's a scope for bit of improvement in seats features... especially buisness class for Boeing category aircrafts
Yep it was great the amount of baggage allowance they give...way more than needed! I couldn't agree more with the seat features and general quality of the cabin!
Why is the business class for this British Airways flight is so different than the one the points guys made for the British Airways A350 business class a few years ago? Particularly the beds. Was this a Boeing 787 rather than an Airbus?
Hi! It just depends on the plane. This was a 777 so likely an older plane so there's differences between planes. The return flight was even older than the departing plane so the infotainment system wasn't as good 😑
Did you not have to climb over a stranger's legs to get to the aisle? Only downside to BA business class. Last time we flew to Cancun we sat at the back in the middle. Poor guy opposite me had my food and drink served over him too. Very awkward! By the way great video 👍

Lol so we had window seats on the way there so no climbing duties and on the way back we had middle seats but there wasn't many people in the cabin (due to Mexico becoming a red site so most people had returned to the UK)! Omg poor guy...that must've been so awkward! I hope you both got more food 😂

Yep, I get scared of the toilet flush too. I usually wash my hands then put my fingers in my ears and flus it using my elbow and wash my elbow at the end.

We flew business DFW to Heathrow on A380. No blanket, & the only place to put anything was that drawer at foot level, no flat space for glasses, phone, etc. disappointing! I was not impressed with the food. I wanted real food, not exotic chef dishes that tasted weird to me. IMO the pkg snacks available during the night were better than the meals.
That's a shame! I quite liked the food I guess compared to other flights I've been on, but I agree with you, other business classes are a level up for sure!

Never flown BA business class as of yet but will be on this upcoming trip. I have flown other airline business class however. Looking forward to seeing what BA offer on the 787. Thanks for the reply.

Worst business class seat configuration on their BA A380
There's definitely better business class seats!
Do they still charge business class passengers for seat selection? and do they charge economy passengers for luggage in the hold? Not convinced. BA was the worlds favourite Airline when it was BRITISH. Today its owned buy a conglomerate who still use the BA logos and Livery. According to SKYTRAX passenger ratings, BA is not even in the top ten. I do not fly BA
Hey thanks for the comment 👍🏽Yep they still charge for seat allocation or its free if you wait until closer to the checkin but then your ideal seat might be gone! Not sure about charging for economy passengers actually 🤔. LOL I've seen other business/first class cabins and they are crazy compared to BA!

Really really poor storage - worse than you get in premium. No room for anything and all really hard to get hold of.

I have been fortunate to fly Business Class with several different airlines - and BA is by far the worst - not just one bad flight either, consistently bad. In flight experience is very poor, totally disinterested cabin crew (apologies to the good ones, I just seem to have missed them!!). Piece of advice - absolutely do not sit at the back - by the time they get to you many meal options are "sorry sir, none left". On one flight there was no starter; meat and fish options in main menu none left so a bowl of pasta; no desserts left so asked for fruit thinking I might get a fruit cocktail, sadly not, I was handed a banana (still in the skin). After the attempt at a meal was finished did not see cabin crew for five hours when they served the next poor food. Entertainment system did not work. Personally, I avoid BA wherever possible and only fly with them when I have no choice (have even changed arrangements to avoid BA). Other experiences with BA very poor - company culture is awful, is all about them and no appreciation of looking after the customer.

To be honest, as you probably saw in the 2nd part of the video, the return flight was a different story and nowhere near as luxurious! I found the cabin crew to be friendly and I was fortunate enough to be at the front of the plane. I can't believe there was no food for you and you were given a banana! I hope you complained! If you've seen some of my other videos about the whole quarantine experience, the customer service was not the best when it came to my cancelled flights whilst in Mexico! I hope I will be lucky enough to try out business class with other airlines in the future like you!
When you are travelling in business class the stuff in the lounge is not free. You have already paid for it via your more expensive ticket. This video is so misleading.
Hi in the video I actually say its free specifically for business class passengers (which it is since there is no additional cost). I then explain its otherwise £30 for 2 hours for economy class etc. Hope that clears things up...not trying to be misleading 😂
This business class product is old and tired, compared to Qatar/Emirates etc
I agree having seen reviews/videos of other business classes! I've seen similar people with the same opinion in the comments!
