I think there can be a hundred people against him and still will have no chance. Joey just has the right answer for every stupid argument. There is no argument for producing and eating meat! And the farmers and everybody else know that!
Of course.... unless the facts are challenging years of bad habits they refuse to give up because they're gullible enough to believe in misinformation such as 'CaNiNe TeEth' and 'We NeEd MeAt To SuRViVe' which has surfaced for hundreds of years; debunked by everyone in the vegan community yet they still believe the bs they see on Tv lol it's laughable how quickly they suddenly have an opinion when they are forced to question their morale's
@@itroll5643 Vegans acknowledge we are omnivores, meaning we can eat meat or plants. But, with studies proving we can live our life eating completely vegan, meaning we don't have to raise animals for slaughter, why should we continue to kill them?
@@itroll5643 It isn’t good for you though. It is a big contributor to the first two leading causes of death! Heart disease and cancer! It is also a big contributor to diabetes, antibiotic resistances, and other ailments.. But I’m sure you know that, seeing as what your name is.
"I find that really offensive. The word rapis to use for inseminating a cow I feel like is wrong." "So you think being called a rapist is immoral but the act of sticking your Hand inside of a cow without their consent isnt immoral?" powerful one
For the same reason a doctor performs a colonoscopy or a gynecologist performs a wellness check. Vets use that technique because it is fast accurate and effective. I have been raised around large animals my whole life, and I know several vets. And they all do it that way because ultrasounds are not always the easiest to take with you on farm calls. A vet's hands are their eyes, and they see all sorts of issues with their hands that theirs eyes could never see. Xrays for large animals generally only exist at universities. So in order to diagnose or pregnancy check they go through the rectum.
i find that the meat industry try and find the most quite and "family friendly" farmers they can to try and manipulate the message that vegans are trying to put out there. Farmers acting all lovey and kind and friendly and trying to potray the aggressive vegan as overreacting. This women trying to talk about terminology like it maters PAHA. Good Outreach Joey
Agreed, also I feel like every farmers on these shows always go for " I used to be vegan a while back so I understand your side " even though they don't understand the first thing about being vegan, it's just a way to appear compassionate and open minded
Agree! Its all carefully picked and set up! And the moderator with his canine question... man man man... a lot of people have a big ego and just think they know it all, they would never admit that they were wrong! If you really love animals and still eat meat, if somebody comes up to you and starts telling you about the slaughterhouses and all the other horrible stuff that is done to the animals, you will go and do the research immediatley!! And not just say, but my canine, my canine! I wish somebody came to me and told me about this, i would been shocked and start to look in to it! Luckily i found out by my self that something must be wrong, then i did the research! Since that day i stopped eating meat, a year later i found out more, since then im vegan! that easy...
STREET COFFEE 🇫🇷 yes it seems like thats true! On the tv interview with earthling ed it was exactly the same, there was a woman and she started with " i was a vegan first but then.... " coincidance? haha...
The terminology rejection, if you ever get any power, will be the petard that you are hoisted upon; if it is the act and not the perpetrator that you object to, you will have to treat animals that rape or murder the same as humans. The liberation of animals you work for will be undone by your own rules.
Caroline ASMR if they thought critical, you people would be calling them troll. I know people do me when I try to question, criticize or just bring up a argument to make them see there is more then what you say. As for my view, I’m mostly vegetarian plant based.
@@GreenSoldierProductions why are people like you so dumb? We should not eat meat because it is not for us.. Every disease like cancer, heart attack comes from it. Otherwise dont compare yourself with bear, bear is an omnivorous and we are herbivorous..
Animals kill other animals. We are animals. We kill Animals (against their will! Lol). Humans can't digest cellulose=not herbivores. If you are not an herbivore, you are at least an omnivore, by nature. So therefore it is perfectly natural to kill animals (yeah, against their will..😂)

I immediately thought that! Why two farmers but only one vegan? Glad to see that still no match =]]
Holly and Phil, the hosts, were impartial. So that leaves a farmer and his wife which is two, but if they could find a vegan man that had attracted a woman to him then they would let her come as well.

hahah that was so funny Daniel! But wait, are you implying that a couple must be composed by a man and a woman? That's a bit retrograde thinking if that's the case... Also Holly and Phil would be impartial if they asked the same kind of "difficult questions" they asked Joey to the farmers also and not just "What do you have to say?", but hey, every ones entitled to their opinion =] Facts though, aren't subject to interpretation.
Committed meatheads will say anything that pops into their tiny minds when they are confronted with the truth but don't want to listen. Check out the interview Joey does with Piers Morgan, who exhibits the same traits. There's no point continuing a conversation with committed meatheads, they're a waste of breath and a lost cause.

@ginsengaddict But you’re a delusional weirdo who tells yourself that you’re better than others because of your diet. Reframing food as abuse is lame and you should grow up. This isn’t good enough. YOU are not good enough.
@ginsengaddict No. you’re just framing things that way. I’m morally consistent too. I just don’t fetishize my diet. Please grow up. You’re not doing a good job at life. You’ve become a miserable person who acts superior due to diet. You are failing at being human. You’re a failure.
Amazing Joey, love how you stayed on message, the farmers had literally no argument except 'please don't hurt our feelings with words we don't like'. Boom
Michael not humans tho, definitions I selected tho, painful death in the wild, history tho, evolution tho, lions tho, there’s always gonna be death. Sounds like a noob debating. The thing is, the better one becomes at debating veganism the crazier their position gets or they’ll become vegan anyways. :D
Appeal to nature Appeal to tradition Appeal to popularity "Canines tho" Appeal to historical necessity "Animals eat other animals" "That's offensive" Argument to moderation I don't even want to know how many brain cells I've lost.
Oxygen, well it obviously stemmed from mankind's predatory hunting days and once we started eating more meat and as a result increased our intelligence, the penny dropped that it's much better to breed and domesticate animals than to chase after them in the wild. So actually the industrialisation of meat and dairy, stemmed precisely from nature and our intelligence due to eating meat.
Humans are omnivores we eat plants and meat. We as human beings get to choose what to eat best choice possible is a balanced diet u can be a vegan if u want but don't force me to eat vegan

Joey is gifted in public speaking, his courage in activism inspires us all and lately his warmth, humour and empathy wins our hearts even more..for the animals x
Rape, murder and slavery, all what these farmers are doing to the animals, stuff the terminology, it is what it is, these farmers are only upset because they are being called out. So proud of you Joey, you did really well in this debate and got lots of good points across ✌️
Joey did a fantastic job avoiding that trap. He used the term "forcefully impregnated" rather than "rape." He used "lowered into gas chambers and having their throats slit" instead of "murder." That's what vegan activists have to do to avoid their stupid word games.
Fair point, Brenda. But now by that logic we are going to arrest animals that kill and sentence them to prison terms. What is your solution to the problem when an animal capable of murder, theft (monkeys) or rape cannot enter a plea of guilt or innocence? How does the criminal case proceed? And how do animals pay fines for their crimes?
Daniel Hobgen animals also commit cannibalism Because animals do that does that give me the right to eat another human being Animals also kill their children when they are runts Could I kill my child and tell the judge that animals kill their babies can’t I No you can’t because it’s an unfair comparison Humans have sense of morality (right and wrong) It’s what’s special about human beings That is why we have to practice to be morally right Think about it Many Murderers kill animals before they start killing people why? Because they learned to torture and kill human beings because they practiced on animals first. If we learnt to respect animals we can learn to respect each other more. We can’t use the actions of an animal that doesn’t have sense of right and wrong as an excuse to do wrong.
I am against giving animals the right to murder but not be murdered. That would mean that if I were surfing and a shark started on me, I would have to question throwing punches in case I killed it. Also, if I had an AK-47 while on safari and a lion approached aggressively I would have to consider spraying multiple rounds in case I killed it. Veganism, if predominant, will lead humans down a very dark road.
Daniel Hobgen 🤦🏻♂️ that’s a different situation you would be punching the shark or shooting the lion out of self defence for your own survival that’s understandable but that is different from murder which is killing for pleasure alone. Listen man if you need to punch a shark in the face to survive go ahead But I bet like most meat eaters you eat it for taste You kill animals for pleasure alone You don’t need meat to be healthy therefore its unnecessary If it’s unnecessary than you are not doing it for survival like the situations that you described A lion doesn’t understand murder a lion eats meat because it needs to It’s a carnivore Now don’t go get eaten by any sharks or lions or anything ok jeez
Yes, but please don't hurt their feelings while they're advocating for animal cruelty Joey. Imagine a world where it was "frowned upon" to criticise immoral acts and speak up for victims....Oh, hold a minute....
Okay but do you object to people driving cars, like you appear to object to taking the lives of animals for food? Cars kill millions of insects, as they splatter on windscreens, they run over all manner of fluffy mammals. If you don't drive a car, do you ever travel by any other means other than walking? Do you get in cars with other people or ride on buses? People drive cars for convenience, it's not essential, it's a choice. Or do insects and small fluffy mammals (I'll include hedgehogs even though they are spikey too), not deserve the same respect you hold for Farm animals. Also road kill is generally not eaten by humans, whereas farm animals are. Is it the consumption of them you don't like, or the killing. Would it be okay to eat animals that died naturally?
Footsoldier AY’s response was long form entertainment, highly recommend watching it. Notice they never answered the question about what they do to cows when their milk production drops...
Absolutely smashed it. The presenters and dairy farmers looked uncomfortable because they know that consuming animals and their body fluids can't be defended as it's immoral. Well done, Joey.
I am so grateful for activists like you Joey. I'm not sure I would be able to keep such a level head in a debate like this. There is so much ignorance but you did so well!!! Thank you for doing what you do 😊👌
4 sharp teeth does not make one a carnivore, also, our intestines also do not match a carnivore. If anyones bothered about animals killing animals, then thats nature, thats part of THEIR food chain, most humans cant spend 5 minutes out in the cold..
You showed the people watching that you were far better at giving the truth than the two sitting there giving out the definitions of words that you used to describe the disgusting practices of dairy and animal exploitation. Thank you. #VeganLove 💚
So, if that female farmer doesn’t like the word “murder”, she must prefer: “slaughter”. Does that make the killing acceptable? Vegans also receive insulting comments and threats. We won’t agree with farmers on this but we can all be civilized about it. Vegans must not stoop to the same level as carnists and their suppliers and must be voices of reason, hope and compassion - even for those who are complicit; they haven’t made the obvious connections yet. I can understand the frustration and passion on the vegan side, and farmers and slaughterers are probably shocked at the surge against their industry because the public can now see through the “happy farm” lies. A story about calf triplets is a story about three more animals being born into a frightening industry that can never start or end well for them and their parents. All for nothing [but] profit and entertainment. [edit]
Yeah... those beautiful baby triplets are only going to be abused their entire lives... but those Animal Nazi's don't care. Absolutely disgusting and evil.
Do you know why we dont have fangs and claws? Because we grew bigger brains and used tools and a superior intelligence. Hor jaws and teeth do not need to hold on to animals that is why we dont have large canines. To say otherwise is vegan propaganda bullshit like a lot of vegan myths it is easily disproved
Teen Camera, firstly I am a beef farmer myself so I think I would know. When they enter the slaughterhouse everything is very clean, they are then stunned in the head and feel no pain. Then as the are unconscious with no pain and there throth on their neck is slit. They are then brought down and butchered. The animal would have never felt pain or have been stressed.
Teen Camera obviously you nothing about agriculture. Firstly every dairy farmer I know has there cows get pregnant by there bull naturally, every farmer in my country has there cows and heifers gotten in calf naturally by sex from a bull. Secondly, calves are not taken away from there mother immediately, the calf must stay with the mother for many days, during the calves milk time there mother is brought back to feed the calf. After some weeks calves are let outside into the fields with other calves and the farmer can choose to have the mother with them in the field and with suckler farming calves are with there mother’s for all there lives.
Respect for getting onto this kind of platform. My only request would be to change your response on these two common points: 'We have canines' - perhaps mention that our canines aren't actually suitable for tearing raw meat off bones, nor our nails for disembowelling prey. The teeth we do have are just about up to the task of biting into raw fruit and vegetables. Maybe bring into the argument the comparison between canines in primates and those in genuine carnivores. 'Animals kill each other in the wild' - a stronger answer might mention the fact that 'the wild' is a self-balancing ecosystem where predator and prey exist to the extent that they can support each other. On the contrary, animal farming is an entirely artificial practice of creation and death, conducted according to our own particular set of predetermined beliefs and, importantly, often at odds with and to the detriment of the natural environment. Peace.
Great points Alex, I've heard Joey mention those before too in street interviews so he knows all the facts. For being surrounded by attackers & having to think & get points out really fast he did amazing job

Exactly, Philip is uneducated to say that. Our teeth are in no way designed to eat raw meat. The biggest and strongest animals on.the planet are herbivores! So backward 🍀
Scouse Pagan 98% of the population eats meat because humans are stupid. Look at the things we've done over the years. Also why is it that in the U.S and U.K 1 in every 3 adults are overweight or obese. WE ARE STUPID.
The old canine excuse, there are a lot of herbivores in the wild that also have canines, u seen a Silverback Gorilla or a Hippo, those things have huge canines.
Hippos aren’t considered true omnivores, The stomach anatomy of a hippo is not suited to carnivory, and any meat-eating is likely caused by aberrant behaviour or nutritional stress
4:50 - "Animals kill animals though" - Appeal to nature fallacy - because it happens in nature it must be right (these kinds of arguments made up a large proportion of the show, but hopefully one example will suffice). 5:17 "we have billions of people in this world, and everyone has to be fed" Non-sequitur (i.e. it does not follow) - just because there are billions of people, and they need to be fed, it doesn't follow that they have to be fed animal products. (Especially since the production of animal products is far less efficient than the production of plant foods). 5:26 "all of those animals very often eat actually another animal in far worse way" - lesser evil fallacy - because the way we kill animals in a slaughterhouse is (purportedly) relatively less traumatic than the way other animals kill each other, killing animals in a slaughterhouse is inherently right. (This fallacy is a form of the either-or fallacy since it ignores the possibility of simply not killing animals at all...) 7:12 - "What about those long-standing farming communities" - Appeal to tradition fallacy - just because something's been this way for a long time, it must be right. Remember, this is not four fallacies, but four KINDS of fallacies - almost every sentence that came out of the mouths of the farmers and presenters could fit into one of the above categories.
1) Animals kill animals is not a fallacy it's a fact, this wasn't said by the farmers it was said by Holly and before she finished her point Joey interrupted her, so we don't know where she was going with that. 2) 5:17.. he said you have to look at how people have evolved and he said people eat meat and veg, this is a fact too. The question wasn't can people survive not eating meat, he was talking about the situation now and how we have evolved. Not a fallacy. 3) 5:26 This is not a fallacy again animals do eat other animals, fact. You confirm the point he's making by acknowledging that the abattoir kills animals in a less traumatic way. So not a fallacy. And yes if you are killing animals for food, it's better to do this as painlessly as possible. So again no fallacies here. You are not doing very well are you? He doesn't ignore the not killing animals at all because he's accepting reality that we do for food and have done for a very long time. 4) 7:12 This isn't a fallacy because he's asking a question, not making a point. The only person making fallacies is yourself Veganism unspun. In fact your ironically putting a spin on what are clear facts.
Thanks Holly for your uneducated questions and then for saying "it's it's not my point". Well yes it was, you brought it up. Joey baby, you out smarted and out class all four of them. Well done sir.
she makes god knows who much money being a spokesperson for garnier hair colour that tests on animals so that's how much she gives a crap about animals 😷
Such delusion on behalf of the farmers, I'd love to get into a purely logical based discussion surrounding their livelihood, they wouldn't have a hope in hell at defending the industry. And you gotta love our media too, read so many articles painting people like you as violent militants and the farmers as the poor poor victims in all of this. No thought at all in any of these articles as to who the real victims are in this industry. Keep going Joey if it seems like you're being ridiculed, this is just the natural part of the 3 stages of truth.
well if you're talking about their livelihood it'll probably be a discussion of economics. My semi-educated guess (Animal Husbandry student) would be that it's already in place for a lot of farmers since many already grow plants on the side as is. All it would take is some lessons in growing for human consumption and some fallback money/incentives for deconstructing/destroying their stables (we can take the subsidiaries and re-purpose them for that for example). Very few farmers actually "need" to farm animals so expect some of the worst argumentation from those who still choose to do so because chances are it actually is because of family tradition or something pathetic like that.
It never fails to amaze me how people refer to these cranky old arguments to defend the horror that animals have to endure. We're all conditioned from birth to believe this nonsense but the second you see beyond it there's no going back. #VeganForLife #VeganForLives
Human canine teeth have not developed to eat meat. Most mammals have canine teeth, no matter what they eat. The largest canines on Earth belong to the completely herbivorous hippopotamus. Our canines and overall mouth structure in no way resemble that of true carnivores or omnivores.
agreed, the teeth are meaningless. The number of stomachs & lack of hind gut processor that can obtain calories from cellulose is a different story though
Zsic Kristina For real. I think this clip of Schofield pointing to his teeth will come back to haunt him as long as we're going where Simon Amstell says we are ;)
Lilac Lizard are you suggested humans were made to eat meat because we’re not ruminants? Plenty of non-ruminant herbivorous animals. Humans are closer to frugivores anyway

because she isn't intellectually capable of answering if it's immoral to take an animal's life she had to try and confuse everyone by talking about terminology and sidestepping the questionand focus on wording instead of addressing the act itself like Joey kept asking multiple times is the act of taking an animal's life who doesn't want to die moral
wrong murder is only applicable to humans and species like ants and bees i suppose. animals kill each other for personal gain always have and always will this is for food from their bodies food that that animal has stored the other animals possessions to bolster its own gain . the difference between us and them is the concepts we have come up with like jobs and law and all that. and also alot in part because animals dont like seeing thier own kind die.(generally) but as i said about possessions and shit like land and materials we kill each other to gain control and make it better for ourselves and those allied with us. also the insemination is better i know of alot of cows that have had hips or legs broken from the weight of bulls trying to impregnate them .

It's so frustrating that they spent so much time caring about the terminology as opposed to defending their practices - some would say that's because they can't defend their actions... Also I used to think Phillip Schofield was alright but bringing up the canines???? Really????? So ridiculous
It's funny how the hosts kept giving their opinions but when you asked them if they agreed that it's not humane that it's savagery they were both stuttering and all of sudden it's not about their opinions anymore

that is the worst argument i have ever heard, a lion needs to hunt in the wild to survive, lol how does it compare to us killing innocent animals? we don't need it to survive.
A vegan diet is much healthier than an omnivore diet and the not found nutrient is only B12.. And B12 comes original not from the animals, it comes from microorganism on evry plant on the ground. B12 is mostly supplemented to the animals with enriched food. And btw: You kill more plants with a meat based diet.. the livestock eats a lot of plants, have you researched that? So this isn't a real argument at all, even when the plants feel much more pain than animals (whats impossible, they have no brain and its unlogic at all.. they cant run away, so its not necessary to feel pain..) is a plant based diet more painless. And it is not possible to kill an animal humane when it have an intrest in living.. The act of killing is cruel. I can not kill you humane, I can't kill a dog humane, it's simply not possible. People who eat no meat or don't drink the mothers milk of the cow aren't less strong, thats simply wrong.. I feel even better with a balanced plant based diet.. but yeah read your industrie funded articles and studies. And NO I don't try to convince you to a vegan diet, I just correct your wrong comment. (Sorry for my english, I live in Switzerland)
You dont must put mankind on the same level of the animals, it is enough when you understand, that living emotional beings have the right to live there life without being exploited and killed for no reason. (And no, egoistic reasons like the tast dont count..) And yes meat contains high levels of nutrients but in most cases it exist plant based grocery who contains more nutrients than any of these animal products. As example spinach for calcium and legumes for iron. And vitamin A? Really? Carrots, Spinach, kale, sweet potatoes, all this products contains more Vitamin A as any animal product.. And cholesterol? Our body produces his own cholesterol, we don't need this from food anyway.. It is even bad when you eat to much cholesterin. So it is easily possible to live healthy withoud animal products.. And I don't eat more then befor. Animal agriculture is the leading cause of rainforest deforestation, water use, animal extinction, ocean dead zones, overfishing, climate change and other catastrophes.. so do you really think thats harmless for the nature? When we dont need so much land for the livestock, we can recreat old forrest. Yes some land would be unused but then the nature can come back, when we need much less farming land. And nobody knows how these people eats as a vegan. It is obvious that when you eat vegan shit, thats not healthy.. Chips and cola are vegan but not healthy as an example. And NO, animals are not here FOR us, they are here with us. We don't have the right to own another living being. When you respect nature then let the animals for themself, when not then at least don't try to spread out lies. And interesting article. But they still don't feel pain. And even when, I try to live as painless to others as I can, so vegan is the best option.
SHAOLINSINZ everything you've said is so terribly ignorant. Its utterly impressive that someone can be this far gone from factual science. look at what happens when you consume animal proteins and saturated fats. the human body is not designed like that of a meat eater. and you know, what exactly makes humans better than animals? horrible things happening to the earth and nature are primarily caused by humanity but thats another argument. There are countless studies from actual licensed nutritionists that disprove your pseudoscience claims. a whole foods plant based diet is suitable for all stages of life. eat a fucking sweet potato if you're worried about vitamin A
This is amazing, it's heartbreaking that there are humans who at this moment in time don't have the mental capacity to come to terms with the truth of it all, too selfishly concerned about their taste buds and how they may suffer if they don't unnecessarily eat a murdered animal, or drink raped cows milk ect ect. Never stop talking and spreading love Joey, you are truly amazing.
You did great Joey! Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby really embarrassed themselves by giving the textbook moronic fallacies. Farmers call it a rape-rack for a reason and these two farmers are trying to play the victim lol.
Again, Holly and Phil aren't giving their personal views, they're acting as moderators/facilitators of the debate and part of that is putting arguments to people to get them to respond.
Wow, that was intense. There seemed to be some serious barriers in this conversation, too many to address in the time slot you had. People are so misinformed about the dietary evolution of human beings. We are natural herbivores- fruits, nuts, seeds, leaves. Maybe an accidental worm or bug every once in a while. Just because our bodies tolerate steak doesn't mean we evolved to eat it or that it's healthy for us. My cat loves olives, but that doesn't make him an herbivore. Side note- sad to hear that the woman grew up vegan and isn't anymore. I wonder where she lost her way.
Well done Joey. You got across a core message about the immorality of exploiting animals. I know how hard it is to stay focused on a core message when the emotions of the debate kick in. You were amazing. Thanks for your wonderful example of advocacy.

@@joshstarksbane828 you make a great point, if it cannot give consent, why would you do it to it in the first place?
For the same reason a doctor performs a colonoscopy or a gynecologist performs a wellness check. Vets use that technique because it is fast accurate and effective. I have been raised around large animals my whole life, and I know several vets. And they all do it that way because ultrasounds are not always the easiest to take with you on farm calls. The industrialisation of meat and dairy has nothing to do with nature and animals in the wild.
How dumb does someone has to be to compare themselves, a civilized human being, to a lion.

Daniel Hobgen animals also commit cannibalism
Because animals do that does that give me the right to eat another human being
Animals also kill their children when they are runts
Could I kill my child and tell the judge that animals kill their babies can’t I
No you can’t because it’s an unfair comparison
Humans have sense of morality (right and wrong)
It’s what’s special about human beings
That is why we have to practice to be morally right
Think about it
Many Murderers kill animals before they start killing people why?
Daniel Hobgen 🤦🏻♂️
that’s a different situation you would be punching the shark or shooting the lion out of self defence for your own survival that’s understandable but that is different from murder which is killing for pleasure alone.
Listen man if you need to punch a shark in the face to survive go ahead
But I bet like most meat eaters you eat it for taste
You kill animals for pleasure alone
You don’t need meat to be healthy therefore its unnecessary
If it’s unnecessary than you are not doing it for survival like the situations that you described
A lion doesn’t understand murder a lion eats meat because it needs to
It’s a carnivore
Now don’t go get eaten by any sharks or lions or anything ok jeez
“She was a vegan so abusing animals is okay” is basically what that guy said

What's the immoral act? Do you drive a car?
David Williamson - Taking a life that does not need to be taken. No I don't drive a car, I have no need.

Joey’s facts are incorrect
Teen camera they don’t get abused everyday either they are let out in the fields with fresh grass and clean water.
Respect for getting onto this kind of platform. My only request would be to change your response on these two common points:
'We have canines' - perhaps mention that our canines aren't actually suitable for tearing raw meat off bones, nor our nails for disembowelling prey.

Good on you Joey, you're so good at spreading the message.
Joey, you're a legend, don't know how your head didn't explode with so many fallacies coming at you from every direction. Massive respect.
Name one fallacy in the interview that came from any direction.
(This fallacy is a form of the either-or fallacy since it ignores the possibility of simply not killing animals at all...)
7:12 - "What about those long-standing farming communities" - Appeal to tradition fallacy - just because something's been this way for a long time, it must be right.
You don't understand what a logical fallacy is. I suggest you read about them, too busy to explain it to you.
Veganism Unspun but you have time to post ill informed garbage. You are a deluded sheep
"I'm offended "
semantic games ensue....
it really does take a lot of patience to break though years of learning
Calling him a rapist is retarded
Thanks Holly for your uneducated questions and then for saying "it's it's not my point". Well yes it was, you brought it up. Joey baby, you out smarted and out class all four of them. Well done sir.
Preps ss So true! "I'm a neutral party here - but wait let me just throw up a counter point real quick"
That bloody holly is so annoying lol she soon shutup though!
Absolutely. She showed she has no class as an interviewer.
she makes god knows who much money being a spokesperson for garnier hair colour that tests on animals so that's how much she gives a crap about animals 😷
danielle batten well said. She try to keep this sweetheart girl next door image and she's so transparent.
You're very good a debating, Joey. I agree with your points. Well done mate
Yep he did better this time.
Thanks Joe. Skills just keep getting better, amazing to see how far you have come. Can't wait to see how far you can take it ☮️.
“I can’t be called a murderer because I’m slaughtering a cow not a human” 🙄 That is the most bull shit thing I’ve ever heard.
Human canine teeth have not developed to eat meat. Most mammals have canine teeth, no matter what they eat. The largest canines on Earth belong to the completely herbivorous hippopotamus. Our canines and overall mouth structure in no way resemble that of true carnivores or omnivores.
That is a dumb argument
agreed, the teeth are meaningless. The number of stomachs & lack of hind gut processor that can obtain calories from cellulose is a different story though
I wanna see him chew on raw meat with his CANINES lol 😆
Zsic Kristina For real. I think this clip of Schofield pointing to his teeth will come back to haunt him as long as we're going where Simon Amstell says we are ;)
Lilac Lizard are you suggested humans were made to eat meat because we’re not ruminants? Plenty of non-ruminant herbivorous animals. Humans are closer to frugivores anyway
Intense but very very necessary. Good job!
They bombarded you with many pseudo-arguments and my brain couldn't help but run the tape of every counter-response lol
Yet, due to shortage of time and it being 3 against one essentially, you did very well in prioritizing key points and successfully getting the message through. You're a veteran pro xxx
*Joey Carbstrong is a legend*
He confuted 4 illogical people.
That lady defining murder and rape only if it's on human blows my mind.
because she isn't intellectually capable of answering if it's immoral to take an animal's life she had to try and confuse everyone by talking about terminology and sidestepping the questionand focus on wording instead of addressing the act itself like Joey kept asking multiple times is the act of taking an animal's life who doesn't want to die moral
wrong murder is only applicable to humans and species like ants and bees i suppose. animals kill each other for personal gain always have and always will this is for food from their bodies food that that animal has stored the other animals possessions to bolster its own gain . the difference between us and them is the concepts we have come up with like jobs and law and all that. and also alot in part because animals dont like seeing thier own kind die.(generally) but as i said about possessions and shit like land and materials we kill each other to gain control and make it better for ourselves and those allied with us. also the insemination is better i know of alot of cows that have had hips or legs broken from the weight of bulls trying to impregnate them .
CDT Corsair is any of what you said supposed to be a justification for consuming animals and their secretions?
@@sarahelizabeth2359 sure is, you do t survive if you feel for everything you have to ignore morals and all that to be able to continue on with everything. Even without killing them just having them around you'd still complain about enslaving them cos we use their secretions like their shit to fertilise all sorts of stuff
CDT Corsair so you’re saying we should ignore our morality and continue this cycle of abusing and killing innocent beings needlessly?
frustrating to hear the dumbest excuses over and over again
thank you for doing this Joey. reaching so many people!
Yeah making us realise how deluded vegans are thanks joey good job . Kkkkkk
All this work will reap a massive harvest x
You absolutely smashed this interview ! Thank you for using your voice to defend animals ! Seriously inspiring !
Murder, rape and slavery apply to sentient beings, not only to humans. We are not that special. Animales feel pain and fear as we do.
canines tho :)))
As soon as he said it I paused and went to the comments xD
ikr it is so cringey when people say that....
same!
Plant eaters have canines too, see facebook.com/544580732238947/photos/a.973958835967799.1073741828.544580732238947/1256677471029266/?type=1&theater
they always want to say canines but never stop to think if those canines can tear through flesh and break bones like a lion tho
Thank you so much Joey ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
you done such a great job mate! keep fighting
It's so frustrating that they spent so much time caring about the terminology as opposed to defending their practices - some would say that's because they can't defend their actions...
Also I used to think Phillip Schofield was alright but bringing up the canines???? Really????? So ridiculous
George Harrison I know that terminology lady was so beyond ridiculous.
I used to think Philip was cool but here he seems noncompassionate n ignorant.
Joey, I’m thankful for you. Thanks for exposing them on tv.
Its take a very strong and eloquent person to stay focussed against such opposition. Thank you for your passion, clarity and common sense.
It's funny how the hosts kept giving their opinions but when you asked them if they agreed that it's not humane that it's savagery they were both stuttering and all of sudden it's not about their opinions anymore
They act as facilitators of the discussion. They're not giving their views; they put forward arguments to encourage debate. That's why when they're asked a direct question they can't answer it, because they're not there to give their views. Why can't people understand the role of moderators?
Paul2377 they were obviously biased and were only putting forward arguments against veganism and it seems to be a trend in these interviews that they go against the vegans but I'll keep in mind what you said maybe they should've brought arguments for why veganism is healthy or that it does some good that's all I'm saying and no I don't know much about moderating but even you can agree it was biased and I'm not the only person to say this was a four against one situation it's clear as day
This is an old video but Joey if you are reading this, you should know that you are such an inspiration. I love what you do and we’re with you 100%
Farmer: we as humans eat MEAT and vegetables
Joey’s face: oh we do?
wat
Good job, Joey! That had to have been tough being 4 against 1. You are an amazing advocate for the animals. Thank you!
Oh joey.. he looked like a triggered person who was fragile.
Although meat eating is wrong, this image just ruins veganism.
Joey you have all the answers! Philip we have not got canine teeth, our teeth are not sufficient to tear raw flesh get real! well done Jerry, best wishes from Ireland 🍀🍀
Joey, you're amazing! ✌😍 A compassionate man is so attractive.
Right??? He is hubby goals ❤️
Never seems to apply to male Nurses for some reason that, regardless of how compassionate they are. By the way top marks for just laying it out there. You don't get if you don't try.
Omg.. Joey, now im so envious xD
He used to be a criminal and engage in gang related crime, now he makes a living pretending to be vegan.
Jack Jensen jail bird
Wow look at his canines, they look deadly!
Plant Powered Dad that was a cringey moment 😁
I love how they are acting like the victims it’s hilarious
The vegans?
@@MikeHunt-xj5xf the dairy farmers
You did great Joey!
You handled it so well Joey❤️
So frustrating that neither the hosts or the farmers answer a single question in a direct manner
Brilliantly done Joey, thank you for speaking up for the victims.
That really did seem like 4 on 1. Jeez, don't think I'd have been able to keep as calm or on topic.
Well done lad. Keep speaking for the voiceless❤️🌱 love from South Africa.
that is the worst argument i have ever heard, a lion needs to hunt in the wild to survive, lol how does it compare to us killing innocent animals? we don't need it to survive.
This article is a joke, isn't it?
(And no, egoistic reasons like the tast dont count..)
And yes meat contains high levels of nutrients but in most cases it exist plant based grocery who contains more nutrients than any of these animal products.
There are countless studies from actual licensed nutritionists that disprove your pseudoscience claims.
a whole foods plant based diet is suitable for all stages of life.
eat a fucking sweet potato if you're worried about vitamin A
SoulKiller If we were meant to eat meat then why is red meat a category 2 carcinogen?
Those farmers mumbled their words. Joey was confident because what he was saying was right.
Its people like you that goes just a small way of making everything better for these poor animals. Thanks man 👍
This is amazing, it's heartbreaking that there are humans who at this moment in time don't have the mental capacity to come to terms with the truth of it all, too selfishly concerned about their taste buds and how they may suffer if they don't unnecessarily eat a murdered animal, or drink raped cows milk ect ect. Never stop talking and spreading love Joey, you are truly amazing.
YEAH THESE PEOPLE ARE INSANE
I literally face palmed myself into the fourth dimension when Phil mentioned ‘canines’...
I used to think he was a smart man.
Sounds like you’re in a cult.
I miss this passionate activism from Joey. The vibrancy and motive was so strong.
Joey Carbstrong much respect opening people's eyes 1 love.
EJ M you're an idiot
you are a great man ! I bow for you and the will you have fighting for our lovely earthling friends !!
Simon Schuster cows taste so good though
I love you Joey, what you say is nothing but truth ❤️
Why always the non vegetarian sympathetic media and journalists invite and corner a single vegan activist?
Well done Joey.
You got across a core message about the immorality of exploiting animals.
I know how hard it is to stay focused on a core message when the emotions of the debate kick in.
You were amazing.
Thanks for your wonderful example of advocacy.
So ridiculous how they try to portrat the farmers as the victims
Well done brother!!
Job well done Joey, keep them on their heels and we'll break their backs one day. Truth is Truth!
Charles S. Break their backs??? You sound the type to send death threats. Grow up
Chris, it's an old saying, get educated.
Charles S. Get educated??? How very predictable. I’ll get educated after I’ve finished this juicy streak I’m eating.....mmmmmmm tasty.
Chris, that's steak not "streak." As I said before, you need to educate yourself.
Charles S. chris: gets beaten in an argument with 7 words
also chris: reverts to the old “im eating meat ahaha get triggered” as a defense mechanism
