Dairy farmers Jonny and Dulcie Crickland say they have an ethical farm and treat their animals fairly, but have recently come under fire from hardcore vegans sending them abuse. Militant vegan campaigner Joey Carbstrong explains why he thinks there is no need for farming in the world.

Joey made some hard hitting points here, I watched this a while ago on his channel and it turned me vegan to hear his sincere and honest words.

How is it cruel to milk the cow? The cow will get mastitis which will rot the udder, a cruel disease on the cow..and if u dont treat it..in severe cases the cow dies..just saying
Joey is doing great work here showing these animal abusers what it's like to have a spine. It wasn't called murder to hang a black man a few hundred years ago either. But we evolved morally and expanded our circle of compassion. It's interesting to see if someone is not thinking about veganism and is talking about say, a dog being sexually abused, they have no issue using words like rape. And if a dog is killed, no one bats an eye if the headline say "human murdered their dog". Literally no one cares except for when THEIR specific abuse is being called out on the carpet.
So can you tell us all how the farmers are going to supply us all with vegan products in the UK. It's all great having an opinion but what about a solution?
Would be great if we could do that in the UK.. but I really don't know if we have the right climate for growing all year round. But if we can then I'd like to hear these solutions.

@@TheKidodog I know I’m replying a little late, but based on the fact we breed and slaughter 80 billion animals a year to feed 7 billion people, it makes sense we can cut out the animals in this equation and produce food for ourselves? We’d all be healthier on a whole foods plant-based diet, reduce our climate footprint, end unnecessary animal suffering etc.

@@abhisheknarayana1224 Nah, that's not how things are going. Even China is moving towards the direction of cutting down on meat. Sure, as you said things are moving forward in some Western countries, but not exclusively over there. You're Indian, so you should know you can live without meat. In my developing country, vegan restaurants have always existed and now are mushrooming (they've just opened a new one 5 minutes from my house by the way). By the way no, I don't live in a Western country, either. Buddy

Very simple, dairy cows are impregnated forcefully, watch it on youtube it's horrific. They need to be pregnant and bear childeren to produce milk. Once their child is born, their calf is taken away from their mother as the calf would drink the milk that we are denying it. After six or so years of the mother cow bearing children and crying out in agony after they are taken away from them they are slaughtered for meat. Naturally they would get as old as 20 years or so. The mothers children are lucky if they are males as they either get shot on their first day of their existance or they are slaughtered for their body parts at six months old. Again remember naturally they would get as old as 20. If they are unlucky and are born as females they are forced to go theough the same tourment their mothers had to. Even if you are a vegetarian cows are still dying for your consumption of their secretions. If you read all of this I want to thank you for doing so. We've been lied by these industries portraying what are essentually concentration camps as something moral. Please consider going vegan and ending this exploitation. Watch Earthling Ed, he made me go vegan 3 years ago.
@@nabils9837that’s factory farming, not all farms use AI. People can simply buy milk from an ethical and organic farm
Maybe do some research into the dairy industry then! Also you can get calcium and iron from plenty of sources other than milk and red meat (and should be doing so anyway even on a balanced animal-based diet).
@@BranoneMCSG why is it that vegetarians tend to have an agree to disagree attitude about meat and TOWARDS meat eaters but alot of vegans don’t seem to?. They don’t like meat, but they don’t go on moral crusades, including public protesting, either. How does a dead cow produce greenhouse gases, incidentally? Industry and associated transportation INCLUDING of foods consumed by vegans contributes to Climate change also.
I never used to care about vegans, until they started the protesting, now the word vegan or plant based makes my skin crawl.
I was the same, but when I saw protests I thought gee, what happens to animals must be bad if they go this far. It's all about the person. If you have empathy, activism works.
