Few dabs of alcohol and a coat vaseline....overnight....I never get razor bumps with the grain or against the grain. My lower neck....is a different story...Vics Vapor Rub wonders too. Thanks Bro

I have been shaving against the grain for about a year. I shave my head with coconut oil only and the razor glides so well. I use that tend skin also. It is amazing!

I use Tend Skin, let it dry for a few minutes, then use Nivea Post Shave Balm. Works great for me, but I'm going to also try Vicks Vapor Rub.

Neat video, will have to try it for shaving bumps. I hope that by now you trimmed your beard down. It will look way thicker once you do. I made the mistake of letting my beard grow out without trimming it before and the same thing happened to me
For ingrown hair bumps n blemishes just rub an alum. It works wonders on the skin n gets rid of the bumps forever n even the marks too.

Little bit of pure aloe Vera right after the shave. Cools it right down
Tea tree oil is better. Its antiseptic as well. You can get it from health food/ beauty aid stores, the muslims. The muslims are better because it has less carrier oil. But mix it in your own oils or vaseline because it is strong and can burn. Also castor oil. It helps with inflamed follicles, infections in scalp and its an antifungal and antibacterial. It can stimulate your hair growth as well. You can get it in the same places i named for the tea tree oil. I buy mine online buy the gallon because i use it for everything. But its cheaper to buy it at wholesalers online than like an Amazon . Even in small quantities. You see the difference immediately

I've always shaved my head against the grain; it's the only way I get a smooth finish. Never had a problem with bumps. Now my neck and face are 50/50.
What is your routine ? I always have ingrown hairs on the back of my head.
@quartz5695 Nothing special. I do it in the shower, so i make sure to wash my head at the beginning. Then I shave afterwards. I guess it's just different for everyone. Still can't put a razor to my face and neck though.
So will the vicks work with bumps on your face as well, asking for my son. He gets bumps sometimes on the side of his face after a hair cut

Over done with the alcohol based products and that’s definitely a no for me but everyone’s different. Not to mention you have to be very careful with using all those products constantly on your face or head because that’s a serious spot for fresh blood flow to the brain and heart
