- Welcome back to my second installment of Sewing on a Sailboat!
Sewing a dress can be a challenge. Sewing a dress in a small space like a sailboat ... that's even harder! But can I sew a dress and sail the boat at the same time? Well that's what this episode aims to find out. I make a reversible dress for Maddie, our 3 year old, while sailing from the British Virgin Islands to St. Martin.
Luckily, the day was as calm as it gets, so sewing while sailing proved to be no problem at all. And I even challenged myself to make the dress reversible. Maddie loved it and I found out that sewing and sailing can be a wonderful way to pass the time on a becalmed passage day.

Yes! So much deja vu. It’s so fun to come back to places that we went to previously but with so much more experience under our belts. We laugh a lot thinking about our first trip! This time we definitely didn’t fall for a time rental scam 🤣
