I would of just called it quits and gone home when I saw an aircraft dodge swarm missiles by doing a 20G flip in the air and speed off in the other direction.

@@davispeterson1876 Seriously, Crimson 1 blows that last UAV fight from 7 out of the water. Not even Sol 1 comes close to matching the insanity
@@A.Z.296 yeah, nothing in 7 really compares.
The only AC bossfights that comes anywhere close is the second-to-last boss in Assault Horizon, where you duel your traitorous former wingman inside of a tornado. But even that one is held back by the inherent issue that Assault Horizon's gameplay is kinda bad, and for some reason they decided that that would be the ONE mission in the entire game where the soundtrack DOESN'T go unreasonably hard. And then to even further undermine the dramatic tension, there's a whole as other mission afterwards, where you have a way less epic fight against a way less interesting villain.
Frost and Mistral are basically the same character. Good choice!
Leave it to Frost to utilize Doxxing as a weapon mid dogfight

Believe it or not, but this video was the tipping point, that made me buy Metal Gear Rising
And I have absolutely zero regrets. That game is an audio-visual masterpiece
Similarly to Ace Combat, Metal Gear Rising is a delight if you want completely nonsensical, over-the-top bullshit that you can’t help but love.

Yea but VR, keyboard and aoa is worse, trippy wise at least cause you are just spinning. But I only play it in vr which is where I have the most fun with it.
VR, controller, AOA on my end.
It's chaotic and tough to keep track of everything in the beginning, but once you get it down, you feel like you really are the main character of an ace combat game.

It's actually easier than using controller or flight stick. The plane does 90% of work for you, you just point and control speed

How could I recreate this kind of movement and camera movement on console?
Whats the story behind the stuff on the ground? Like what happened in the story for earth to end up in a post apocalypse scenario? I've never played project wingman for context.
Context: this is the mission 16 (Wayback) and in-game it happens almost immediately after mission 15 (Consequence of power). In mission 15 enemy faction (Pacific Federation) uses this game version of nukes (using fictional material corodium), against faction you play as (Cascadia)(but actually you and your wingman are mercenaries hired by Cascadia). However, Federation didn't account for weapon corrodium reacting with passive corrodium in ground, which caused basically majority of Ring of Fire to ignite, creating geothermal storms and volcanic eruptions across Ring of Fire.
This game set in our world, but with major geographic and political alterations, so this mission happens in Northern Alaska.

But is this game set on Earth or on some alien planet, cause I don't remember Earth's surface being like a hellish landscape.
The game looks overly red mainly because this mission is set after a cordium weapon (a nuke) going off.
The game is set on our earth long after Yellowstone erupts. In the aftermath a new, very dangerous but very valuable material called Cordium is discovered. Its used in the warheads of the cruise missiles which you had to try and intercept in the previous mission. You fail to do so and the result is what you see in the video.
