Knew I was in for something bad so I recorded a race, lo and behold 20 gorillion cops show up at the end, so about 75% of the video is me running the hell away, and almost failing several times. I also took the liberty of editing NFSMW pursuit music into the video, in a way that sort of emulates the music system in the original game. It's not 100% accurate, but I got it as close as I could.

Still getting used to 6 speed maps but I'm proud of this run even with 46 misses. My arms hate me though. Also I'm aware that my cursor is on the screen but I can't be bothered to go back and re-record this, cause my arms need a break.

This game play is so cordium that I literally started getting motion sickness from watching
God, the way you turn into the merge immediately after getting that first kill is RUTHLESS.

If i had mod tools for this game, I'd equip Crimson 1 with his usual weapons, but add all of Faust's weapons on his PW-MK1. overkill much? I think not.

It's not. It's mouse aim and max FOV, they're both in the game by default.

I was expecting crimson to start emitting lasers on his 3rd health bar, and the orbs to join him on emitting lasers at the last phase. I can't wait to try this mod out! Edit: That ending was sick actually. Really can't wait!

Project Wingman was Kickstarter'd back when nobody thought Ace Combat 7 would exist as a small fangroup's attempt at paying homage to the series. They did extremely well given the size of the team.

Flak, lasers, leftover debriefing dialogue including a couple of cut lines that are in the dialogue tables but are otherwise missing, K-9's F-15 skin and the wreckage pieces of the Roosevelt + textures

Whats the story behind the stuff on the ground? Like what happened in the story for earth to end up in a post apocalypse scenario? I've never played project wingman for context.
Context: this is the mission 16 (Wayback) and in-game it happens almost immediately after mission 15 (Consequence of power). In mission 15 enemy faction (Pacific Federation) uses this game version of nukes (using fictional material corodium), against faction you play as (Cascadia)(but actually you and your wingman are mercenaries hired by Cascadia). However, Federation didn't account for weapon corrodium reacting with passive corrodium in ground, which caused basically majority of Ring of Fire to ignite, creating geothermal storms and volcanic eruptions across Ring of Fire. This game set in our world, but with major geographic and political alterations, so this mission happens in Northern Alaska.

Believe it or not, but this video was the tipping point, that made me buy Metal Gear Rising And I have absolutely zero regrets. That game is an audio-visual masterpiece
Similarly to Ace Combat, Metal Gear Rising is a delight if you want completely nonsensical, over-the-top bullshit that you can’t help but love.
For half the video I thought some of the aircraft were launching flares, until I saw them start chasing people.

The game looks overly red mainly because this mission is set after a cordium weapon (a nuke) going off.
The game is set on our earth long after Yellowstone erupts. In the aftermath a new, very dangerous but very valuable material called Cordium is discovered. Its used in the warheads of the cruise missiles which you had to try and intercept in the previous mission. You fail to do so and the result is what you see in the video.
