I'd say so. I have been hoping to get back into Armored Core 6, as well as it's multiplayer. Though, it's rather overwhelming. Still, both these titles have incredible visuals.
@@Neolith_ AC6's multiplayer is fun but it is mostly dominated by tanks and rats on higher ranks. Also not to forget FromSoft's horrible netcode will make you wanna quit the game lol It is fun regardless but i really hope FS balances it and improves the netcode
yknow, while crimson 1 is often regarded as another ace combat villain with a stupid motivation, i personally see him as just vengeful, you take away his glory, his friends and partners, his status, and eventually his life, he hates you so much that he's willing to nuke his homeland and kill millions of his people just for vengeance, and in the final fight, some of his lines sound like he's frustrated with how much he's given while still not being able to kill you, and i think he blames you for ''making him do all this'' because he believes Cascadia would be better off as a part of the federation, and maybe just coping for doing all that and you STILL surviving it
Considering he is set up like the “main character” of the federation it sort of makes since. He was everything, the ace, leader of the crimson squadron, poster boy of the federation. Then Monarch came along.
"We're a team Monarch! Why won't you let me come with you?!" "Because this fight isn't yours... And I can't sacrifice you in a fight meant for monsters..."
The only thing this needs are the dialogues in the credits when you beat the game on wingman difficulty. Just crimson voice gets grating so it would be cool if it was there to break it up. Like the one guy saying "The sky is on fire...."
I'm not gonna lie, I always wished the game would've ended with you and Crimson-1 shooting each other down. And a final conversation between the two as one heads toward the ground, the other to the sky. Crimson, falling toward the blood red earth. Monarch, flying free, approaching his death in the great blue.
@@Neolith_eh, I agree with the sentiment of the devs, it would have felt absurdly anti-climactic, and I think it fits better that their planes got disabled rather than destroyed given their piloting skills (not on the level or Monarch or Crimson 1, but certainly enough to survive his barrage). Plus the idea of ground hostilities continuing after that is kind of absurd, everyone would really just be fighting to survive at that point.

bro made a full on trailer for PW and it's so much better than the actual thing. it highlights the graphics, the player, the main antagonist, and the gameplay. not only that, but they put in different missions from the campaign and highlighted prospero's AND presidia's destruction as a consequence of using cordium as a weapon. absolute masterpiece.
Second playthrough, Merc difficulty in the F15 EX, 5HP left (was much too aggressive when he started using the EMS spheres and I had already taken a few hits due to not flaring thinking I was beating the missiles' turn rate), running low on missiles, and being fkn gaslit the entire time as my WSO finally passes out from the G's. I had the WSO mod which made me feel like I was flying for more than just myself and the sake of the mission. I remember so vividly being on the deck and looking up at Crimson 1 in the orange sky preparing yet another barrage of railguns and missiles. There's no music, no dialogue, nothing; just the strain of the G-forces on our bodies. I'm playing the "speed is life" game at this point because if I bleed too much speed that's my ass, so I keep the afterburner pinned. I made my way around the circle, pulling up every now and then to send a weak reply of my own before dipping down for speed again. This fight had me so engrossed that the very frustration of not being able to kill your target even after so much effort began to bleed unto me, to the point whereas the only thought I had left was "fucking *die* already", which I spoke through grit teeth. Have you ever seen that WWII dogfight animation "Paths of Hate"? I highly recommend that you watch it you haven't already. It really puts this fight into perspective. It very quickly stopped being Project Wingman for me at that moment as I remembered all of the times he tracked me down to throw a wrench in my operations, just to piss off right before I could finally kill him. And now this, where he *nukes his fucking home* JUST AS WE CALLED A CEASEFIRE. And with the knowledge that everybody on the ground is now either dead or shit out of luck, just to have this shitbird blame me for it??? Yeah, I got kinda angry. . . and I guess the feeling was mutual. With that in mind, I disregarded all safety with only the latent thoughts of "I still gotta get Prez home"; finally gained altitude to match his and just went full in with my guns and the rest of my missiles; the latter of which would finally find their mark and sent him back down to earth in a crimson pyre. Don't ask me how I did it I just did it it was *hard*. TLDR: Best fucking dogfight I have ever had. Ace Combat has never made me feel that way.
This really helps us see what we do at the end of the day. We win, but at what cost? Countless lives? An entire cities population? What? What's to gain from it all?
project wingman was my first experience in flight combat games, This game is such a work of art in every aspect. Incredible work in bringing out the raw emotion from the boss fight with crimson. (also badass moves dodging the railgun shots like that)

The Federation/Peacekeepers failed Crimson 1 very utterly at the moment of truth (the Cordium bombing of Prospero and ensuing Second Calamity), but Crimson 1 has invested too much into the Federations' professed ideology to come out with any rational conclusion.

Thanks for your feedback. Regarding the objective, while I considered doing something similar, I wanted things to feel as disconnected as possible. Thus, I merely redid the game's intro in my own style. I appreciate it regardless. Hopefully my next works hold up.

As much I adore the FD-14, as well as Prez, it would have made recording/editing a bit less cleanly. Though, I will absolutely consider including Prez within a 'Showdown' themed recreation. The only thing I could suggest as an improvement would be if you had used Monarch’s skin in the UF-22, so we would be seeing his symbol instead of a tail number

@@Neolith_ Given how Project ACES keep tossing out needless DLC right and left, instead of fixing the real problems in Ace Combat 7, I presume they’re short in money therefore badly in need of cash-in to prevent going bankrupt. But since Project Wingman and Raiders Sphere 3rd/4th have proved we fans can take care ourselves way better, we actually don’t need Project ACES anymore. If Project ACES do goes bankrupt, I’ll just shrug and go back to continue enjoying Project Wingman and Raiders Sphere 3rd/4th.
.OGG formatted throughout the game engine files, under folders M18 and M21. Reformatted as MP3s with some third party software. Files were initially extracted with the use of Unreal Tournament Quick BMS. Unreal version 4.24 (I believe?). It has been some time since I, well, had the time to do this.

As you can see within this short film, while I had genuinely considered going for a canonically accurate recreation, I ultimately decided on recreating my initial experience with the game. As much I adore the FD-14, as well as Prez, it would have made recording/editing a bit less cleanly.
Though, I will absolutely consider including Prez within a 'Showdown' themed recreation. Thanks very much for the suggestions.

The idea of synchronizing the cuts with the music is good but there are too many, which makes it hard to focus on what's going on.

@@Neolith_ Given how Project ACES keep tossing out needless DLC right and left, instead of fixing the real problems in Ace Combat 7, I presume they’re short in money therefore badly in need of cash-in to prevent going bankrupt. But since Project Wingman and Raiders Sphere 3rd/4th have proved we fans can take care ourselves way better, we actually don’t need Project ACES anymore. If Project ACES do goes bankrupt, I’ll just shrug and go back to continue enjoying Project Wingman and Raiders Sphere 3rd/4th.

How did you even find the voice files?
.OGG formatted throughout the game engine files, under folders M18 and M21. Reformatted as MP3s with some third party software. Files were initially extracted with the use of Unreal Tournament Quick BMS. Unreal version 4.24 (I believe?). It has been some time since I, well, had the time to do this.
