I would check the serial number under your seat and plug it into Google to make sure you order the right ones. I noticed in the video at 9:09, He had two different types of blades. The yellow set was the S pattern and the black set was the star pattern.
It's a great kit honestly and for 70, why not just do it all and make some content. Battery is just because I'm going to use the original one for the fall, has better cca than the one I put in but the one I put in should be a better battery for the summer 🌞
It's still good and has better cold cranking amps than the one I put in, I was just so busy this spring that figured while I was at the store and going to do everything I might as well throw a new battery in for the summer as well
"engine made in the USA of US and global parts" Thats like the USA flags made in china 😂 Cub cadet should know better than this. It should say "assembled in the usa" My lesco says made in the usa. I don't know if cub cadet was outsourced in the 90, but pretty sure lesco was 100% American under cub cadet. What'll these companies do when we decide to make the plastic ban, a federal level? Rant over. Hope you had a good mother's day. Nothing wrong with a cold beer and turning into a mother on mother's day 😂
Yeah Cub Cadet is cheap stuff but it's their top of the line cheap stuff and it's been working for what it is so no real complaints on my end but the machine only has 34 hrs on it now so no real issues to be had yet and true 🍻
@@redoakpropertycarellc All of todays equipment is cheaply made. I went to buy a brand new John Deere X350 and was floored by how cheaply built the "Good" John Deers's are now. I opted for a Cub XT2 LX46, build quality about the same maybe a bit better,,but it was the price that was the game changer. I looked at them all, Husq, JD, CC, etc,,,the CC was easily the best value and quality for the price.
I realize for completion sake you showed all of this in the video to help viewers. Just stating that some things only need changed when they're bad, like the battery too. :) @@redoakpropertycarellc
@@AimingWanderously true. Was the start of my season and I do 20 yards regularly so just wanted to be ready for the season, the battery that was in it is now my Sept-Nov battery and the one I put in was my May-Aug battery since has lower cold cranking amps.
I did skip the fuel filter but will put it in after leaf season so ready for next year. Probably will just do deck paint, blades, oil, & air filter this spring. 🌼🌱
@@redoakpropertycarellc I try to follow the manual as close as possible. however when I put it away for the winter i'll always change the oil and filter. I don't care what they put in that Kohler Oil, every 100 hours! I put 20 hours a year on mine not letting oil sit in there for 5 years. Keep the engine clean, won't have worries.
What is the part number for the mulch kit. I’m having a hard time finding the right one with so many options.
I can't remember right not but I think I answered it in one of my similar videos. I went to cubcadet.com and ordered

@nakrohtap has never been am issue. S prob are best though for fit wise
Take care of your equipment & it will take care of you..I use to grab that same kit!! Gettin ready!!💯💪🏽

Thanks I have an LT46 great mower.
If I didn't have to worry about gates to get into people's back yard that's the size I probably would've went with 🍻
Got the same engine on my ZT1, Love the mower jack I wonder sometimes why I waited so long to get one! I laughed at the paramedic finding you🙃🤣
Hey, gotta be safe out here.
Should the pre-oil filter be slightly oiled, as the instructions advise?
Yeah, helps create a seal and makes getting them off way easier 🍻
@@redoakpropertycarellc My mistake, I meant the pre-AIR filter. I've seen it oiled and not oiled.
@macmccollum6064 I've never oiled mine I don't think
How long did the small battery last? I notice that that's whats coming in some mowers now days

What do I use for search for lift like you have??
I got my at Blaine's for 300 but they sell a cheaper one at harbor freight . Google lawn mower lift
Whats the gap supposed to be did u even check it
For the spark plug? Brand new and had zero issues out of anything performed in this video. Actually just did it all again 🍻

You went from a 210 CCA battery to a 120 CCA battery btw
Yeah, because one is my fall battery and one is my summer battery
Nov mornings when I still need my mower can be 10 degrees
I don't see the need to replace spark plugs unless you have issues. To me if they work, they work, they're not a "maintenance" changeout item.
Came in the kit so why not

Nice mower/ shit engine should have gotten the Kawasaki
Idk. I have 100 hours on this, and there are no issues so far. I have a kawasaki in my gravely. The kawasaki are probably better
