Unfortunately it is quite expensive and they are not a lot of dealers. I currently own a BYD Dolphin and I am very satisfied with BYD and my local dealer. I need a bigger car, but I will wait for the Sealion 5, first. But the Sealion 6 looks very good and the price s hot (same as a Atto3 two years ago...).
Thanks for these videos. Very informative. After testing many brands I selected xpeng. I also think it's a very good brand and I tend to agree with your comments. However, I also fear the analysis here could be a bit biased? I like it but I'm not blind 😂. The others have their strengths also
I was really looking for the arrival of BYD Sea Lion 07 in Europe (almost sure that we will not receive BYD Song L). But BYD really needs to improve the software. With similar software I would take BYD Sea Lion 07 but Xpeng G6 looks promising..

It was not a fair test. In the real world the BYD SEALION 7 will do much better. You don't charge from 29% to test DC fast charging. 10% to 80% is the proper test and allows for the charging curve. Furthermore they did not specify which version. The top version is 800/900 volt the other two versions are 400volt. They were mixing up 400 and 800 volt cars and doing charging tests from a SOC that was no where near low enough.
I test drove the Sealion 7 and the Xpeng...the BYD's software is best suited for highways and worked well, but city driving the Xpeng was far better. But the Sealion is very nicely finished inside and comes with HUD, which I quite like. The Xpeng range and charging speeds are better, but depending on how you will be using and charge the vehicle this may not be an issue.

Which version of the BYD SEALION 7 did you use? Only the top version is 800/900 volt architecture friendly. The two lower versions are 400volt architecture.
The fuel consumption figures cannot be correct. There are already some other tests with fuel consumption figures of at least 17.9 for the XPeng. It looks as if the XPeng and the Tesla are driving at 30 km/h and the BYD Sealion 07 at 140 km/h.
Chinese car review generally got one problem. They always bias to their own product. If they prefer one product even if got weak point they will try to cover it. It is just a stupid video to promote Xpeng G6. Xpeng G6 is good but it is still behind Tesla Model Y. Otherwise why the Tesla Model Y the best selling car (combined ICE and EV) in China for consecutive years.
They are very unprofessional reviewers. Right from the start they are super bias towards Model Y. Why bother to put a model Y inside the review? I will never buy BYD. I will consider Xpeng but finally i will still get the Model Y. Tesla is best and most reliable. Xpeng anytime can go bankrupt.
@@norbertmikscha8666 All four vehicles in the video are being charged at a Xiaopeng supercharging station, which might explain why Xpeng G6 has the fastest charging speed due to compatibility with the functionality. If all four vehicles were charged at a BYD supercharging station, perhaps BYD would be the fastest; similarly, if they were all at a Tesla charging station, Tesla might be the fastest. This part of the charging test is not entirely fair to the other three vehicles.

I agree, the large difference between models is quite suspect. We’ll have to wait for other comparison reviews to have a more informed opinion

the byd sealion 07 has a charging capacity of 240 kw with all-wheel drive. Tesla and the song l don't have that. all wrong numbers
Maybe you mix something.It does not mention BYD's charging capabilities but only states that Xpeng's charging capabilities can reach up to 280 kW.
