I had ordered the sealion 6, but the sales lady called me up and told me that the sealion 7 is arriving soon, and she wanted to know if I wanted that instead. So I think I'm going to switch to the sealion 7. I like the AWD option.
I think you can test drive both first. From my observation, if you want just a decent big size SUV with ample of power and mileage with reasonable pricing then G6 is the choice. But if you want something more like AWD, more powerful electric motors and a touch of more premium materials then choose the Sealion 7.
The suspension setup is on the balance side. But you can felt there is a layer firmness when going over bumpy road or uneven roads. I would put it into scale the softness is 45 of 100. I think the suspension is alright for such big SUV.
I think first of all see which car you like the most then choose that one. Then if you don’t need a super powerful electric motors and more premium materials on the car. Then G6 is the one to go. It is personal preference more.

XPeng G6 seems a bit superior against this. But the test of the adaptive cruise control is just once and limited range. So can’t 100% sure which is the more superior one. But just from the test alone I think G6 is better.

Waiting this Sea Lion 7 coming to Indonesia. BYD should bring fully EV SUV as choice. Because, most top selling here is SUV.

Personally, from paper specs, the g6 looks like a better buy.

Dont just compare the paper. Just go to showroom and test both.
I love both. It is matter of how you will use it. G6 is great for two people on a road trip while SEALION 7 is better for a family.
