  • Hello everyone and a very warm welcome to SOUTHEND AVIATION.
My latest video offering showcases one of the flying Folland Gnat jet trainer aircraft at North Weald Airfield located in Essex. North Weald houses many examples of the classic jet trainer as well as the likes of Jet Provosts, an L-29 and even a Hawker Hunter.
G-RORI is the star example in this video, a 1963 built jet wearing the No. 4 Flying Training School RAF livery. The video includes the engine start of the Bristol Siddeley Orpheus turbojet, taxi and departure.
A pleasure to visit the Gnat Display Team who spend countless hours restoring the UK's aviation Heritage. You can follow their Facebook page here: / gnatdisplay
    My Equipment used:
    Sony A7RIII
    Sony G 18-105mm F/4 lens
    Zoom H1 Sound Recorder
Thank you all for watching my latest video, should you wish to support my photographic offerings you can follow my Instagram here:
