I MADE A TWEED!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much Robin YOU ARE THE MASTER. I followed along with no problems at all. When I tried to make tweed in the past I couldn't figure out how to layer a pattern on top of a pattern & that's where I was getting stuck. When you used graphic styles, I was like Ohhhhhh!
    Thanks so much!!!!

I want to give a shout-out to Robin. When I had a challenge in getting the recolor tool to work, she went out of her way to give me additional direction and guidance on how to make it work. I applaud her patience and commitment. She really cares about her audience and I am very appreciative to her for the extra time and help.

Is this process good for a printed look? I do AOP items and I thought it would be cool to have the tweed look.

Hello, Thank you for doing this video. I wanted to see if you have a suggestion on one area that I am having problems with. I can not get the recolor tool to produce a white sample. I have checked the settings several times but to no avail. Any guidance you can give me is appreciated!

I have never had trouble adding a white swatch with the recolor tool so maybe I am not understanding what it is you are asking. Can you give more of an explanation? Or you can email me a screen shot or file. Robin@adobeforfashion.com

I love this! Thank you! Could you do a video on your best practices for shading croquis figures and clothing in Illustrator?

I'm new to this and had a question. Why did you need to create a new graphic style with the tweed cherry that has a 1 pt black stroke to use for your flat? Why wouldn't you be able to use the one you created without the stroke? Would it not come out right? Thanks for the help. I loved this video and can't wait to make a tweed.

It would come out fine without the 1pt black stroke, but then you would have to open the stroke panel and add restore it. That's 5 seconds of your life you will never get back.😁 If you click on something with a stroke and apply a GS that doesn't include a stroke, it will remove the stroke and you will need to add it back.
