How to Make Seamless Pattern Swatches from Stroked Designs in Adobe Illustrator

You can create Seamless Pattern Swatches from almost ANY design - even ones with strokes around their outside edges. All you need is a well-placed Bounding Box, and Adobe Illustrator will do the rest. In this tutorial, Susan Rutledge demonstrates how to successfully make and use a Bounding Box, as well as showing how to scale, rotate and move Pattern Swatches that have already been applied to objects. Keyboard Shortcuts provided for both MAC and PC users. If the closed captions are a distraction, click on CC to turn them off.

For Tilda, I have to press alt gr+Ü, so it doesn't work. There are é and " keys next to 1, but they do not work. What should I search for in the shortcut settings to find the correct combination?

I am using a MAC keyboard and my tilda key is to the left of the #1, and I'm not familiar with other keyboards. Perhaps you could do a Google search to find out how to access the tilda key on your keyboard. Wish I could be more help.
