I was already working on tshirt designs and when I saw this I jumped right into it.
Barbor logo! Which begs the question, what licensing is available for what we create in the free account?? Are they free to use on website/ products ect or will that be considered illegal on some level?
@@CharlieForeign Awesome! Everything is actually commercial license, with every tier for this tool ☺ the only thing you can't do, is sell these designs/templates as if they are your own, that of course would be illegal. But you can use any and everything for any project.
Iam 63 years old and we love our jeeps and vintage cars. I am going to surprise my dear with a vintage jeep logo mixed with a Viking theme (his origin) I am from South Africa.

Love Kittl and this tutorial, as I'll be creating a logo for a brewery!! Just getting my feet wet, as I'm used to using Illustrator but the one thing I don't see, is the ability to add a border or stroke on the outside of text? (Or when using Illustrator, Object > Path > Offset Path). I will look further, as this is my first time doing a tutorial but keep up the exceptional work! Cheers!
Hey there! You can actually add a stroke to any text over in the right side panel, and if you add an effect or decoration such as 3D shadow, you should see another border weight slider down below it that will give you an outer border (or an offset path so to speak). Hope this helps!

With a free account of Heritage Designer, you can export at PNG and JPEG file types, while Pro and Expert level tiers can export SVG and PDF for vector files. That being said, everything in Heritage Designer is vector 😄

Great work! I just discovered Kittl and have subscribed. I have a quick question regarding the use of these logos/posters. Am I allowed to use the logo I create on Kittle on social media? Say, for example, can I use it as my logo or as channel art on RUclips or do I need to get a licence for that? I'm just an amateur trying to learn the basics of design. I have no intention to sell my work to others but at the same I do not want to deal with any infringement issues just because I used your site to make a thumbnail for a RUclips video or a vintage logo for self use. Hey there! You should see arrows on either side of the panel for you to expand the library panel and see all of the elements. Once open the full panel, you can scroll down. If you need more help, don't forget to use the chat feature in Kittl and a customer support agent will help you out!

This will depend on want you want to achieve! Getting in and playing with Kittl is the best way to learn.
Can the final logo be exported in various artwork formats (i.e. - Ai., .Eps, .Pdf, .Png) for clients use? Vector being the preferred file format.

This process makes Illustrator look like a guy trying to start a fire with with a squirt gun.
Just the bevel, drop shadow and letter gradient effect alone would have taken easily 30 minutes to create.

How do you export the logo for use?

I think Heritage Designer is really great! Some of the menu items are not intuitive to me. How do you abandon a change that you're making, such as changing a color? Is it possible to "undo" something?
There are undo and redo button below the artboard, with the little arrows on them :)

Hey there! Heritage Designer is it's own design tool that works right in your browser. It cannot be used on Canva
@@emjay3212 Well, you can't actually export project files from HD, only flattened files that don't become editable anymore. So if they end up in Canva, they would just be images and slightly useless at that point. And we have tons of licensing policies in place, so if we ever see this becoming an issue, we can sort it out :) Thanks!

Hey, we have PNG and JPEG export on the standard plan and also PDF and SVG export on the pro plan :)
