    How do you get that long swooping tail at the end of the lettering like for baseball jerseys? I'm not finding that but I see it in Kittl template designs

      Hey there! Yes, some of the fonts will not have it, but the Milkstore script font has swashes available you can find in the Glyphs panel. And if you scroll towards the bottom, you will see them as very small, almost comma looking icons (because the swash is so big it's difficult to preview), and then you can select one to see if you like it!

    Hello :) I'm trying to enter hearts in between cursive words. What glyph is that?

    • @Kittldesign
      @Kittldesign  5 дней назад +1

      Hey there! Not every font will have glyphs like that, but you can check by opening up the glyphs panel, scrolling down to the bottom, and then scroll all the way down to the bottom.

    How did you switch between the bold and regular font weight? I couldn't capture any button click, maybe there was a keyboard shortcut?

      Hey there, you'll see a small window over on the far right that either says weight, or variable, which you can adjust there. The variable fonts will have a slider.

    How do you implement and manipulate swooshes?

    • @Kittldesign
      @Kittldesign  2 года назад

      Hey there! Swashes and extra end-flourishing are in the glyphs panel, and commonly go at the end of a word (and mainly on Script fonts). If you use the Milkstore font for example, you can open up the glyph panels and scroll until you see some small curved lines (the preview is very small), and once you click it, they will attach to the last letter in your word. Hope this helps!

      Thanks for your response but I notice it works funny with the letter “y”

    l often download fonts from Creative Fabrica, what l wonder is, what's the difference between open and true type fonts ?

    • @Kittldesign
      @Kittldesign  2 года назад

      Hey there! The main difference is in their capabilities. In most cases, it would probably be hard to tell the difference, but it can come in handy to use OTF when thinking about supporting languages and other more advanced styles of fonts. You can read more about the differences by googling them!

    Hi Drew, as I'm sure, you would recommend for Beginners, such as myself, to Start with with the Free Level - to pracise, get used to the Tools, Menu etc. Then, when confident, and free flowing, pay to expand Ability ( and Hopefully acquired 'Talent'), in the Pro Level. ( US $ 120- = roughly AUS $ 170-) I will pay Yearly to save. If i want to expand to the Expert Level, (US$ 288, roughly AUS $ 414 - ) within 12 months, can I get a Prorata in Fee, from Pro to Expert? Cheers, Brad Holmes Tai Chi Gold Coast

      Hey there, I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but if you want to upgrade to Expert, all you would have to do is pay the difference to make up for the remaining balance of 1 year of Expert. In other words, you wouldn't need to pay a whole separate payment for Expert on top of what you paid, you would just need to make up the remaining balance from Pro to Expert. Hope this helps.

    Can I use different languages in kittl

    • @Kittldesign
      @Kittldesign  5 месяцев назад

      Some fonts include glyphs for Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, Cyrillic, and Korean characters. However, they only support left-to-right typing systems, lacking support for top-to-bottom or right-to-left typing.

    Hi, I wanted to ask Why does my design loses quality when downloaded? The edges becomes blurry . I'm downloading in a free version(6144 x 6144 px 300dpi) in a png format. I'm thinking whether I just download it in svg file then just convert it in a vector file which will add extra time for me. Thank you in advance.

      Hey there! With Free Kittl plans, only low resolution downloads are available. You can check out the differences between the plans here: www.kittl.com/pricing

    Glyphs add a lot of extra value to a typeface.
