Super excited to have these to use. I am 71 yrs old but still working in surface design. I will be using this to make my social media posts. This is so great! I created my first design this evening.. I have absolutely no design experience. I am 64 and did not grow up with computers, and it was so easy! Of course, you have to experiment, but that is part of the fun!

Yo, this is so dope! No lie! I spent thousands of dollars obtaining degrees (still paying off my studernt loan) in Graphic Design, then another degree Web Design. Then, yet another degree in Fashion Design. Countless hours and money spent in learning Adobe Suite and various softwares, for example CAD. SIgh! This is literally revolutionary. Wish it was around when I was getting started, back in the early 2K. :)

Last month I bought the Vintage Font Bundle, and Vintage Logo bundle, and NOW I find out about this? I would be upset, but now I look forward to stopping paying my monthly fee to Adobe, and getting the much easier to use Heritage Designer!!!

@@Kittldesign 24 hours in and I am getting more proficient with the tool. It is so much easier and more intuitive than Adobe Illustrator. For what I need (designing signage for my farm) its absolutly perfect. If this goes live i will cancel my Adobe Subscription all together.

We received our glowforge over the weekend and working to learn the ins and outs of its operations. When you were working with the heritage brewing co logo , is there any way that the program can place an outline around the logo that matches the shape ? The reason I am asking is that with the glowforge black lines are etched while red lines are cut thru. If a fitted border line could be done that would be awsome !

@@Kittldesign Free is very limited and the templates are limited. Yes there are some very nice features but for the simple hobbyist, $10 a month is a lot. Especially when that hobbyist is a 72 year old senior living alone on social security.
I want to get into the sign making industry , but I still want to hand paint the signs. Of course this would help cut design time down and showing a client and rendition to keep their interests, I was wondering if this could be also used the cut down production time. Could the designs created given like an inch border around the design be loaded loaded into a cnc program to load more than one design to be cut out of a sheet of whatever material?
Hey there! Yes we have many users using Kittl designs along with their CNC machine. You can export designs as an SVG (vector) in the Pro and Expert accounts.

Hey there! There is a decoration effect over in the Text Effects panel on the left where you can cut a letter in half and make it two different colors. But you cannot make individual letters different colors if they are part of the same text box.

What apo do I need to install in order to download the png ors jpg? I do have psd and ai apps
Hey there, Heritage Designer works right in your browser, so you just need a Wifi connection (no downloadable program), and you can download PNGS and JPEG with a free account :)

What resolution are PNG’s downloaded in with the free PRO trial? Can I use the modified designs for POD?
The Free account limit is 1200x1200 px, and Pro account limit is 6000x6000 px, and yes! You can use the modified designs for POD :)
@@Kittldesign I was told in another communication that I could change the pixel size to whatever I needed in the PRO. And as I am using the PRO free trial, shouldn't that be allowed? So all the PRO functions are NOTavailable in the free trial like advertised?

Do you have templates for advertising of hunting, guns, ammunition etc.? Making old style wood crates and this would be awesome to use withy laser engraver

Can you download the design you create into Corel Draw or Photopaint?
Hey Robin! You can download vector files in SVG or PDF format with our Pro and Expert level subscriptions, which should work appropriately with those programs!
Nice easy to use app. I used it when it was still Heritage Designer (In fact the logo you see here I designed in Heritage Designer), and I tried it again this AM as Kittl. But Kittl will not open now. When I try to go there it tells me that it through an invalid response and that it could not provide a secure connection. What is going on?

This looks great but I can't scroll down on the left side panel to look at all the options, say for example I wanted to look at all the Elements, it only goes so far to the Badges. I'm on a laptop and I've tried everything but I can't scroll down. Any ideas or tips?
Hm, you should definitely be able to scroll down. I've just tried it to verify there are no issues. Maybe try reloading the page, or checking a different browser? If you continue to have issues, go ahead and email us at info@heritagetype.com and we will look into it more!
Hi. Can i use or work on transparent background?
Hey there! Yes, you can select the artboard itself, and then you can turn off the color from the color panel on the right. You will see checkers on the board once you do this. OR, you can simple select "remove background" from the download button and it will make your design export transparent.
I am not seeing the same options on the website as this video, is it limited per account? I have the font bundle.
Hey Amanda! Kittl (formerly Heritage Designer) is our online web app for designing (it is not the same as our Heritage Type Co. store). You will find most of what we created is already in Kittl, but not everything. There is no limitation in terms of what is included, only in the features for the Free, Pro, and Expert account tiers (which you can find on your subscription page) :)
How do you scroll to see all the items in the design windows?
Hey John. Not sure which design items or window you are talking about, but were you maybe viewing on an iPad or mobile device? Heritage Designer is not optimized for that yet. If you were looking on your computer, you can zoom out of your art-board by hitting minus (-) and back in by hitting (+). If you mean the elements panel designs, you can click the arrow on the right side of the panel and it will expand the entire menu, then if you just want a specific category, click "show all". Hope this helps!
