FEAR's campaign was rather lengthy in my opinion and the story was there, it was up to the player to piece it together over how ever many times they play
weedwak COD will NEVER be as good as Halo. It's just a fact; there're too many things wrong with it. I just mentioned COD cause there are many Playstation fans who have sadly never played a good FPS (they might have only played Haze LOL) and so I didn't want to exclude them.
I remember playing FEAR in 2008 and I must say it's one of the most scariest FPS to date! over 10 years later and it's still an awesome game, with some of the best AI in a shooter period. you would think that after 12 years the AI would have made leap's and bounds in FPS games but it hardly did if at all. FEAR has some of the best jump scare's in gaming, trust me play at night with headphones and witness this old gaming gem for yourself if you haven't already. part 2 was also very good with some better pacing and variety in the stages as you progress. 2018 and I still rate FEAR a 9 out of 10. I would have given it a 10 if it had better graphics and variety in the campaign.
I have a question I keep trying to find fear but all I keep seeing is Fear Files if I buy Fear Files does it come with the original game and some extra content
Fear runs on the same engine as Condemned. Condemned is much slower paced and less chaotic than Fear allowing the consoles to push graphical fidelity farther. Play Fear on a PC, it looks great at 1440p/144fps.
One of the best, most underrated fps games of all time. Love it! Really cool story too.
It's honestly better than a lot of FPS titles nowadays.

Short campaign? Playing on extreme took me close to a week to finish.
If you want a modern F.E.A.R. game, check out Trepang 2. It's running on UE4 and it's basically a F.E.A.R. sequel

Love this game. The second is good too, but few games give you as much story-wise, even the giants like Halo and Gears of War.

FEAR Files doesn't come with the original. You need to buy both.
Fear and all it's expansions were just on sale on Steam. The bundle is still rather cheap, especially if you go through G2a.
