For me the 962 is probably all round the greatest car ever made. I was fortunate enough in the 90s to have a go in one round Donnington and it's an experience I'll never forget. The cacophony of sounds in the cockpit was like nothing I'd ever heard and it felt like you could hear every single moving part in the car. Brilliant.
The 962 is definitely up there with GT40s, 330s, F1 and so on 😃🤩👍. That was an incredible experience you got to do James :)
All cars mentioned are second to the 917 dynasty...... Greatest prototype of all time....

Yes, I still remember them at Le Mans in 1984, 1988 and at Mugello and Shah Allam in 1985.
But for a few spare £millions, I would own one!
The Porsche 935s and 936s at Le Mans in 1977 and 1979 were also stunning.
