Hello, the future here, after owning all of the original line I finally picked up a new model (HH in green) and wow. Different but amazing all the same. I just wanted to say that new or old you can’t go wrong with a revstar. Cheers.
I have the exact same guitar as yours. Same exact colour as well and I’ve bought it preowned. The previous owner changed it to a pair of Fender Blacktop Strat Humbuckers because he wants to keep the original Yamaha pickup for himself. I totally agree with what you commented on the 820CR. Absolutely loving it!
I bought RS-820CR last year and am planning to swap the nut. Do you think TUSQ nut is best suitable for this guitar? I am considering to adopt Bone nut.

Go for the 820. I have a 620, and the bridge is not on pair with the rest of the guitar.

Hi Nobu! I prefer Tusq over bone but i guess that’s a matter of taste:)
this or the much cheaper rs620? is there really a huge difference between the two?
To be honest i would go with the one that you like the most. It’s pretty much the same guitar with a different bridge.
