Mariana, youre videos are so inspiring! Thank you for being such an elegant, traditinal, gracious, feminine, graceful lady. You embody the elegance of Grace Kelly in everyway! Praying for you and your family always💖🥰🙏
Thank you Mariana for all these wonderful fashion hacks, your tips are always practical and classy.❤ One of my favorite accessories is hats. I use different types for different seasons when my hair is not cooperating and I need to go out to run errands and I don’t have enough time to fix my hair. It also covers the frizziness of my hair.😊
Mariana, could you talk about when it would be too much accessories, if it is even possible to talk about it... I know it depends on personal style, character, on the size and style of the accessories... (age? omg, I never thought I am too old for anything fashionable until I started watching YT tips, what all mature women shouldn't wear!). I think maybe I tend to accessorize a little too much because I adore jewelry, handbags, shoes, scarves... I've noticed that some women don't wear necklaces if they have bigger earrings... I love your videos, Mariana, and I love watching you because you remind me so much of the beautiful Audrey Hepburn, who for me is the goddess of femininity.
My staple are golden watches. They have a similar effect to gold bracelets. Also, simple pearl earrings are very classy, and they aren't "too much." I have pearl earrings in peacock color, and they are perfect.
I agree with everything except for the red nail polish. When went to finishing school, we were detered from having red nail polish. Always clear or light pink/ fleshy tones
I agree and disagree both. Finishing nails in flesh tone is totally classic. But, for a dressy occasion, classic red works perfectly. Not blue, not ombre’, not neon.
Nice video Mariana. Since I always wear jewelry and watch I never consider them as my accessories. Head bands I wear only when I wash my face. Belts for me are now a necessity to hold in my tummy., and I usually wear them with my pants under my tops. Scarves I love and have many in different size, style, fabric to suit different weather, occasion, or outfit. Red nails I love and wear sometimes. I think for me scarves and handbags are my true accessories.
Such a great video as always! What about making a video for tweed, or pleated skirts/dresses? Oh, and a video for brown colored outfits! Autumn is coming!
Accessories look great on you! I feel better wearing no jewelry or earrings, au naturel i guess, but my designer handbags yes!! At 68, I have quite a collection and love rings and scarves.
I can’t wait to start wearing my autumn wardrobe, but autumn weather here in California doesn’t start until around November 1. Then, it only lasts a month, December, our coldest month, is full winter here. I’m starting now to wear my lighter-fabric, but autumn-feeling or -color, items now, but the weather is in the 80sF and could get as hot as 110F (I really hope not! I’m so tired of the heat, which I always really hate, by this time of year). At least the morning coolness lasts about an hour longer now, and it cools down an hour earlier at night.
I’m Southern California and I just bought a pullover sweater during vacation. I had two dueling viewpoints going on in my head. The first, “you bought several sweaters two years ago during that actual cold winter!” The second, “but it’s orange and I don’t have an orange sweater! And Frank Sinatra agrees with me that orange is the happiest color!” Me and Frank won the internal argument 😂
I love silk scarves, they add color, pattern, softness and elegance to any simple outfit. They also provide the necessary skin protection for my super-sensitive neck skin under my cashmere and wool sweaters and dresses. (If I don’t want to wear one with a particular patterned sweater, I wear a silk turtleneck neck instead, but I do wear scarves much more). I love them as a visual addition to outfits for autumn, winter and spring, but they are too hot for most summer weather here in California. I have been wearing them for four decades, “trending” or not, so I have a big collection. I have all price points, from Amazon or H&M to designer ones. So let’s long as they are 100% mulberry silk, I don’t care about the brand status, just their colors and patterns and function in my wardrobe. My current favorites are a black and brown stripes, on an ivory background, from Amazon, and my Woodland print burgundy/khaki green/soft white one from Aspinal of London, two different ends of the price scale. My ivory and khaki green stripe from Toteme is a favorite, too, I wear a lot of khaki green. Thanks for another great video, Mariana❤
I belong in the more casual classic style - based on my personal sartorial style and my location of Southern California. So, statement jewelry is a bit “much” for me personally. But, you always look so fabulous!👏👏👏 My must have accessory is the memorial necklace that I had made after my father died. It’s not elegant - actually, slightly industrial looking, but I feel naked without it.
Great picks Mariana, I totally agree with these but never thought about the whole category. When you took off the earrings it was very dramatic. I think a red lipstick is one of those things too and an over-sized ring can also work in a similar way, just not all together but as a statement piece.
Great accessories, I’m using all of these except red nails. Can’t put nice code of nail colour, I’m always making mistakes and my nails are sooo short that I end up painting fingers 😂 Your choices are always so classy. I just recently bought bracelet from Italian brand Nominations. It’s one of the link bracelets and it’s absolutely not classy, quite an opposite but I love any jewelry that you can put some meaning to it. Symbolic statement and memorable moments. It’s going to be one trashy piece in my collection. lol
Hi Mariana! Love all the accessories ideas. Out of all of them the gold earrings made the largest impact instantly! Question: are you filming some extra videos and saving them to release to your channel for after you give birth? I know it will be months before you will feel like you have any time for filming. When I had my baby I didn't even know which end was up for at least 4 months. I watch a channel on yt and the lady banked some videos for her post delivery. Best wishes! Such a beautiful time in your life. 😊
Love all the tips! I always feel my face looks too big with the headbands lol. They look great on you😍. Can you please share your lip color, so lovely?
It’s my favorite from Essie (Gel Couture in shade Rock The Runway + gel top coat)! Here’s the link if you’re interested: rstyle.me/+VLCf6gc_QtI09_DVRFLA-g
It's from Massimo Dutti's collection from last year, so I don't think it's available anymore 😕 But I did find this one at Nordstrom with a similar hammered effect: rstyle.me/+1vdSwaxi7XZ50wpH-f25-Q Hope this helps ;)
Are you ever going to show us what you look like pregnant? You’re so pretty. I took only one or two pictures when I was pregnant because I was so big I am 5 foot two and I weighed 110 when I got pregnant. I got up to 150. I had a really healthy baby boy it took me a while to lose all the weight, but I did it in about a year. I wished I had taken more pictures.

What a big difference with or without the earrings! Great tips, thanks👍🏼
Isn’t it incredible?! Whenever I feel like I’m not looking my best, adding this type of earrings solves the problem 99% of the time 😌
Thank you Mariana for all these wonderful fashion hacks, your tips are always practical and classy.❤

Yeeeees!!! A beret to prevent frizz on rainy days is a great trick!!
Your way of talking is very informative and you have a great sense of humour. 🥰

Absolutely!!! A red lip would totally make this list, Maggie!

Agata, if it makes you happy and has sentimental value, it’s not trashy!
Always love your videos and can’t wait to meet your baby.❤
Lipstick!

Pearl necklacae
Such a great video. Where is your kaftan from and what nail polish are you wearing? Not the red polish.
Hi Prue! It's called "Elegance" by Mavala... great shade for a post-summer tan ☺️
Where did you purchase your gold cuff? Great video ! Thumbs up 😊
