The Little Mermaid: anyone ever thought that Ariel didn’t know how to write ‘human’? I know she signs the contract with Ursula but could have been illiterate by human standards. She didn’t know what some of the things were like a ‘fork’….
I came here to say this, if you're gonna base your video's thumbnail on this one, it had better be a good one. But he addressed it, the characters _talk_ to each other with no _language_ barrier! Yeah? That still doesn't mean their writing systems are identical. And how is she supposed to "walk around with a pad and pen"? She comes to the shore with literally nothing, not even "the clothes on her back" cliché. Everything she has, the prince gave to her. If Eric never gives her something to write with or on, then she never has anything. Anyhow, the point is, when characters don't think of the same solution you did, that's not a plot hole; that just means the characters didn't think of it. (And this is ignoring the possible seafolk and human writing differences.)
@@Wendy_O._Koopa it's sure possible that merfolk and humans use different form of writing. ofc this could have been easily cleared up by Ariel writing something into the sand, just for eric not understanding it. it's literaly 20sec of extra time. but on the other side, it is still a movie aimed at kids. so maybe they just thought kids wont ecognize. at least I didn't bother when I was little
@@calronkeltaran493 To me a plot hole has to be a _lot_ bigger than "the characters on screen didn't try this thing I thought of." Hindsight is 20/20, Ariel is probably kicking herself too for not thinking of writing something, and at least _checking_ if the writing systems were the same. A plot hole is more like Steve Rogers’ Time-Traveling Paradox in *Avengers: Endgame* where it breaks all the rules previously established for no good reason. Also, with no explanation that I'm aware of.
@@Wendy_O._Koopa Agree! And being that she didn’t know human stuff, I doubt off-hand she would’ve known what they were for. That meant slowing the storyline for Eric to show Ariel how to use a pad and paper. I know they can sign their name and read but you hardly see the merfolk writing things. One could even make an argument knowing how to read doesn’t mean knowing how to write.
@@MsMichelleHW To build on that as well, the contract Ariel signed was on some sort of magical glowy parchment that appeared and disappeared from seemingly nothing. Paper doesn't survive long in the ocean, nor does pen ink, so the concept of either would be completely alien to Ariel. To compound the problem, paper and ink weren't common commodities at that time, nor was the ability to read. Granted, Eric being a prince would likely grant him easier access to those resources, as well as the education to read, but why would he assume that the random mute girl he found on the beach could read or write, especially when she couldn't even speak? Considering the fact that even medical professionals of the time considered being mute to be equivalent to being too stupid to use language, it's entirely possible - and actually likely - that the royal family doctor would have concluded that she was incapable of reading or writing due to her condition.
So, Ariel wouldn't know how to ask for paper and a pen as she wouldn't know what they were, Eric wouldn't offer them assuming she couldn't read or write, and even the doctors of the time would conclude that her muteness meant she wasn't smart enough to do either anyway. At no point would even the possibility of her writing a letter ever be considered by anyone involved.
That transformers "I'm not a robbot" recaptcha bit got me 😂!
The decepticons don’t give 2 micro cycles about us meat sacks, so why bother with the meat sack creations?
that could have been a great element if used in the movie, i mean they where aliens and probably could had believe this was some sort of security feature to prevent alien species from purchasing earthling stuff. They probably thought if they lie some scanner will pop up and report them to the internet police xD

I love how in Gremlins 2, they actually joked about the eating rule. One of the funniest parts was when the guards asked the Main Character, "What happens if food gets stuck between his teeth, and then it turns midnight, and he eats that piece that was stuck?" 🤣🤣
also, just how far After midnight we talking? i always wondered if the main was just supposed to, i don't know, let the poor critter starve? because Technically, Any time that's Not 11;59pm is "After Midnight."
[edit]
_p.s. i Know that's a semi-colon. i didn't want the time stamp feature to pop n be a pita._ X3
For the toy story one, remember, he thinks he is on a different planet, where the people panic and try to go limp before the giant person goes into the room. Would you do the thing other people are doing and have been doing to be ok or continue moveing and possibly being hurt.
Yep
My head cannon was that the whole believing they are actually Space Rangers is an oddity specific to the Buzz Lightyear line, something to do with the way they are manufactured. They seem to be the only toys with that problem.
No. because my first question would be is why is everyone doing this? Woody never explained to buzz why everyone goes limp every time a human comes into a room. And in buzz's perspective if humans came into the room he would see them as a threat and try fight them off.
He actually sees going limp in front of Humans to be a "part of their culture"
He actually sees going limp in front of Humans as "a part of their culture"
I like how Gremlins addresses these in the very self aware sequel
Its also showed in Transformers the last knight that Bumblebee fought in WW2, but in Bumblebee 2018 he has only been on earth since the 80s
I didn't even read your comment but the fact that the first topic and your name match is so cool
There is now a cartoon-Gremlins that I was surprised it was pretty good) it goes pretty well into the backstory of the Mogwi (spelling).
Well they did mention it like "what if they cross a time zone on a plane" or "what if they have food stuck in their teeth that they swallow after midnight." But we still don't have any answers!
Bumblebee 2018 is actually the first movie in the transformers reboot so it’s not in the same timeline as The Last Knight
@@JakeMurangi4260 Thanks!
Okay, Thanos can't possibly do a proper fingersnap with a gauntlet on... except, y'know *INFINITY GAUNTLET POWERS* !! If you can magic away half the universe, faking a simple noise so your brag doesn't go lame would be a snap!
He’s got the reality stone. He can will the sound of a snap into existence
At least he can snap his fingers, even if it's not realistic due to his gauntlet. I cannot snap my fingers at all. :(
What if it doesn't need to make the sound? What if he just needs to try? It's really more of a gesture of intentionality.
@user-nx9nx1ge1x that's what I was assuming it was. More symbolic. Like he could've just as well used the "shocked" hand sign and gotten the same result. Like how he used it every other time he just closed his hand and the stone/stones he wanted to use would activate
😂 Oh snap!
Regarding that star-wars scene: Why do they need fuel? Just start the thrusters or whatever then turn them off, this will propell the vessel forward as they are in space...
Ha! logic in a Star Wars movie. XD
True, why do they need fuel in real life even without fuel they will float,so all need is the small thrust from the thrusters
I'm pretty sure The Last Jedi is the only film in the entire saga that even mentions spaceship fuel. And it mentions it a lot.
What's really going to blow ur mind and I can't remember if they have them. If they use space fuel to thrust forward, how do they slow down unless they have them all over to thrust in reverse. Not to mention they'd need space fuel to move in all directions. Also in warp drive, how do they manage to keep from hitting space debris or asteroids

With Harry Potter, it's actually stated in the book that Harry had his eyes closed when Cedric was hit with the killing curse, meaning he didn't actually witness his death. Just thought it was too interesting to not mention.
This is part of why GoF is one of my least favorite movie adaptations. It has been revealed since then that the director of the movie had never read the books, and when he was given the book with the suggestion of reading it, he disregarded the advice and got his inspirations for the film from much older movies.
Since it's an "understanding of death," couldn't people see thestrals with a biology class or being emo or something?
@@LordSpiffy No, the books are very clear that you have to be able to witness and understand death in order to see them. The movies really skimmed over the threstral cannon. I don't believe animals count, it has to be humans
Then wouldn't that be a plot hole with the thestrals?
He still understood what happened was aware of the green flash
Be amazed is my most favorite youtuber.I have been watching him since 2019.❤
With Saw I always thought there was NO WAY - especially as a doctor - that he wouldn't know he only needed to cut off the heel of his foot, not the whole thing.
I never thought of that, good point 😊
Same gist with The Walking Dead. Why did Merle lop off the entire hand? Seems it would have been easier, and less time, to just take a thumb and a finger.
@@rumham7466 for twd i dont think he even needed to do that. he just had to dislocate his thumb or break it to make it move enough to slide them off.
@@mitchyitchy3 yea! I was going to say that too but got distracted and had to end comment lol. But yea. He could have just done that as well. When I squeeze my hand, and squeeze my thumb and pinky towards each other, my hand gets the same width as my wrist. Guess that would have been less shock for Daryl though haha.
I've never watch the movie but is the reason he couldn't just cut the chain with the saw?
There's nothing worse than sitting through something and hearing someone nearby going "Well that doesn't make sense"... then realising it's Yourself that said it 🤦🏻♀️🤣🤣 Plot holes can be really annoying 😮😂😂
😄
The saw one bothers me too! Aside from not trying to reach the phone with the saw, he could have used it to cut the pipe he was shackled to lol
Or he could've used an article of clothing to snare the phone.
Yea, I always thought that too, as that's the very type of saw used to cut pipes with. But~, they just had to introduce the movie as being gory and bloody, I think.
He could have cut his shackles as well. My question is: why didn't he just use the phone to call for help earlier?
I've never seen Saw, and how have there not been a million jokes about how stupid this scene is? Or have there been, and I've just missed them all, because I'm not in the "Saw fandom"? Like, there are hundreds, if not thousands of much better solutions available... one might think the man _wanted_ to cut his own leg off, and was looking for _any_ excuse possible.
@@brycetonbennett9346 I think it’s stated in the movie that the phone is only used for receiving calls, not making them. Otherwise, the point of being trapped in the bathroom would’ve completely fallen apart.
Definitely need to do more of these
My theory for gremlins "don't feed after midnight" rule, actually is don't feed them before bed. If they sleep after eating they will start their cocoon process.
I always tell my wife that I blame Captain Marvel for Ironman’s demise because at one point she had the gauntlet in her hands and could’ve used it without harming herself
I just realized that I hate Captain Marvel now. Thank you. (Btw I'm not being sarcastic)
8:15 He had the reality stone. And besides, snapping is probably just the gesture and the same affect probably could’ve been achieved by clapping, waving, or basically anything else.
Plus snapping probably looks cooler than clapping.
Could've flipped a bird.
The shocker
And if you listen in endgame, it’s a clank not a hollow snapping noise
The poster in Shawshank.... maybe gum stuck behind the poster or rolled up tape inside out 😅 ... that's my thoughts..
Small weights taped to the bottom. To be heavy enough to stand up to the poster being punched, though?
🤔
@@CharityAngelSpectrumthats always been my awnser... Tie a weight to the bottom to make it hold in place
I thought rolled-up tape as well, but it would still require some pressure applied from inside the cell.
ya double sided tape not that hard to figure out lol
Solution to Shawshank: double-sided tape. Or tape bent to make both sides sticky.
Or he could have just taped some rocks to the bottom corners of the poster.
The hole is too small to turn around. Hero faces forward, the entry is behind. There's no way to close it...alone.😢
@@Blkdog200 Tape it on top, place double sided tape on the bottom and crawl through. When you pass through the picture falls into place and the double sided tape hits the wall. This would be easily doable.
@@kirkmerrill1560 without pressure, or access to stupidity sticky adhesive, you wouldn't get the same result.
Since the story is from Morgan's perspective at that point its more likely someone helped him that Morgan doesn't know.
@@Blkdog200 Jake, the crow helped him! 😊
@11:30 We could use more “Buzzkill Man” lol 😅😂
*BUZZKILL MAN*
So we are not going to talk about how the whole Venom movie franchise happened because a bloke with a fire extinguisher managed to break a reinforced bullet proof glass just because the plot needed him to?
Or that Thor took a deep breath in the vacuum of space to restart a star to make his axe?
No? Ok.
This can be a full series. Movie blunders are everywhere.
Plotholes are something that can't be avoided or explained. But just because they're there doesn't mean we have to acknowledge them every time. Sometimes it's best to just enjoy the films, without getting too deep into it.
We call that lazy writing.
@@PikaLink91 You watch enough films, you'll find that every film has at least one pothole. We as viewers just choose to ignore them.
I mean some can be interesting to think about@@joeleboeuf
@@joeleboeufwell that’s ur opinion
@@joeleboeuf No, when i watch a movie and i see something that makes no sense i would like an explanation on it. By your logic you know the elephant is in the room, yet you choose to ignore it just because.
What a funny episode!😂 loved it! Keep up with your great work!!!
There are far bigger plot holes in other films. "Back To The Future 2" could have been entirely avoided if the Doc had just gone to the future himself and told Marty that his kid would rob a bank a week before hand. This would leave 80's Marty still at home in the 80's. No sports almanac, no Biff becoming rich, and no "Back To The Future 3".
Since "Infinity War" was brought up numerous times, Thanos could have been easily defeated by Dr. Strange when they were on Titan. During the scene where Spiderman and Iron Man were trying to take the glove off while Thanos was sedated, Dr. Strange could have simply opened a portal around the glove, then closed the portal, effectively severing Thanos' entire hand...Just like Dr. Strange had done earlier in the film to one of Thanos' henchman.
BTTF2 is even worse. Given Doc's explanation of timelines, old Biff couldn't have brought the car back to his original timeline.
After giving the almanach to his younger self, traveling back to the same date would have led him to the new timeline where he's ultra-rich.
That's a very common plot hole in time travel movies: you impact the past, but somehow the impact only affects things down the line after events are also "resolved" in the future.
In my opinion, this works in two special cases: 1. when you travel to the past but keep a link to your original timeline (e.g. X-Men Days of Future Past) or 2. when the time travel power or device allows for timeline hopping and not just forward/backward movement (e.g. arguably the Infinity Stone of Time).
The time machine of BTTF most definitely doesn't qualify for either case as explained by its inventor himself. (Admittedly he could be wrong, but the rest of the script does match his explanations.)
Actually, what Doc should've done was told 1985 Marty not to race Needles, and to stop getting worked up over being called chicken, because it'll cause him serious problems in the future. OR, if the first half of part 2's events still happened, since Marty already knew about the Cubs winning the World Series, then he should've just done what the old guy suggested - bet money on the Cubs.
13:20 I loved when Nostalgia Critic reviewed this movie years ago and he got to this plotpoint. He outright yelled; "Why would the aliens invade a planet MOSTLY COVERED IN WATER!!!!!!!" in his iconic girlish scream.
It's something I've been wondering ever since the movie first released. And I never even saw the movie.
Plot holes are the worst
FR 😭
if you mean because the one who made this clip then yes I don’t sure I can watch those movies as same as before or not. like if we really need to think about this when watching movies?
In Spider Man I always thought that Dr. Strange would have been smart enough to ask him to specify exactly what he wanted from the spell before starting. Even if he didn't, after being interrupted the first time, stop and work out exactly what he wanted, and tell Peter, the consequences of what he's asking. "You realize that if we do this, none of your friends will know you, and you're not including your family, etc. Are you sure? Is there anyone else before I start the spell again?"
electro one was already explained in the movie, he was stuck in the grid absording data, so its very possible for him to discover his identity
Good answer.
But he wasn't. He was after electrical power throughout the entire original movie, not information. They blatantly retconned it in No Way Home.
One that I think was problematic was with Thanos killing Gamora. He loved his plan more than he loved her, as he proved when he threw her, so he shouldn't have received the soul stone.
In order to obtain it, he had to give up that which he loved the most. That part was pretty straight forward, actually. Although, I get tired of seeing occultism in tons of movies. Why does it always narrow down to a human sacrifice or blood sacrifice? smh
@@nerdofgames1608 You're right!
His plan was a necessary evil that he saw to save the universe... Sociopaths don't necessary love the things they do, just view them as the right thing to do.
The real plot hole is that as he snaps to erase half of every living thing, he could just snap to create the livestock and resources to keep up with the demand.
@@DaniQuinonezL Woooow yeees.
Regarding the “signs” plot hole: Do you know in advance what you are allergic to? For example: if you are allergic to bees you must have been stung at least once. So the aliens couldn't know that water has these effect on them before they get in contact with it. And if there is water on their planet it has to be completly diffrent to the water on our planet, Regarding the contained bacteria etc.
I was going to reply with the same type of theory. The girl states in the movie, she doesn't want to drink their water because of Ameba's being in the water. Unless the aliens previously tested Earth's water, they wouldn't know what's in our planets water. Just like the original Alien takeover movie from the 50s War of the Worlds. The aliens died as soon as they exited their ships as for microbes in our air we breath.
Yeah but they mastered interstellar travel meaning this is probably not the first foreign planet they visited, if they were that advanced logically they would wear protection of some kind being prepared for anything.
@@sparkyskullz7230if everywhere you went, you didn’t need protective gear because there was nothing that could hurt you, why would you suddenly think that you need protection for this part?
Another youtube video theorized that the aliens were actually demons, and the glasses of water were holy water. Hence the reason Mel Gibson's character renewed his faith
nice Idea but still questionable. we can conduct what planets seem save or unsave while they are lightyears away from us but an advanced alien race, who has mastered interstellar travel somehow encounters water for the first time and can't find out that it may be dangerous to their body? that is still a big pill to swallow
One of the biggest plot holes I’ve seen in many movies is everyone’s super clean white straight teeth. No matter it’s post apocalyptic where toothpaste and toothbrushes don’t exist 🤦🏼♂️
you dont need toothpaste and toothbrush to clean your teth. Cetain reeds will do the same thing
Maybe Buzz went lifeless because he thought the humans were potentially hostile aliens? Or it might be instinct, something he doesn't think about, just does. That's my wild mass guessing.
Sooo amazing dude Best video yet

I am willing to suspend my disbelief and just assume that the infinity gauntlet is made from some alien material that allowed Thanos to make sound while snapping his fingers, it changes size to fit its wearer after all, rather than thinking its construction is similar to thimbles and a latex glove and going "tHiS IS iMpoSsiBLe".
Thanos himself is also insanely strong so he could possibly be able to exert enough pressure pushing his thumb and middle fingers together to cause friction.
It’s made from uru, the same thing as the Hammer. Thanos did crush his uru helmet with no effort, which means he could probably also bend and manipulate it.
With Ant man...he does not necessarily maintain his strength and mass when he is small. When he attacks, he basically resizes so fast it doesn't even look like he changed sizes .He goes into full-size mode when punching and then immediately goes back to small size to avoid being hit.
Not true. The movie explicitly states that the Pym particle reduces the distance between the molecules so that a person can shrink without losing their mass and strength.
And even if not, your explanation makes no sense. If he could expand and contract so quickly, he would always do so - why should there be different speeds here? And IF there was this “fast” transformation at the same time as the “normal, slow” transformation, they would have explained it in one of the movies.
And IF he really can grow and shrink THAT fast, math is fun again:
If he gets big and small again for less than a 24th of a second (that's how fast it has to happen so it doesn't show up in the 24 frames per second of a movie), we can do the math like this: It goes from about 1 cm to about 180 cm in a maximum of half a frame (the other half frame to become small again). This corresponds to 1.8 meters in a 48th of a second (0.021 seconds), or 86.4 meters in one second. This corresponds to 311.04 km/h or 193.27 mph. So even if he did NOT jump forward (as seen at 5:34), he would hit him with his entire body at AT LEAST 200 mph at face level, which would be unpleasant for both of them (although much more unpleasant for the bad guy).
And since we see such hits multiple times, we can assume that the big-small transformation is even faster, because that's far more likely than him taking exactly 23.99 frames each time and us not seeing it at 24 frames each time.
Furthermore, just shrinking at SUCH a speed would create a considerable vacuum every time.... Or when enlarging (e.g. in small, closed rooms) a non-negligible overpressure.
You can argue as you like: Ant-Man makes no sense in the movie with mass conservation/non-conservation.
if the characters in the saw movie took into account logical thinking, it would be a very short film
For the saw one, not only did the DOCTOR not use the saw to reach for the phone, he had the foresight to tourniquet himself but not to use the shirt to pull the phone closer 😆
For Toystory, how about this plot hole: When Buzz "flies" for the first time, he leaps from the bed, onto and off a ball, lands on a racecar track, gets launched into the air, and spins around tethered to a toy plane before landing back on the bed. All with his eyes closed.
The "eyes closed" was part challenge/part plot convenience because... how in the hell did he pull that off?!
You can argue he's the best of the best of the StarCommand, so he's got skills but...
1)He should have been expecting extreme G-Forces from his thrusters.
2)He should have noticed the changes in gravitational pull as he hit the ball and flipped as he bounced off.
3)He had no way of knowing *exactly* where everything was on the "uncharted planet" so he was performing "Die in a firey crash." levels of "Rookie Hotdogging" by flying with his eyes closed. (His suit probably had "instruments" he was relying on, but he was a toy so they didn't work.)
4)How did he gain enough thrust from the track to go all the way to the ceiling? (A feat that's never done again, by the way.)
5)How, exactly, did he get attached to the plane and turn it on in the first place?
And 6)The track was skinny and in a loop-de-loop formation. Even if the loop was spread out far enough that his body wouldn't hit it and knock him to the ground, his "impressive wingspan" definitely should have hit something!

Isn’t it obvious? Hank maybe an old man, but he’s still buff af
Add in that he never claims it is a real tank just that they can use it to get out. It may well have been a keychain decoration that he expanded. (But then we have to ask how a lightweight plastic tank was able to break through the wall.)
The bigger issue is how can they ride on ants if they weigh so much and easily change direction when they are small which would become really clumsy and slow. You wouldn't even be able to jump that high or far let alone fly through the air. x:x
Actually the T Rex taken to California is the father I think
It is.
As a kid in theaters watching Jurassic Park 2, I distinctly remember Shao Kahn showing up at the end, and Raiden saying "I don't think so!," as techno plays and our heroes strike a pose.
But everywhere I ask, I'm somehow the only one who remembers this.
Mandela Effect: confirmed !
Yeah.
Saw that in a science program on PBS when I was a kid.
They talked about how, if you removed all the spaces between the atoms of the Empire State Building, it would be the size of a sewing needle.
But it would _weigh_ exactly the same as the giant building.
I just want to say your videos are always amazing (pun intended) keep up the good work(^.^)

When I read the title, I thought it was going to be compilation of big pot-holes.
same, I thought the starwars one was the only big one. I overlook minor plot holes especially if I am enjoying the movie, but that starwars one bothered me while I was watching the movie. I am thinking how the heck can they go do a side quest while being in a chase?
You always bring the best stories with engaging voice actors. Another winner. Now back to tonight's feature presentation.
Signs- They were not Aliens. They were Demons. It wasn't JUST water. IT was blessed by Dad's "Little Angel" taking a sip from it and leaving multiple glasses all over the place at their home.
Interesting take. I'm terrified by aliens but somehow the idea that these could be demons is almost more terrifying. Either way, how did other people manage to defeat the demons without their own blessed waters?
@@ndsn96 To be honest, it wasn't my take. I just realized how complete it was. From what I recall, the story is mostly told from the family's point of view.
How are things resolved elsewhere? I do not think it was really seriously considered.
And a name like "Signs" almost sounds more religious than an interstellar one.
@@DavidAmrod For me, I think for the family it was a matter of watching the signs, that's why they named it signs. His wife's last words, his brother's story about the puke and his way of playing baseball, the weird tic his daughter has even the sons asthma, were all connected. I thought the storyline was more based on how a man lost his faith because he was too traumatized by losing his wife and not understanding why such a terrible thing would happen to him, once the aliens invaded all those terrible things and their struggles played a part in how they escaped and lived, and once he realized that everything happens for a reason, even bad things, his faith was restored and they lived more normal lives. I do think that this video should not have included signs as having a plot hole cuz in the movie the military guy says that this was a recon party checking things out, and in nowhere it says that the aliens are highly intelligent creatures, we also went to the moon and have telescopes that can see super far, but we haven't even cured aids, cancer or explored the entirety of the ocean.. and there's lots of reasons why our water could be bad for them, as much as we think that water is all part of life, we really don't know, and we don't know if the creatures and pathogens, or even ph in our waters would be the same as the water out there in the universe. I really don't think there's anything wrong with this movie people just need to use their imagination and little bit of science knowledge.
It wasn't the sound of the snap that caused the heroes to dissappear it was all the stones cathered together
It was the Motion not the noise
I agree Last Jedi was horrendous.
Rise of Skywalker ticked me off...Reylo didn't need to happen, in my opinion.
Though it was funny that I actually wrote a somewhat AU where Kylo became Supreme Leader after betraying Snoke (I never really went into detail on it - it was just my own kinda deal and like most stories of mine, it was eventually scrapped due to lack of inspiration / motivation to continue), and there he was as such in the actual film, LOL. I hated his constant interactions with Rey, though.
No, it’s the best
It's an ignorant movie, filled with writers totally ignorant of Star Wars, and if you say anything truthful about it, everyone calls you an istaphobe. It's cancer. And so are they.
I always love to snap along with the very end of each of these videos. It's fun trying to do it at exactly the right second!
Thanos plan never made sense. It's the doubling jar problem, he may have removed half the people but in a generation or two the population will be back to what it was.
He had the power to literally change the laws of the universe but a mind so small he couldn't put together that he could have just made infinite recourses and world's instead of snapping away half the population.
seriously... the only way it would work is if he got rid of either all the women or all the men... even Then, cloning is still a thing.
Also, if he eliminates "half of all life", he's also eliminating half of the food resources. (We don't eat rocks, after all.) Same problem, but on a smaller scale.
Why couldn't Peter write a list of people that he wanted to remember him before doing the spell? Think before you act
I also hate how surprised he was when strange told him everyone would forget. Like Peter asked for a spell that makes everyone forget, strange says “alright, everyone will forget you are spider man” and suddenly Peter is surprised “wait everyone’s gonna forget me!?” That never made sense because he asked for it and suddenly he’s surprised

In Signs, you could argue the aliens didn’t know water was harmful to them because water in its liquid state is actually very rare throughout the universe
Actually it's not. And besides, as much as human science knows, life without water is impossible. I doubt they had liquid methane flowing in their veins.
It absolutely is? What system or planet has been discovered that has water in it’s LIQUID STATE?
@@shoshonnie7796 At our own solar system are three bodies that have liquid water. Earth, Jupiter moon Europa and Saturn's moon Enceladus. Mars had liquid water in the past. Probably Venus too before greenhouse effect took over.
That doesn’t defeat the argument that it is still very rare
Maybe it's not water but Flint Michigan water.
The Sign also had a major weakness. If the aliens are weak to H2O, then does this mean they die to water vapor too? About 0.04% of the atmosphere is H2O as vapor. So won't the aliens die immediately after they open their spaceship?
Maybe electro was always where no way home happens
LOL the toys and toy story couldn't go lifeless just because they have to because, if I remember correctly, there have been many times where there's been scenes where they do go lifeless, but they're still slightly moving their heads around and talking to each other
Also that whole scene in the first one when they reveal themselves to be alive to that bully in the end, causing him to fear toys. Man, that is a whole sequel stand alone film right there that they missed; I would have loved to see the aftermath and paranoid life he would have lived after that movie.
Like in 2 when Wheezy is taken by Andy's mon.
@@meh2510 he became the garbo in toy story 3
t-rex walks past the cage he was in - they gave him too much drugs to counter the sedative, he woke up, killed the crew then i assume someone locked him in the cargo hold before popping their clogs too. cargo hold was full of shit i dont think he was there in the first place especially not in a cage which once again can be seen on the deck 1:09
You could have solved the Buzz problem with something like: He has side effects from all the space travel that manifests itself as random teleportations. That would explain "waking up" in different locations.
also in saw, (correct me if im wrong its been a while since ive seen it) he still tried to save his family after hearing gunshots and assuming them already dead. and it wouldve actually been easier to saw through the metal cuffs on his ankles then sawing trough the bone in his ankle.
Which movie
Love your video Be Amazed and keep up the great work you are awesome and I agree with you
why did i completely predict saw's plot hole despite not seeing any parts of the movie
because obvious things tend to be... well... Obvious. X)
The problem with Shawshank Redemption isn’t the poster. It’s that there is no way Andy could have survived going through the sewer drain.
Couldn't the other antman be hank pym himself? Seeing that he was the original antman
Or Bill Foster, but IIRC in Ant-Man and the Wasp both say that becoming a giant was very energy consuming and neither can maintain the form for more than 5 minutes, 6 tops.
hadn't thought of that. the original was helping the 2nd . don't see why not. everyone had been brought back .
That was my thoughts exactly
10:06 fr 😭
HELLO ! Be Amazed! Long time watcher. Lol. Frig I Love your Commtery!! 😂😂😂
The saw in the final clip in this video is a saw that is used for sawing through metal so the guy could have used the saw to saw the chains instead of sawing his body part
because the hacksaw blade wouldve gone blunt before he was even half way through then he would be cuttin his foot off with a dull blade.
Yesterday I watched your video about donut holes. Today, plot holes. A hole lot of AMAZING info, indeed! 💙
The thanos thing is stupid.
He doesn't NEED to snap his fingers to activate the stones or the glove.
It is how he erases half of the universe in the comics, but in that version of the story, Nebula gets the gauntlet off his hand and undoes everything Thanos did. And, as she says herself, she can change anything she wants with just a thought. So Hulk shouldn't have needed to snap his fingers either.
yup. he was just being a jack ass n showboating there.
Biggest plot hole for me in Harry Potter: why not using the time turner to save Harrys parents? Or to stop Voldemort when he was still a little kid with no real power?
This is simple. Events can't be changed without causing unforeseen problems, so if they were dead, they couldn't be made alive through a time turner as the event is unavoidable. Even if it was possible, iirc, by the time they were found, it was too late as time turners have a limited time frame from when it can be activated.
There is actually a kung fu panda 4 plot hole in kung fu panda 4 which is this the Chameleon says she always wanted to learn kung fu but couldn't since she was told she was too small but that doesn't make sense cause in kung fu panda secret of the scrolls which is a mini movie and a prequel to kung fu panda 1 as mantis was able to learn kung fu even though he was small and the Chameleon must have known about tai lung since she turned into him so she must have also known about mantis or any other small master right and mention that they are small and they were able to learn kung fu in result giving a mental slap in the face to the ones that reject her in the first place like oh your right they are small then already we will teach you then as we didn't consider them at the start and if that happened the things in the movie didn't need to happen at all.
Lord Shen was not a kung fu master, so why did Chameleon summon him?
@dshadows2966 I have no idea I guess something happened in the spirit world for something to change
Keep up the GREAT work!🎉
The first Jurassic Park movie has one part that I am not a fan of. The T-Rex enclosure went from flat ground to a long drop, it ticks me off to no end
We have known the logical answer to this for years, it is from a scene that was never shot and therefore is not in the movie
The script said that the T-Rex had pushed the car a little more to the left where the floor of the enclosure ended and therefore there is a deep drop down
For whatever it's worth, Signs was originally meant to be more religious, with the aliens supposed to be demons, and the water poured by a former minister would be holy water. As such, the "aliens" weren't vulnerable to water, but the "demons" were vulnerable to holy water. This fits in more with the themes of faith and serendipity, that there is a purpose even if we don't recognize it at the time.
I’m just going to say it. Harry Potter movies are NOWHERE near as good as the books, so I’m not surprised that they created that plot hole in the movie adaptation, the earlier movies tried to stick closely to the books but the movie adaptation of goblet of fire was almost disappointing
Lol i watched 1 to 4 and gave up , read the books
Ohhhh yes Goblet of Fire was disappointing , how Harry found the clues , describing how they danced during the ball , how the names were put into the Goblet of fire
The Karate Kid plot hole exists because Johnny is reprimanded for a face shot during the final fight.
I love picking out the holes in movies.
10:07 that’s animated megatron
About THE LITTLE MERMAID... youre absolutely off there.. part of the deal was to NEVER TELL ERIC WHAT WAS GOING ON. Watch it again.
AGAIN?? Why are you so rude? What did he do to you?! shheeesh!
No, it wasn't. I've watched the 1989 version a dozen times. That is never part of the deal! The deal is only Ariel exchanging her voice for legs and kissing Eric within three days. What film were you watching? The plot hole was so egregious, it was actually fixed in the remake!
Been awhile since I saw the cartoon version, the live action version one had her forgetting what she was supposed to be doing in the time frame of when she was supposed to do it. But I don't remember that cartoon putting any restrictions beyond giving up her voice. Granted, if she did start writing out her story, Eric might have thought she was nuts and it might have complicated things more.
@@AngryChicKen-VIP is saying the word "again" rude now?
@@77above7 no! To ask him to watch the Little Mermaid again is. :P
Re: The Little Mermaid, there's nothing to suggest that Ariel knows how to write in Prince Eric's language.
Them having the same spoken language can be explained with simple proximity, generations of humans and merfolk listening to each other, but in the shipwrecks she explored, the only text that could've conceivably survived the saltwater long enough for her to find it would be the ships' names carved into their hulls; nowhere near enough for her to have learned to write full sentences that he'd be able to read.
after multiple rewatches it's plausible the "aliens" in signs were actually demons. fits with the faith theme. kind of a stretch but a popular theory.
I mean the guy is a priest, the aliens were seen all around and would have come across water at some point and don't seem afraid. It only makes sense that he prayed during the invasion creating a sense of holy water within the glasses. I don't see how people miss this
My guess about Buzz is, not only is he trying to figure out where he is, which explain why he'd copy the behavior of the "locals", but he's also never going to harm some children, no matter how unhuman they may look.
Edit: It seems like some people had that idea already.
Who loves Be Amazed♥️♥️👇
You’d be amazed how people like him
Good list! All these plot holes are inexcusable. Hollywood writers nowadays are incompetent.
Shawshank: The protagonist simply had to attach tape to the bottom of the poster and let it drop against the wall. The hole, we now, goes to a flowing liquid sewage line, which would move air as well. This would create enough suction to pull the poster against the adhesive enough to be taut by the time the warden poked a finger through it.
For the "Saw" plot hole, you missed one huge factor. The phone was made to receive calls. The movie even said and showed it prior to the final act. When they find it they tried to call but it failed because it's only made to receive calls.
In Ursula’s defense
Ariel was stupid enough to sign a deal with a witch who clearly only had bad reviews
So Ariel probably forgot that she could use written words to communicate
For the Marvel plotholes, I have some theories: First, Thanos ain't human and therefore might not follow all the same rules, plus gauntlet 2 is an Iron Man glove which may have electronics just to compensate for the sound issue. Second, the botched spell likely destabilized further as it was being suppressed, hence the anomaly with Electro and maybe Venom [haven't seen the Venom films yet]. And third, the duplicate of Ant Man may have come from the portal in the van.
Hello be amazed
I watched The Little Mermaid in the theatres back in the day - yeah I’m old - and the thing that’s always always bothered me is the Kiss the Girl scene.
Eric’s trying to guess Ariel’s name, and Sebastian whispers in his ear ‘Ahhriel her name is Ahhhriel’ and Eric says ‘Air-E-El?’
How did he know the voice was speaking in a Jamaican accent?
It has been confirmed that Arial could only write her name and nothing more. She was also only 16 years old, so she also knew nothing about contracts.
About the Shawshank redemption: It is implied through the movie that his friends knew he was trying to escape for a long time but remains ambiguous about who knew what when. It may be just a continuity error, but it may be another implication that Andy's friends actively covered his tracks
👌
congratulations
Nice
Shawshank Redemption: My issue is also the poster, but a different angle. Andy spends 19 years in that prison, and he had three different posters on the wall. At first he gets special treatment from the warden, but then he messes up and spends three whole months in the solitary cell. Why wasn’t his cell searched and completely emptied during that time?
How to be a total grump and not have fun 101.
The real question is not "Does this movie have a plot hole." What you should ask is "Is this plot hole so big and obvious that it distracts from the movie and ruins it." Some of these are worse than others. Most movies have a plot hole if you look hard enough.
You must hate CinemaSins
Literally, the first thing that came to mind as I read @pacmon's comment 😂
Yeah it's called bad writing.
@@Fofavbor67 I do hate CinemaSins, but for far greater reasons than "sometimes they notice plot holes." For instance, usually they manipulate scenes and/or straight up lie about a movie's content to invent _new_ plot holes... to keep people arguing in the comments... I guess? That's all I can figure.
Raiders of the Lost Ark: Indy doesn't believe in supernatural forces.
Temple of Doom (prequel): Indy witnesses a man's still beating heart pulled out, gets mind controlled, and summons the power of a god to thwart the villain.
ah, but denial is more than just a river in Egypt, my friend. XD
"Jurassic junk"
I thought you were about to go in a COMPLETELY different direction when you said that.
8:19 I think is the metal that make the sound Not actually the❤ Snapping
I *hated* The Last Jedi. It was stupid. Hell, *all* the Disney Star Wars movies suck.
4Q. Rogue One was madass.
In Jurassic park movies, the biggest plot hole is the dinosaurs being able to survive in modern times. The atmosphere is completely different now and has less oxygen compared to the cretaceous period. Also, food sources have changed dramatically as has the ratio of water and land
Not necessarily. When the scientists extracted the DNA from the prehistoric animals (pterosaurs are not dinosaurs), they filled the gaps in the DNA in the book by inserting the DNA from either bird, lizard, or frog DNA. In the movies, only frog DNA is used. Perhaps when they filled the sequence gaps, they made it possible for them to adapt to the new environment.

For the Little Mermaid, the argument can be made that Ariel was so excited about exploring the land world, that she might not have thought straight to carrying around paper and pen to write. Plus for the time period, it wasn't a thing to carry around a notebook and pen to communicate with I'm pretty sure, so that option was never given to her as she was cared for in her mute state.
and, i suppose, given how little she really understood the above world, it wouldn't have really sunk in to do that. but since she Did sign with a quill (how it worked under water is another thing, but i digress) she Should have been able to recognise when she saw a quill n paper Some where in the prince's castle n what it could be used for.
it's just one of those things where one really Should know a few key things about where they're going before making plans to travel there, i guess. X3
@@kstormgeistgem461 Yeah. Ariel was lucky it turned out well for her in the end.
In Transformers, Megatron, despite having that option, his ego would not let him because he wants to defeat Optimus with his own hands.
