So Mike I'm installing two of those units in Pennsylvania I have to assemble the curbs install them for a roofer I only have to run the electrical from each unit to electrical panel only no connections no ductwork what do you think I should charge per unit he's renting a crane
Cool video. I'm installing my first rooftop unit soon. How exactly do you secure the straps to the unit? It seems like they unthreaded something. Also do different riggers use different straps?. Do different riggers have 2 men on jobsite to help?
@hvac-r977 when you call and give your parts house the model number of your old unit they will let you know if the new unit you will be installing requires a curb. If it does - usually they will provide that - for a fee of course... 😂
lol OSHA is a joke.... unless you're union, nobody follows or cares what OSHA's rules are. OSHA's just another for-profit program to rob money out of people with their ridiculous rules. What the hell is a hard hat and safety glasses going to do if you fall off a 30 foot roof? Absolutely nothing. And how the hell would somebody manage to fall off a flat roof anyway? You'd have to be a special kind of dumb for that to happen and I'd say you deserve your outcome.
@@jeffreyjohn2037 If that crane boom breaks and comes crashing down on your head, a hard hat isn't going to save you bro. Like putting a band-aid over a gunshot wound.
As a professional hvac tech I can tell you guys clean the systems good. Good job on that
Love the old videos Mikey pipes waiting on the crane and the crew currently for the exact same change out this morning in Buffalo!!!
Appreciate the video. Was that a standard 24V controlled system? You make it look easy

No hard hat's, No safety glasses, and no fall protection for the man at the edge of the roof. Hope your insurance company doesn't see this.

where is the economizer? anything over 5 tons has to have an economizer by code
If the dude is gonna walk underneath the unit as its lifted away at least wear a hard hat....
What difference would that make 😂
