That is absolutely sweet! You wouldn't expect anything less then a cycle like this built for awesome speed. For the man I call SuperSonic SAGAN the rock and roll mean green speed machine!! 👀😎💚👊 definitely looks like it packs a punch
9.5cm drop is not a lot. I realised the trick which Pros used. They ride with a low saddle to bar drop, so that they can ride a bike with a cockbit that is overall longer, hence those 130 to 150mm stems. It enables them to go into the aero hoods position, which is all that matters.
Yep. I ride a 140 stem with 67cm of reach and only 7cm of drop. It’s the excessive drop that makes you uncomfortable and it doesn’t do much to help you lower your front end.
I think the disc shifters have 2 ports and the regular rim have 3, the 3rd port on the rim shifters has an extra nub on it that is also on the sprint shifter cables so only they han go it there, im pretty sure they should fit with a mod, either like cut the nub or re solder a new end on, they are sponsored by shimano though so they could make special ones for them
How did he get those sprint shifters connected to that group set? I know from experience that there isn’t a port to plug them in. Does he have the mechanics do some wire splicing?
Talking about disc as if the entire peleton is opting to use then whilst the most succesful team thus far (Jumbo, 3 stages and yellow) uses rim brakes, aswell as currently the strongest looking contenders to win this years tour (Roglic, Bernal and Pogacar) all using rim brakes.
Rim brakes are definitely still used a lot but they do have so huge disadvantages, stopping power to be one, they are also way more effected by rain and generally brake down more often
@@JHOLE21 Yeah I know that. I didn't say that rim brakes are better in all scenarios. All I am saying is rim brakes are still just as relevant as disc brakes :) Both have their pro's and cons

Most of the disc bikes on this year's tour are well over 6.8kg. Teams don't use deep wheels to save weight. Most teams run 35mm-45mm rims. Ineos is using rim brake and bought lightweight wheels with its own money trying to save weight
hoppy1970 75.5cm from the bottom bracket. Not sure it’s the case here but some pro riders choose a smaller frame size to save weight and get a more aggressive position.
No, those are standard issue sprint shifters, you can find them in Shimano retailers. Each sprint shifter has a wire to connect to the STI levers. (Ultegra has two ports/lever while Dura-Ace has three if I remember correctly)
It's a Specialized out-front mount, made in collaboration with Bar Fly. This is made for Specialized stems with a slotted faceplate, like the Future stem, S-Works Venge stem (for the 3rd-gen Venge) and this Tarmac SL7 stem. The S-Works SL stem can use this mount too, just swap the faceplate for the Future stem's.
I just bought sagan venge overexposed then suddenly this came out 🤣 but its okay the venge still the fastest 😎 since it limited frameset so its going to be valueble in the future.
