I am sure glad I made the large size first as it was challenging to turn out. I can't imagine making the small... But I did make it with cork.

The smaller the bag-sometimes it is harder to make depending on your sewing machine. Glad you made it work.

This new tutorial is so much better than the last. Other tutorial raced through project. Love this pattern, I have made 6 already. Thank you for redoing.

Can I use a serger for this pattern? Specifically the large bag

You can definately use a serger for some parts, but you will need to know where your markings are for 1/4" and 3/8" seam allowances. There is alot of top stitching as well as stitching the straps to the hadware, which could be done if your machine has the ability to do a chain stitch (for hemming) but there could be alot of back and forth for the stitching. Let us know if you end up making it on there.

So is the bumpy side of the fleece the side with the glue? Thanks! (Before I seriously gum up my iron, lol!)

Sorry for the delayed response. If you have not got assistance from a fellow sewist. No you do not apply the glue to the furry side.

I cannot locate the measurements for the strap in the directions and/or pattern. Please help. Thanks.

On the paper pattern under MAIN FABRIC shows the size for each piece. You will need (2) 4" x 25" for Piece H if using woven fabric. Non woven fabric you will need (2) 2" x 25". Hope this helps. Any more concerns please email info@sallietomato.com. #sallietomato. Happy Sewing!
