    Great video what how may buckle pieces are you using to complete the webbing strap 2 or 3.

      Only 2 pieces to be able to close the buckle. Hopefully, that makes sense

    Really enjoyed, what is the seam allowance you are using? is it the same all over, even for the gusset attaching to the zipper? Thank You

      @@luciebombardier9592 hello, glad you enjoyed it. I had used about 3/8 seam allowance all over the bag. You can always get closer to the edge if you like to give your more space inside the bag though. I did that with another one and it helped. Hope this helps.

    I love it! What size seam allowance did you use when sewing the bag together?

    So cute! Could I use waterproof canvas? And if so, do I need to interface? Thank you!

    • @stitchawayco.5830
      @stitchawayco.5830  Год назад

      Thank you and yes, I don’t see why not as long as you can work with it. If the canvas is really sturdy you probably won’t need to add interfacing but if you’ll like it super sturdy then it won’t hurt to add some of it. Hope that helps 🙂

    What kind of material do you use. Regular or a thicker material and medium or heavy fusible interfacing thank you 😊

    • @stitchawayco.5830
      @stitchawayco.5830  11 месяцев назад

      Hello, I use regular cotton fabric for the outer layer and lining. As for the interfacing I use the heavy one. It's extra firm. Hope this helps :)

    Hi, thanks for the tutorial. What is the name of the tracing paper? Wowak? Not sure what you said. Linking to the items you used in the description would be helpful.

      Hello, I am sorry. I forgot to add it in the description. The tracing paper is from Wawak and it's called "Sewable, Swedish Tracing paper" 29 inches by 10 yards. Wawak is an online sewing supply store. Hope this information is helpful.

      @@cristineville4400 I am so sorry to hear that it is not beginner-friendly for you. I thought I was very thorough on the steps. However, may I ask where was it that you got lost or confused to say that it is not beginner friendly. I would appreciate the feedback to improve in future videos. If you need any help with anything I am here to help. I’m a self-taught learner so I know it may be frustrating at first to learn how to sew.
