Always love "The Valley" map. Made some epic stands with it. When you have an Army bearing down on their objective and you want to defend it, lead it to a known Valley area and decimate them.
No question one of the best places to hold back the tide. I had an epic "300" series battle in the valley today, though it's in 'line' to be processed and that may take a while.
Thanks it's been a lot of fun sort of role playing the character in this weak army series, in fact the spin-off The peasants revolt should continue to Vons disrespect of the enemies with a foot in their face and a mace clubbing them to the ground so that other peasants can beat down the enemy. Good evening . I mentioned my love of ridges in one of your previous uploads..my actual favourite ridge is just back and to the left of where you started..similar tactics,without the kiting..bottle necking the enemy into a satisfying slaughter...Has saved many a man,woman and horses liver. Hukttuu Raqatuu,Khan of the Khuzaits is turning into quite a bit of a bastard in what I expect will be some of his last living years at 55. Policies have been invoked and overturned,clans evicted from fiefs and armies with no purpose disbanded all in favour of the ruler. All retreating soldiers are slaughtered without question. Madwan ruler of the Aserai is slowly testing his patience whilst the Sturgians and Vlandians continue to be the greatest threat and hardest battles. Beer production and profit has been so good lately we bought a big ass swishy slaughter pole that was so good another two were purchased as gifts for loyal service. Family led parties have been created for a consistent army of highly skilled future Khans. You may take my hard won cities or castles but we will always take the Garrison first and divide it accordingly. Another great upload. May your mead flow sir.
I haven't tried to the left there on that ridge, but it DOES make sense, tucked in and with a peekaboo ridge. Perhaps I'll try it soon :) Love the details from your campaign. You're a Khuzait vassal, or rebel?

I pledged allegiance early on and did not think I would play on as far as I have..I was initially just playing as a refresher after I had noticed they had added a Sandbox since my first and last time playing,which was quite a while ago... Now here we are..renaming children with i,ii,iii,iv,v and (s)ix at the end of their birth name simply so I can remember in which order they were born.. I have only just realised there is relation involved with my characters children,most of whom are party leaders or governors so i might have to put some effort in there. Its a game that as you mentioned has its flaws. I have randomly found the glitch of ransoming lords at the tavern over and over and I have used that to my advantage..simply adding a worthy bounty is my reasoning..I added 25k-50k per captured lord accordingly. A couple of day's ago I thought I had found a glitch with garrison refilling if you left and returned to the town..i quickly figured out it seems to be my armies parties troops..almost an hour of carefully filtering troops by tier/class to distribute. Worth it i suppose but not the free extra high tier troops I thought it was.A good way to balance out parties though if I am correct. I tend to find a game and pretty much only play that game,No one I know plays it,most have never heard of it, but a few think it sounds pretty awesome and will hopefully pick it up if only for some decent chat at least. The regular chat I get of what fucking KD they have really does not interest me..lets talk about KD when we just wiped out 600+, arse to the wall with only a ridge to save us. The effort you put into each upload,without fan boying,put's your content beyond anything else available at this point.But that is my own opinion and there are other great creators out there. You hit it with the music score every time.
Hi man, really loving your content. Could you do an all Sturgia guide? Vs Khuzaits specifically. Their infantry is better, plus the Khans. How do you beat them?
Shield and shock, shield walls in front, slow down their cav, maul with shock troops. I'm working on a guide RIGHT NOW(more on infantry than JUST Sturgia), but it's coming pretty soon.

Yep, like you, thousands of hours of play, and losing has brought me to this. Sometimes I will try to 'minimize' that effect, but it's common nature to play to your ability, so that's hard sometimes.
I always fumble with the actual controls for issuing units. The nested menus within the F-keys are so awkward. And how is it you have perfect previews of where units will stand? I just get little flags you can barely see, and that's only if I click and hold. I'd love a video on just how the unit order controls function.
I have an infantry series coming up that details formations in depth. Is that what you mean? I also have a formations video that I released recently under 'Intermediate Tactics Series' volume I that has indepth pre-battle setups, might help too? Finally, the colored locators for the troops is a mod(RTS MOD).
It's only easy because I have done it a lot. With experience comes failure, then learning, then success, eventually domination. Happy crushing it mate, I'm sure you're getting there...
@HeadlessHorsemanProductions I met my first top-tier Aseri archers today. On open terrain. My poor cavalry will be walking funny for a week. Too many Highwaymen, not enough armour. And the range of bows is easy to forget when you're chasing after the enemy cavalry, lol.
The most generous compliment of all, other than hearing that players are starting to dominate their own games through our demonstrations here... I love TEACHING even more than killing/commanding, so this channel is an ideal mix of my skills and strengths...
