This happens more than I tend to show, it's amazing how everything I start to feel good about a skill in bannerlord, be it throwing javelins or wading into combat with my axe, I get a humbling experience like this that makes me feel like I'm totally lost! lol
I would love to see a full walkthrou or map complition in some sort from you. something from lvl 0 to hero where we can see in detail how u set up your hole game.
That's something others have sought out too, and while I may start a new campaign later this year, I'm not sure how much to record. Do you really want to see every bandit fight, tournament and selling of random loot at towns?? I'm still not sure exactly what kind of detail fellas want to see. It's not like I'm a campaign expert, I'm just strong at tactics, strategy and character optimization/game theory.
Do you have an assigned setup for your different squads to help keep track of them? I generally put my odd numbered squads on my left flank and the evens on the right and that seems to help me juggle the different formations
That works pretty well. In my mind, I can draw up my standard formations, 1st infantry, largest, in the center, left wing protective cav is 3rd, 4th archer/crossbow division on the left also, 5th archers behind 1st infantry(or right flank), skirmishers almost always right flank, 8th corp is variable, but often right flank, 2nd cav guarding skirmishers on the right and 7th often following me to skirmish and occasionally hammer/anvil. Your idea is certainly correct though, otherwise you'll just lose track of who is where too often...
I think he pointed out in another video to keep it consistent. I am doing different armies, on different saves. But if I got my cav and xbows army it is set up the same every time. The sturgian army has its own but I run it as close to the same as I can every time. That helps a lot.
Have you ever tried Bannerlord Online, I haven't because I dont trust my potato computer to run it, and it seems as close as you can get to proper army vs army combat, although it seems mich smaller scale and slower paced.
Checking it out tonight, thanks! Looks kinda amazing, I got to admit but I also can't just ditch my campaign. Maybe I'll tinker with it and it can be my next adventure. Thank you!
5:56 my man was juking the hell out of you
