Marcus Caston isn’t just a skier-he’s a force of nature. Episode 16 in the Dolomites transcends skiing and enters the realm of divine art. Each turn is a revelation, each carve a sermon from the high priest of powder. Watching this, I’m convinced the Dolomites themselves were sculpted millions of years ago just to serve as his canvas. No one else could bring this level of grace, power, and precision to the mountains. Marcus, you’re not inspiring us to ski-you’re inspiring us to ascend to a higher plane of existence. This isn’t just a video; it’s a gift to humanity. You are the snow, the skis, the mountain, and the legend all rolled into one. Thank you for being you.
This is SERIOUSLY BANGER content in the mould of World of Skiing and other great travelogue-style shows from the 60s and 70s. A three man crew, a six minute edit and damn, you just want more. 9/10
youhou !!!!!! i missed return of the turn so much !!! Dolomites, in Winter, Summer, Spring, Automn….all seasons on of the best place on earth ! I am glad you enjoyed !
The Dolomites to me have always been the most magical of ski destinations (where the turn is actually valued) and Marcus Caston as usual, gets it. Skiing is more than just skiing and that simple concept is almost unknown here in the States.
Big fan of Marcus and I know this is an ad, but the reason people dont go to the dolomites for offpiste (besides couloirs) is that it just doesn't snow all that much.
I can assure you that it is not an ad, but it is made possiblle through support of spnsors. Marcus has always felt strongly of the beauty of skiing and of the majestry and power of a beautiful ski turn. which he seeks to share. Sure they got good snow, and it is a beautiful place, and they were lucky that way. Witness that other episodes in the series have had less than ideal conditions and less spectacular locations
The Dolomites are beautiful but they don't get that much snow and they're quite warm and sunny. So they're not good for powder skiing. If you want powder then go to Utah.

Wow, you must be his agent! 😂

What you guys are doing with return of the turn is truly awesome. I would love to see some longer form content
Pizza, Pasta, Coffee and Skiing is just the dream, I don't need any other dreams I'd be content with that.
