Good morning Camille, Seems that most of the people using that park had there pockets sown up, but a few coins managed to escape, It's amazing how one beautiful silver can save the day! Looking out the window at the sky and it's the first day in over a week that hasn't been blanketed with clouds. Sunshine always improves my mood especially when it chases that chilled air away. I hope it's a nice sunny day for you too, Cheers!
Good morning! And you are so right - they had their pockets sown up and yes, one silver saved the day. Hope you’re great! I have kids home during school hols but I can’t wait to get out for a solid long day hunt soon. Feels like ages between that sort of hunt. Take care mate 👍👍😊
Well done Camille. Good times out. Congrats on the silver. Lucky it didn’t have the lawn mower treatment that the pennies had. Those pole tags🤨. Gotta dig them. Take care mate 😁👍
Congrats on the suburban silver Camille,as opposed to CBK finding wild silver. Digging in rock hard soil can be a challenge so you did well with the other coins too.Cheers.
Right! Wild silver. Suburban silver. And I think Andrew talks about Urban silver… The weather is changing now… and the ground should be getting softer in another month 😊 Catch you next time
From Nottinghamshire UK .... Nice little video and thanks for sharing . Can't believe you can detect on public verges over there . Not allowed on any council ' green spaces ' over here including parks ☹️. What percentage silver was the sixpence ? UK silver coins went cupro nickel post 1947 ( I think it was ) . Nice coin that . Oh ! Thanks for the call out at 11.05 😆👍
Thanks 👍 We are pretty lucky here there’s no restrictions where I live (it’s not a busy city really) Cheers 🍻 for watching and happy hunting to you 😃 👍👍
I'm 99% sure I recognise that oval, and I took my son metal detecting there (over the other side near the Liquid Amabars)... We'll have to give that stretch a go. If you are us out with our brand new used GoFind 66, come say hi!
Hi 👋 I always like to say hi to other detectorists! If I show a location like this in my videos it usually means I’m completely finished with that spot 😂 I detected here a few years ago and was heading back for fresher drops (and it’s close to home) Good luck to you and your son 😊it’s a great hobby. My kids actually started this channel. They feature in the early videos if you want to check them out with your son. 😊Take care. Camille
Hi Jason. Good question. You know I have not noticed but I think the smaller the silver and the more likely it being on a funny angle might be creating a clip clop. The larger coins seem to ping! What have you noticed? 😊
I was hoping you'd noticed 🤣 the question just came to mind as I thought back and had noticed the same but never followed it through 🤷♂️ conventional wisdom would suggest orientation and soil type affecting silvers at depth but I was wondering re silver content (not just affecting numbers)🤔 I'll have to keep it in mind. Thanks Camille, happy scratch'n 👌

A silver can change your whole mood.Great hunt.
Right on JJ. There was a time I would get a handful of silver. But now I’m content with 1. Cheers for watching.
Wow!!! how clean is that silver!!
Hi Paul! Only a little bicarbonate soda and water and gentle rubbing. That’s the easiest and quickest method for me.
