@10TargetsDetecting That I did! And now I'm recuperating, And no! Not from excessive libations, though a few did pass my lips. Lots of driving, lots of detecting, lots of tall tales told, some of lately, some of old. Rubbing shoulders with CBK and Viv, and Luke of dig it detecting, and several other RUclips detectorists and multiple other fellow enthusiasts, I was in good company. It does get tough digging deep when it’s summer here. That’s why I usually hunt permissions where the owner doesn’t care one bit about a hole/plug/ their ground bc it’s being developed. Cheers for watching! Rain is due next week… let’s hope it pours 🌧️ Happy hunting. 😃👍🍀

Hello! Cheers for watching. Yep I do one hand filming one hand digging. It gets tough over summer when the ground is much harder. I’ve tried a chest mount but it moves around way too much and makes the viewer dizzy 😵‍💫 Hope you’re well! Must be getting warm up north. Happy hunting. 😃👍🤞🍀🌺

I think people might tighten the coil pretty hard to have it snap at the base there… but who knows. I love the Nokta detectors! Happy hunting!

Yep. It’s called the Sabre Tooth. Digs deep. Not so neat. So you gotta get used to it. But I hunt mostly permissions and sites where I just gotta fill in the holes. I like using my legs (as opposed to a hand digger) for strength. It’s quite heavy though and tall. Cheers for watching!! And happy hunting.

Hi Rob. Thanks for watching! Do you soak the coins. Like for ages. In a bicarb paste? I don’t like vinegar on silver. But coppers it’s good. Have you tried tumbling the silvers? Don’t mix with other coins. Just silver together. Wish I could see them. Electrolysis is good too. Let me know if you have soaked them for days (rubbing them between your fingers each day though trying to get the gunk off). also if they are tarnished - there’s a silver polish/tarnish remover from Bunnings or a hardware store

@ Thanks Camille, i have soaked them for several hours - rubbing every 30 mins, maybe an overnight soak might work with bicarb and foil, haven’t tumbled silver, was worried they may disappear !

They are soaking in Alibrite at the moment, thought i would try that, im a gold prospector too and alibrite dissolves ironstone and quartz so i thought id give that a go, didn’t look like it was doing much when i checked yesterday though !

So dry already and it’s not even summer yet. Home owners that water their verge are probably too precious about me digging there. Verges are great to detect but I do like to ask.

They are the hardest coins to find. The big coins just jump out at you. But the little ones… much harder I rkn. Now the silver content… hhmmm tbh I haven’t checked. But it’s certainly silver in colour 😂

It gets harder and harder. Less and less finds and you start digging all the things you previously left because they sound sketchy and you realise good targets on a funny angle can sound sketchy. Cheers mate. Never dug out. The hunt continues… happy hunting! Cheers mate 😃👍🍀
