Three silvers is awesome! Cool that the neighbor came out and you've snagged another permission! Approaching people is always hard, but can't beat someone approaching you!
Thank you 😁 It’s already concrete ground in the dirt area! More rain due next week hopefully. Back again for another round. Surprised I didn’t see a marble or two. They are always around these lots… jinxed it now though 😂 Hope you and Viv are well. All the best Andrew 😎👍🍀🤞🌺
Thanks 👍 it’ll be good to switch coils. Nice to know it’s a site with a few more treasures to find. Hope you’re well Gary and not too hot. Temps are certainly rising. All the best. Camille
Sooooo hotttt!! Stay cool. Silvers are always so nice to find. I’m due for a big silver floz though! Been ages. Not hunting as much as I was last year though. Makes a difference. Hope you’re great!! Take care mate 😃👍🍀🤞🌺
Can’t believe it’s snowy and muddy. Such a heat wave here atm. I’m surprised you don’t find much silver. It’s always awesome for sure. All the best. Stay warm 😎 ❄️
Thanks for subbing! I love your name - treasure Tom! Hopefully you find lots of treasure! I love treasure hunting - other peoples trash is often my treasure though. Love detecting an old rubbish dump. Welcome! Appreciate you! And happy hunting 😃👍🍀🌺
How on earth do you get a permission on a vacant lot? When there's no one there to ask! There's nothing shallow about finding Silver no matter how shallow it is! And you did it by three! Great hunt Camille! Hooray!
It’s still owned by someone! I have a friend in real estate. A friend in strata management, some builder friends… they all are on the hunt for me for sites. I always ask. I feel it’s better karma.
Hello! Cheers for watching. Yep I do one hand filming one hand digging. It gets tough over summer when the ground is much harder. I’ve tried a chest mount but it moves around way too much and makes the viewer dizzy 😵💫 Hope you’re well! Must be getting warm up north. Happy hunting. 😃👍🤞🍀🌺
@ you do a great job of holding the camera still and getting good content on your digs..well done 😊 yeah it’s definitely getting hotter up here, we have had some wet weather recently which has cooled things down a bit and livened up the ground also…great for digging 😊 happy hunting Camille 👍
Hey Camille, enjoy your vids. Just a quick question, i have some silver coins that are so tarnished that it doesn’t budge, even with bicarb and silver foil, or vinegar. You just cant see any detail whatsoever, have you got any tricks ? Not sure about electrolysis - haven’t got into that yet. Keep up the great work !
Hi Rob. Thanks for watching! Do you soak the coins. Like for ages. In a bicarb paste? I don’t like vinegar on silver. But coppers it’s good. Have you tried tumbling the silvers? Don’t mix with other coins. Just silver together. Wish I could see them. Electrolysis is good too. Let me know if you have soaked them for days (rubbing them between your fingers each day though trying to get the gunk off). also if they are tarnished - there’s a silver polish/tarnish remover from Bunnings or a hardware store
@ Thanks Camille, i have soaked them for several hours - rubbing every 30 mins, maybe an overnight soak might work with bicarb and foil, haven’t tumbled silver, was worried they may disappear !
They are soaking in Alibrite at the moment, thought i would try that, im a gold prospector too and alibrite dissolves ironstone and quartz so i thought id give that a go, didn’t look like it was doing much when i checked yesterday though !
It does get tough digging deep when it’s summer here. That’s why I usually hunt permissions where the owner doesn’t care one bit about a hole/plug/ their ground bc it’s being developed. Cheers for watching! Rain is due next week… let’s hope it pours 🌧️ Happy hunting. 😃👍🍀
Yep. It’s called the Sabre Tooth. Digs deep. Not so neat. So you gotta get used to it. But I hunt mostly permissions and sites where I just gotta fill in the holes. I like using my legs (as opposed to a hand digger) for strength. It’s quite heavy though and tall. Cheers for watching!! And happy hunting.

Well done Camille. Great permission with heaps of potential. Congrats on the silvers. Good luck next time out 😁👍

You need a jack hammer for that soil.

Screwdriver....
I actually love using a screwdriver for popping out targets.
