I came home early the other day and I heard strange noises coming from my wife's bedroom. As I was approaching I heard her yell "don't come in" and I backed off because "always retreat". Rly wonder if she was cheating though...

Crazy to think this match is now further away from the present than the 2082 WC match.

What a fine compilation of the past in chess, as there is lots of material and Ben does a great job of telling it all, with humor, grace, and insight.

Great lecture Ben. I've always wished to play like Tal, but honestly I play more like a dollar store Botvinnik. I always think of this match when I see this Ne2 move in the classical CK, Tal played it in a number of games and I always wondered why he didn't mix it up a little more.

0:30 Pronunciation made me wonder how Chess hasn't made a Bot Vinnik bot yet. 🤔

Tal said he played Bf4 because being moved backstage broke his concentration and he would have otherwise played Rxc3 but forgot his analysis.

That kid is right. Don't resign before you see the other player's move. They might blunder! haha
