Each year based on performance I was given 4 to 8 percent raises. I stepped down during covid to work part time to help my autistic son with remote schooling and therapy. I made 1/4 of what I use to earn. I was so scared because i didnt know how long remote schooling and the pandemic would last. Then once the kids got back in school I had to start all over again. That was a legitimate question. People asked me all the time how was I able to make it.
