Usually the music in a show doesn't sell itself but here you can tell just from the sound what's going on. How she's hesitant and unstable at the beginning but as her memories of Asuka flow back the sound becomes calmer and cleaner.
ye since in many ways, asuka is the older sister that kumiko always wanted. kumiko’s dream was to play music alongside her sister. the one who inspired her to pick up music in the first place. but alot had happened to both of them that they lost sight of that dream. while reina ignited the flame for kumiko to aim higher, asuka was the one to show her how much she loves the euphonium, despite her sister telling her to stop playing because she was jealous. reina still a huge factor in kumiko’s life but asuka is everything kumiko wanted
can't wait to hear her play the euphonium again
