Dude such a great vid 👏 👌 I loved that u did 0 to 30 and 0 to 60. I am looking in to either buying a quadzilla or a banshee this vid helped me decide thank u
Watch the update, I was able to go faster on the Zilla after getting a better launch.
Buy an Honda...they are the best...and will last the longest...Have had Honda's since the 70s and they still perform like new...
So, which did you go with? Give us an update
thats your only criteria? what stock quads (that are getting harder to find in any condition let alone stock and clean and more expensive by the day) do in a straight line on a youtube video? i guess thats rational... not knocking the video btw
Really nice to see that beautiful Honda 250R...Even with the results of your test I still think the Honda is the best quad of the bunch...I personally have 7 quads and 2 three wheelers so I speak from experience...To bad you didn't have the Suzuki LT250r to have a more fair comparison...I assumed the bigger motors would be faster but was surprised to see the Quadzilla's inability to out run the Banshee. The Honda 250R is the quad that all other quads are measured against. Thanks for the test and keep up the good work...
The rm500 engines left over from rm production "that was stopped for good reason" were considered the weakest big bore engines made. No power band hit hardly, lowest hp and torque ratings. Things a slow noisey monster that never got fully developed. Nothing shocking
@@yamaha4902 I grew up around both(Shees/Zillas)...this comparison wasnt accurate at all due to lack of rider mod
That R will eat the other 2 alive on the race track Hondas have way better suspension geometry.
Especially when upgraded with long travel suspension
Short shifting the shit out of that Suzuki..never had a chance
Yeah it was a shitty comparison doggin the zilla like that. But you have to make a predetermined outcome come true some how I guess.....
Yea, I noticed that too. With stock gearing, Zilla's actually launch faster in 2nd gear, especially on asphalt if you know how to feather the clutch just a little to keep the front end from going up and over.
Yep. The 500 doesn't really show it's power till you rap it out
It is so cool to see the actual speeds and times. My friends and I figured all this out back in the early 90s but it was only by racing each other's quads. Very awesome to look back on.
Great comparison video you did a good job showing each quads ups and downs
That video was so awsome!!! My friends and I are really into the old 2 strokes, trikes and all. This is the best answer to a lot of our conversations!!
Cool video & some super nice quads! Thanks for doing this.
Great comparisons and video, Thanks for taking the time to make it!
Those are some beautiful machines
Thank you 👊
I have rode all 3. Each stock and stages of mods. Been riding 30+ years. The Banshee is ultimately unique but I can promise you the LT500 is the funnest, most versatile, and an offroad and hillclimb weapon. This is coming from a Honda fanatic who has several CR500R, 2005AF too, CR250R, etc etc.
The Suzuki is no competition to the Banshee. Not stock, not modified.
I dune at Glamis and Dumont.
Plenty of videos out there.
@@TheBandit7613 I've got to agree with you Chris. I can make it up the back side of every dune at Coos Bay on my 250R, but the guys on the Banshees still have something left over. Still I'm more comfortable on the 250
@@kingboagart899 The 250R has incredible geometry. They got it right. The steering, ride and handling.
@@TheBandit7613 yep. Had the 310 barrel on it for a couple of years in the 90's and could barely keep the front end on the ground to steer it, but it was gawdawful quick. Survived that and after I grenaded it been satisfied with stock barrel ever since, always starts and rarely tries to kill me, although my old ass stretched a hamstring a couple weeks ago came off it sideways on a logging road and it landed on me. My kid's stupid idea to go to the forest. Putting the paddles back on it and leaving them there.
I don't care WHAT has been said. That quadzilla is the deal for me. I'm no superhero, but I love the ZUKs..... My ltz400 is sweet and chomps on all other 400s no question. They have just a little more bite. Not to mention the styling is awesome. Hats off from Detroit!!!
This man is a saint.... The patience owning and maintaining that many shees is amazing. I had one, and used up all the four letter no no words everytime I messed with it
Love how high quality all your quads are. Never had the pleasure of owning a banshee sadly. had a beat up Lt500, as well as an esr 310r at one point as well. Quadzilla was definitely more fun in the pits but tight trails got to love the 250r. Keep up the great videos, glad these machines are in a great home
Those machines are immaculate. Makes me smile just seeing them so clean
This is a incredible video man I love the content and I also saw you on tiktok and followed you man keep it up
Absolutely beautiful machines I’m super jealous!
Video takes me back about 20 years trail riding. I had a modded 99 banshee, friend had a modded 250R and another with a stock 500 zilla. My banshee was very snappy but one carb kept hanging wide open. Honda was smooth and ran strong. Suzuki had ton of power but the vibration from engine was terrible.
Great display of equal conditions. And great driving I must say. Love the machines
Thank you 🙏
Not the typical result back in the day when I had my quadrille but great video. Fun to see the old stuff out there
Awesome video, great breakdown.
I loved this video! You whipped those things like they owed you money!! Great driving!
Hey bro THANK YOU for doing these comparisons on PAVEMENT!!! lots of people don't get it
Great Video!
Loved Each Machine!
I’ve gotten to ride a few banshees and an lt250r. Always wanted a zilla. Ended up spending 5 years riding an 06 yfz and it was one of the most reliable and funnest machines I’ve had. Miss it all the time, still would’ve loved to have a two stroke to go with it.
When I first saw the 89 250 R back in 1989 my best friend‘s older brother bought one and I was infatuated by it. I wanted one so bad but it took me till 2005 to finally get it. I wish I really knew what I had when I got rid of it because it had a lobo chassis, a Duncan racing PC 2000 power valve head, I bought it all set up as it was. I wrecked my truck and I needed it a vehicle so I sold it for another truck. But there is something about that white 89 250 R that just brings back all those awesome memories.
Aww there goes the beautiful stock tires but hey, someone had to do it ! Great collection brother. I've still got two of the three.
Dude I assure you either A) the 350 banshee is not stock or B) the 500 isn’t running up to stock specs. We’ve raced multiple 350s back in the day and would drag them by 5 bike lengths and normally lift mid way thorough 5th gear. My LT250R 6spd would beat them if the riders were matched sizes.
I had a brand new TRX 250R back in 89, that I used to race every weekend, seeing it so stock and mint brings back so many memories, if you ever want to sell it let me know!!!
This is the video that made me subscribe a couple months ago! I love banshee’s. I will have one, one day. Only looking for a mint one. Hard to come by around me. Love the blue banshee in this video!
250R was a practical machine. Love to have that one
I had a 1985 atc250r that I bought brand new. Drag raced an 87 Banshee on asphalt. Pulled ahead slightly every gear till tapped out in 6th at 75mph, then the banshee caught up and walked on by. I rode the Banshee and couldn't believe how little low end it had, very narrow power band compared to the 250r. They do sound wicked and would love to own one. Still miss that 250r. Thing was a tank, super reliable. Your bikes are awesome & thanks for the video!
You must have rode a ragged out banshee because mine will rip you off the back it pulls so hard that sometimes you have a hard time pulling the clutch lever it and everyone that has rode said it pulls like a crotchrocket
Yea every banshee I rode was same way.
@@bethanyhaskiell9116 Nope, thing was like brand new and stock. Stock banshee is what 40hp? Stock ATC 250r was 38hp and about 100 lbs less so it makes sense. Banshee stock pipes had them corked up pretty good, different pipes and it's entirely different story then.
Just subscribed and I’m blown away by your collection. That’s my dream your loving. Including the terminator lol
Let’s gooooo. Dream quads for sure
Let’s gooo! Always wanted a banshee
Beautiful wheelers man! Classics
Saw you post in a banshee group. Nice work. Suscribed
Thank you
Awesome video. Well done.
Hope you hit 60k be sick to have a banshee 🤘🏼
Great vid and very nice machines....I have a 00 banshee....don't get to ride much but I always know it's there....
Nice video bro 💪🏽 like yours video, cheers from norway 💪🏽
Been following you for a while and love banshees
The best of the best quads love em !!!
Wicked video my man. I'm gonna need that dragy app
Thank you Man I’ve been lookin to Buy A Banshee
I can’t believe you’ve got all those beautiful machines in one place. I miss my Banshee every day.bought it new in 91, sold it in 2012. What an asshole move. I still think it was the best looking of the bunch. The grey and light blue had a short run. I’ll find another. Great channel! Love the toys!
I have that model 91’ posted on my Instagram, thebansheecollection
Good video came from TikTok keep it up
Amazing collection. I miss riding quads
Why'd you stop? There's sand to throw. I'm gonna die livin'. See you out there.
@@kingboagart899 i never lost the love for them and work on a lot of banshees. i will be back to owning one soon.
@@larryp85 hurry up, you're not getting any younger. I figure if I get on it at least once a week and keep the skill level up I'll be riding well into my 70s. It's not that far away!
beautiful machines. beautiful
Only Have had the trx 250r... Loved that machine..
Very nice video!
Never knew that it would crystalize
Love this channel
Awesome video!!… I bleed Honda Red but I love all three of these quads!!… Bring back the 2 strokes please!!!!!
Seen the ig story post and subscribed 👍
Imo these are the three coolest quads ever manufactured.
Nice rides. Qaudzilla pipe stock chokes it down bad. Run 50:1 H1R Honda oil. (32:1 was to keep warranty cost down as I worked for Kawasaki and Suzuki back in the 80's and 90's . My friends and I still hold the dirt bike land speed record on a kx500 stock class. 62.5 whp we had one that made 105whp with no porting or stroking the crank. Pipe on a quadzilla wakes it up mine made 100 crank hp. 7 flat 1/8 at 97 mph . Taking off in faith gear. Loved the video . Lots of fun times back then.
I run my banshee at 50:1 for 9 years on amsoil. I tried it a 70:1 . Never siezed it . Ported to 9000+ rpm.
Iv rode them all my favorite for racing is the honda 250r. Trail riding love the Banchee special tuned up with pipes and port work. Iv had LT 250R’s ported piped wicked fun fast machines. Specially 87-92 i believe with the power valve what a engine.
I actually had a 85 and LT that would do 100mph great machine. Never spent a lot of time on LT500 but have rode them i believe the 250 with some work was a better all around machine.
Fun video thanks for sharing.
A banshee is my dream quad I would love to have one good luck on RUclips much love
Subbed up that banshee looks good
That’s a dream garage if I’ve ever seen one Honda 250 R a banshee and a quad Zila
New Sub. Happy 4th of July.
Nice collection
I'm assuming you re-jetted for the 110 race gas?
bro you got a nice collection quads
That lt500 is awesome never seen one so clean. The 250r is beautiful though
They all have their place.. but after growing up riding all of these.. in many different build styles.. I preferred the Honda.. I ride woods.. GNCC style trails.. The honda was the best by far in the handling department in tight fast trails.. Thats why they dominated for years and years in GNCC with aftermarket everything.. in the late 90s and early 2000's you could build one from a catalog..
Awesome video man! If you don’t mind me asking, which app did you use for testing? Thanks you!
Buddy had the fastest banshee I've ever personally seen, used to make so much money in Glamis at Oldsmobile hill, he had an extended swing arm and was running each pipe out the side sucker ran on alcohol or some shit like that it was insane fast
Came from ig. I can’t wait to win that Banshee!
Me too lol
GREAT VIDEO.. 😊
What a collection
Beauty collection brother, you have any plans to add any tecates or 250 quadracers to it?
Ive owned all 3 of these quads and i can tell you even before i watch this video about what each quad has to offer and then you can pick what the pros&cons have to each one of these Radical quads!!
I love the smell of 2-stroke in the morning 😎
Love your Bikes wish i win tha banshee s continue with your good video good job love that bleu 1999 banshee
Came from IG 🤟like to get in this hobby
Got nostalgic over my old 'zilla this mornin. For the record, been drinkin' out of the same Contigo water cup for about 7 years now. 😂
Nice video and very nice quads. But I couldn’t help but notice. Is that a termi with 99-01 taillights?
The only problem is none are equal, they are all so far apart in engine size. They are all sweet and so cool you have them. The banshee and Zilla are my favorites
Beautiful Quads 👍
Very nice machines 👍👍👍
This is the holy trinity of 2 strokes.
Beautiful bikes
Alright I subscribed I’m ready for me free banshee. Lmao idk why but love those things always liked the 250r but man the banshee is bad ass
My dad had 2 quadzilla 500s and they were a nasty machine especially back in the day
nice they all 🔥🔥🔥
Had a honda 250 R from the 80s stock and a stock banshee from the 80s. I like the way the banshees sound over other quads and my 250 R had a larger piston put in along with other stuff that made it a little quicker. The stock banshee was still quicker than my 250 R.
Had a quadzilla also and it was slower than the banshee.
craziest thing ive rode is probly a 350x threewheeler i seen you had one in the back there. ive always loved blaster 200's though they wheelie so easy
Came from ig. The banshee’s are my dream quads but I am from PR 😕
Yamaha banshee every time stock to stock. Sure ya can go whatever way with parts and tuning, mild to wild but facts are facts 👌. Great video and super Clean examples of what was back in the day, cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
That's why a Banshee is the fastest sport quad ever made? Oh wait..
Pretty sure pipes and tune wd do more for banshee than 500. Rz (super cool bikes) & Rd 350’s turned to monsters with those mods alone
Sadly there are hardly any sport 4 wheelers anymore except 450’s with their service intervals. Raptor 700 less needy on maintenance. I wd say possibly the go to machine now but I don’t think they are without some issues
Nice collection! now just need a tecate 4 in the mix Hahz
Sweet Machines reminds me of my childhood all you need is A 1987 Tackati 250 trike
For me the banshee and the raptor 700 were by far the most responsive machines I have ever been on. I mean absolute lift off!!!! 🚀
How did you acquire all these beautiful machines? Other than obviously having the money to do so?
I always wanted one, never had the chance to afford it
Some of the best quads
I wanted a banshee since I rode my friends it was a blast
I have owned a heavily modified Qaudzilla and a Banshee with just pipes and jet kit. The Zilla was scary fast but not nearly as fun or comfortable for all day dune rides.
Oh wow! Isn't that an ATC 250R on top behind the ATC 70? You please gotta do a video on it too!
I had a zilla back in the day but stock they weren't nearly as crazy as they were with just a little work. Reliability on the other hand... not so great. I ended up jumping to a Raptor after that. No problems with that pretty much ever.
