I like both of them . Kicking myself in the ass for selling mine , bought a brand new one the last year they made it 2008. banshees are unlike anything else . Just love them . ( for those who don’t know they made them until 2008 in Canada )
Yous need to get a banshee airflow meter and match the carbs and do a few plug chops to get your jets dialed in because you should be alot more crisp response low to high rpms! ( on the black 02) but they both would probably benefit from matching airflow on carbs and plug chop. Unless something else in the engine is wrong you will see a major difference on the 02! I was not that far off and it was night and day difference. It went from ok to the front-end coming up in 1,2,3 and a little bit in 4th gear without trying or dumping the clutch, just all power!!! In 1,2 and 3rd it would flip all the way over if you don't let off or hit the back brake!
Both Banshee looks Awesome the white one looks perfect original. I have two myself just like that original they look Awesome.. the black looks Amazing Awesome pretty nice clean both clean...but buddy needs to get the chain lil tighter in the black one it's a little bit loose you're messed up your sprockets teeth...💪💪👍👍👍👍.. good luck and careful on them
Have a nice day? I'll have whatever kind of a day I want. Lol. Great vid was waiting for this one. Nice to see it hit 80. 79 would have been a bummer. Where are you guys running? I recognize Moonlight beach but not sure where that paved section is.
my banshee stock header with fayboy2 silencers does 115kmh now with fmf pipes it does 118kmh but i run like 20" rear that are like 46cm high normaly 20" is like 50-51cm but i put on some 22" those were like 56cm high and it went up to 123kmh but to be honest 115jmh or 118kmh could be outside temps being different and wind.... but i run 14/41 stock gearing might wanna put a 15 tooth on there cause 118kmh is to short but stock header it does have more low end but way less accelations but hits hard but not long then it falls on its face doesnt rev high the fmf does better smoothing out the power band but doesnt like the run at 1gear trail forest speed like it bogs then but its alright pipe i guess. i might wanna go for a full high rev pipe cause fmf feels like its not giving much more power then stock pipes.. just changes the curve of power
My boss has a banshee it will run 118 mph it is very heavily modified though and different gearing that makes a big difference I road it is very valid you cannot hardly hang on to it
I just bought a blue 2004 basket case. Going to be my project for the summer. Anybody has any parts available let me know what you have LOL. Might consider a whole different motor LOL
118kmh mine does gps. (stock header with fayboy2 silencers 115kmh now with fmf it does 118kmh) but i run like 20" rear that are like real low profile 46cm high normaly 20" is like 50-51cm) but i put on some 22" those were like 56cm high and it went up to 123kmh but i run 14/41 stock hearing might wanna put a 15 tooth on there cause 118kmh is to short but stock header it does have more low end but way less accelations but hits hard but not long then it falls on its face
Banshees are Hellcats of the fourwheeler world
Don't disrespect a banshee like that
Awesome job guys!! 🤘😎
Thanks brotha

Those 08s were sweet
Awesome, entertaining video. You guys are flying high. I wanna see a tug of war next between the two.
💪
Good video I think the black banshee is running rich I think it would do better on low end if it was not rich. Great video I love my banshee

Hahaha 😄 this was filmed on the island
Hahahahaha yes !!!! Yamaha banshee for life
You should also do a comparison race using 93 octane pump gas and race gas show the power difference would be cool to see
Not a bad idea
Those chicken fingers are crispy af lol
Nothing but tbe best haha
Love it. But I’m not to worried about top end. I like mountain riding and a machine that won’t let me sit.
Run it with 20 inch tires it will rev higher

but i run 14/41 stock gearing might wanna put a 15 tooth on there cause 118kmh is to short

Gonna keep this one stock i think

Good luck with the rebuild I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with it !!
I got some FMF sst pipes and silencers
I like the black one I have one like that but we chopped the front fender 😂
where and how much do you pay for your plastics cuz most i find are ridiculous
Well it depends on the site you buy them at and what color you get, their always usually expensive
71 is plenty!
142kmh with mine . 15/41 392cc
118kmh mine does gps. (stock header with fayboy2 silencers 115kmh now with fmf it does 118kmh) but i run like 20" rear that are like real low profile 46cm high normaly 20" is like 50-51cm) but i put on some 22" those were like 56cm high and it went up to 123kmh
