Don’t listen to these critics mike. Go back to the first top speed run and look at your speedometer the second John pulls in the clutch lever, and lets off. It read 79, then after it was pulled in it jumped to 81, your banshee was still climbing in speed, and not to mention all the things you went over with stock gearing and stuff. You can’t please everyone, keep doing what your doing, a lot of us guys look forward to you and John posting new videos. I just finished building a Tecate 4 to go along with my 2- 250r’s and just picked up a banshee so that’s next on my list

There is a way to gain a little bit of acceleration back with the taller gearing. There is a ton of rubber in those tires. A grooving iron can put them on a diet and likely non beadlock wheels are lighter. Also adjust the air pressure to maximum. Remember losing (unsprung weight) is easy horsepower gained.
My 97 banchee didn't have anything major done to it other than aggressive port work and high compression vortech pistons . Other than that just bolt on parts such as cool heads,timing plate,T5's reeds, trinity intake manifold and single 34 mil carb. My GPS top speed was 115 with stock size tires and a 15/40 sprocket set up. So with that set up you have I would guess at around 115+
Put her on the dyno! Love to see what it’s really making compared to the hellcats 100 hp banshee 421 that ran 93 with 250 lb rider and 15/41 gearing and 20 inch rear tires!! I’d like to dyno mine! I think mines around 70 with stock stroke ported motor lol 👍

Those pipes don’t over rev very well. Most dynos show a steep drop off after 8700k, I don’t anticipate the pipes to be able to pull that gearing for 100+ mph unless you are on a very very long road. just from personal seat time riding them. But my guess is 96 to be exact. Be safe !

I think you'll hit 102 mph I just did a speed run on mine the other night after seeing your first speed run. I hit 92 mph with a stock cylinder dune port. with 4 mil long rod crank with shearer pipes pipes gearing is 16/40 and stock tires. Can't wait to see what you hit!!!
I bought a banshee several years ago. The guy had put a sprocket on it that had it do 100mph. It was terrible on the trails. Bogging down in 1st gear. I put the factory sprocket back on it and it was perfect.

Good buddy John walked up and was like do y’all wanna go for a ride on the ol banshee mind you with two beers stacked in one hand. Me and my buddy looked at each other and asked him yeah.... you good? Oh yeah I’m fine jump on. Fuck yeah! Was flying down the drag strip on the back two wheels shitting my pants. I loved it! I don’t think my buddy enjoyed his ride as much. ROFL All in all I feel like we were doing around 90! I’ve gone 60 on a quad and that wasn’t in the 60s.

It's crazy I love banshees never owned one. But I did have a couple 700 r Raptors and I've had my fastest quad was a track ready can am 450ds with power commander and according to my girls car / gps she clocked me at 96 mph. So there r quads built for top end speed and there track quads that have lower gear ratio for dirt speed my raptor 700 r. Seemed it had both but my can am would blow my raptor away but I believe the way the guy sold me the 450. And he only had the power commander set on the 2nd setting and I believe it goes to 5 or 6. But I didnt touch it only thing I did to it was put in a top of the line battery and it made a crazy difference it was like I had a power band but on a quad not a bike. But like ur videos and one day I'll find a banshee in my price range.
You can use the Hoosier Tires that are ran on mine sprint they are a 10" tire and you can get 61" 62" 63" 65" and a 69" $ about $140 to $160 Call hyper chassis or rts chassis
With taller rear tires and a bigger front sprocket, I couldn't shift to 6th gear if I was doing under 55 mph (75% of my riding is on local 2-lane highways, lol). And I've got PLENTY of motor.
I'm a lil concerned the sprocket isn't gna fit with your case saver?! Lol I'm assuming your going to run without it? I've ran 15/38 tooth sprockets on a 421 assassin I built about 3.5 years ago and it man handled that ratio. Literally power everywhere. There's no doubt in my mind 100mph will be hit in 5th gear. 19/38 ratio is a tall gear to climb, but hey drop that new hydraulic clutch and let shee SCREAM!

Clutch_Luck never said it was for normal use. I just said I don’t personally think that it’s enough motor for a 19 front. 17 at the most but a 19 is for when you’re making wayyy more power. It’s just gonna bog in 6th. I’m sure he will hit 100mph, but not gonna be fast.

I'm concerned that your front suspension in its current state will not tolerate 100 mph. Also, not to sound like an old fart (which I am), but I hope you dress for the worst case scenario, which is you and the quad going in different directions at high speed. Major head trauma is no fun, particularly if you survive it with your brain damaged.

There's a banshee speed calculator on the net.just put in gearing tyres ad revs.ive found it doesn't take into account tyre swell at low psi.
