there's nothing to beat the sound of an English electric ok they're noisy and produce lots of clag but it's why I love them and as I grew up next to the old eastfield depot at cowlairs in Glasgow I had a pass to visit the depot back in the seventies and early eighties and would visit often just to hear the noise of all the engines as they idled class 37s 20s or whistlers as they were known, 27s 33s and 47s and in the sheds your eyes would water with the diesel exhaust fumes that hung heavy in the air. brilliant memories of a brilliant time in my life
LOCO ONE..SHED DOORS NIL.!!! I used to work in a worksop with huge grit lorries moving about..quite a few things/walls got damaged..and the identical smoke problems..open dem doors.!

Love an EE myself. As she warms through, the smoke will clear.
37403 arrived at bo'nes in faded BR green, a repaint to BR large logo blue or intercity livery would a peach.
Looks and sounds great!!!
Cant wait to see out n about
And that is why NOTHING can ever beat English Electric locomotives!
oh yes it can - a sulzer engine :)
Must've had confidence in the brakes, personally maybe I'd have opened the shed doors just in case.
I would have opened the shed doors just for the fresh air to come in...
@@martinjh999 Nice bit of diesel smoke never did anyone any harm - I got diesel in my veins..
15 years!! Work well paid off!
