- This is the complete episode! Another humorous pairing of a Muppet performance with a Stan Freberg recording. And an original Esskay commercial!
Starring:
Moldy Hay, Hank, Frank, Little Girl Muppet and No Body as the Mirror.
The track "C'est Ci Bon" was released as a single and later as a track on the compilation album "A Child's Garden Of Freberg", both released in 1960 by Capitol Records.
Stan Freberg and Jim Henson: a match made in heaven.
Agreed :)
Those two guys' singing is awesome to listen to!
Ci Bon Ci Bon
to be honest, unlike the other appearences Limbo has appeared in, Limbo looks more cute in his first appearence than he does in his other appearences.
Ci bon!ci bon!its catchy as hell.i cant stop watchung/singing it!!!!

Ci Bon Ci Bon
I Love That Esskay Snow White Commercial!
RIP Stan Freberg
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
@@JDVG_Comedy_Videos Not exactly, the puppeteers were lipsyncing to a Stan Freberg song.
@@AlmightyToonGod Stan Freberg was the original voice Looney Tunes character Pete Puma.
Hank And Frank Are SOOO Funny!!!!!
Long Live Jim Henson!!!!
Moldy hay is the early version of ernie!
Beautiful, just beautiful. Eartha Kitt was said to have told Stan, regarding his version of the single, "I don't know whether to kiss you, or scrrrrrrractch you!" I can only wonder what she would have thought had she seen what Henson did with it....
THE MUPPETS WON THEIR FIRST OSCAR!!!!
You mean Emmy.
Lol! 😹😹😹 Si' Bon'! Si' Bon'!
Moldy Hay would later evolve into Ernie.
And that floating face would soon evolve into "Limbo" a.k.a. "Nobody".
Yah, Ernie is his grandson or something... I mean, Kermit worked closely with Sesame Street, so it's normal that people connected with those he knew had it easier...
kinda reminds me of Lew Zealand
2:00 Kermit jumpscare
Don't know how i ended up here bit it's all "ci bon"!
Muppets early appareance on TV

3:06 oh…. its my comfort character…. :3
"war surplus life raft" ftw! oh and the classic line "ezz so good i may kill myself" 50/60s tv rocked.
@cstoczyn Girl: How can I look smart for my Prince Charming?
Mirror: Serve Esskay, your prince will taste the difference quality makes and think you're a smart chicken too
Girl: Me?
Mirror:Yes, even you
Girl: Hooray for Esskay!
I love that commercial
Moldy Hay looks like he can be related to Ernie despite him appearing on tv before Ernie on Sesame Street in 1969
@cstoczyn Did you know, Moldy Hay is in fact the grandfather of Ernie (you can see the resemblance)
This also came with an old station ID!
Poor Moldy Hay

Stan is still alive and voicing Pete Puma in the new Looney Tunes show.
Well, that was twelve years ago, today.
Stan passed away April 7, 2015 at the age of 88.
@cstoczyn So Ernie's grandpa Moldy Hay is apparently French? So Ernie's Franco-Canadian ('cause his grandma is Dodi from Sesame Park, his mother Jane is green as is her side of the family, while the father (Ernest Sr.) is orange
Sorry
That's Right, My Friend
@cstoczyn Stan's still alive.
GNARLY!!!!
C'est C'bon
Long Live NBC!!!!

The face's name can be Nobody, but his name is actually Limbo.
Actually his real name is John Smith according to the skit "I know who I am"

So did Jim Henson lipsync Stan Freberg?
Well obviously not alone. He needed his wife Jane to do other puppets as well. He also had the help of Bob Payne.
@@yosefdemby8792 I understand. But the sound was from one of Stan Freberg's singles, 'C'est si bon'.
@@robertellis4938 Yes
@@yosefdemby8792 at 2:00, you saw a glimpse of who would be Kermit.
