Love your transparency Rose. Thank you. (Also... the scenery on the I-15 corridor makes me home sick for that drive between LA and SLC. Would be curious for your thoughts on Zion's, and the Grand-Staircase from a van life perspective, if either are ever part of your journey.) Keep up the great videos, stay safe, and be happy!
Like others before me, I would enjoy a rental property video. I am an estate planning attorney in the San Francisco Bay Area. I advise my clients with rental properties to put them in an LLC, then put the LLC into their trust. Putting rental properties in the trust ensures that they will be managed if you become incapacitated and will go to who you specify if you should die. But putting them in an LLC insulates your other trust properties from any liability that may arise in the rental property.
I saved more money living in my car for about a year. It was challenging at times but I am thankful and bless for all the hard times throughout that journey. I learned how to manage my money and time.
Hey Rose , You omitted or overlooked one item about living in a VAN - "Cabin Fever". Van life is not for me, it's really requies a lot of discipline for the few & brave. Neverless, it's always interesting to hear from you. Take care & stay safe.
Damn Rose! You keep it 100!!! As a man I never realized how much it cost for a woman just to keep a healthy hygiene and how much it cost for beautification. Next time my wife comes home looking smoking hot I’m definitely going to thank her and give her a big kiss and hug! If you ever get to the San Diego area try a Japanese restaurant called Menya. Took my wife out for date night last night and it was THE BEST RAMEN I have ever eaten! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed😊
I admire this lifestyle greatly. Thanks for sharing with us. It’s proven that happiness is much easier achieved by simplifying things as much as possible.
Rose I love seeing a finance woman living free spirited life! I’m in a process of moving into a car life hopefully in the spring 🌸 I was curious how much do you pay for the car registration? I recently learned the fee depends on the year and weight of the vehicle - which yours sound would be somewhat expensive? I’ve also learned if you’re a business owner, driving a “heavy” vehicle gives a tax break. A random Q but seemed like you’d be a perfect person to ask! Thx❤
Really, your life seems like an amazing adventure. However, I hope you don't over do it because traveling alone in a van is dangerous. I mean, parking on lots at night or in a solitary area is a vulnerable state of existence. I bet your family is concern about your safety. Rose, just be careful.
Rose wish you nothing but the best. Thanks for the break-down and being honest with your budget. Keep up the great work. You going to do a upgrade budget when you move to Mexico? It would be great to see the differeance...Keep doing you.
Hi Rose 🌹👋🏾! Always great to see your videos. This was a great topic because once again, you’ve covered expenses I wouldn’t of thought about while on the road from pet food to miscellaneous items. I would love to see a video of your favorite travel/RV items. I am particularly interested in the pan that you’ve used to reheat your food - I would like one of my own! 😂 Stay warm and safe as always! ✌🏾
As someone who has been very adventurous and traveled a lot, watching your videos gives me chills, to be honest. Because I lost myself living in a city instead and not following my true calling and having a more exciting and adventurous life. You bring a lot of inspiration, positivity, and a unique perspective on life. Thank you for creating these videos and sharing them with us :) Wish you all the best.
Damn don't camp in people's residential neighborhoods. That's a burden on the community no one wants illegal campers on their streets. Find a proper camp ground and pay the fees...
Not sure I understand this. So why would someone who’s apparently a multimillionaire live in a van. Then buys a condo but in Mexico…. Like how are we supposed to take these RUclipsrs seriously……….. they sound broke.
I was curious about this, it was interesting to see a cost break down. I really like the way your van was constructed it's like a luxury studio apartment. Seeing Jupiter made me happy, I lost my dog a couple days ago.
Make sure you do NOT brush your teeth within 60 min of drinking that lemon water. It's a very acidic drink that makes tooth enamel very soft right afterwards. If you brush your teeth too soon, say bye bye to the enamel. You'll never get it back. I would ditch the lemon and just drink water.
Can you please do a long video on what you cook and what you eat to lose weight and costs, this is so hard for me as I am not a huge cook, but trying to eat healthy without having to spend a huge amount of time in the kitchen, would also love good exercise program see results, but not spending 3 hrs at a gym. I am 52 and trying to learn everything you know at your 20s and 30s, things i have never been taught from money to just making and enjoying life. I am basically backwards from alot of people, I raised my girls now trying to build a life and future for myself. Thank you so much for your help and videos. Sending all my prayers and bleasings to you. Love from Washington State
For someone whos into finance im surprised you are so afraid of debt… how much more could you invest and earn without paying lump sums of cash on assets or liabilities depending on how you look at it. Secondly, its a cash flow deterrence ,no? At the end of the day, more free cash flow is better then tying up your liquidity into assets, right? Entrepreneurial perspective; curious to hear your thoughts. 💭
Wait, why are you on birth control if you don’t have partner, sis? Unless you do? I’m very new to your channel like… just earlier today lol so I am curious as I’m not a fan of birth control at all due to my passion for Nature of the Human body.
I used to buy them same Starbucks packets. Then I found these tin cans that come in a pack of 3 that are basically the same stuff just in "bulk". They're waaaaay cheaper and you can make the coffee stronger if you so desire. I recommend the tin cans! Also, I think you made a mistake in saying there are 54 weeks in a year.
That was a vantastic entertaining video. A one bedroom apartment in San Francisco runs north of 3000. Factor in utilities, etc. etc. and you live paycheck to paycheck.
Hi Rose . I heard you say your yearly expenses were divided by 54 weeks. I think you misspoke theirs 52 weeks in a year. Do I think your total weekly ex I rnses are $130.77. . I could missed something.
Hi, great video again. I really interested in the trust that you mentioned for your rental property. Is that any chance you can make a video about that. The trust pro and cons.
You mention that you don’t have any debt, so are the three rental properties fully paid for - no mortgages? If so you are doing VERY well and don’t need to waste $74 a month on pet insurance. If Jupi got sick you could easily afford the bill IMO.
I want to live in a van and travel! You just inspired me. I got a property in Jalisco Mex and Chgo Now I need to find the van 🧐 Then you can come visit me Rose 🙏🏽
I've been watching vids about the costs of living like this for a while. I want to travel the US so badly. The price tag is too much though. I live in a large 1800sq foot condo with a 2 car garage just north of Atlanta with a pool and gym for less than 770 a month mortgage that includes taxes and insurance. My HOA dues are a little high at almost 300 per month. I spend about 1k a month on food, utilities etc. I keep telling myself it's just too expensive to leave. Now I'm starting to wonder if I should turn my home into an air bnb and buy a van because I want to get out there so badly
I’ve been looking at van life builders. Curious about the company that built yours in Colorado. Video idea, maybe? What to look for in van life builder companies. Truly admire your knowledge and action. Stay safe!
Thanks for the detailed, transparent video of a week in your van life! If you like plantain chips, you might like the plantain crisps from Trader Joe's. I can't go back to regular plantain chips after trying them.
I would love to know how to make kimchi stew! It looks pretty easy and tasty! I also eat pho. Do you ever make that also? My lifestyle is more like yours than I've seen in other channels, so it's good to see the budget from your perspective. You have a lot of expenses that I don't have, but as for the balance of healthy food & restaurants, I would be about the same as your budget. Also, I appreciate that you go to Wework.... I needed to work on my last trip and Wework would have been a great solution. Coincidentally, my last trip was to Las Vegas from California, thru Utah and into Colorado! So my gas expenses would have been similar. I plan to go full time at some point, so the occasional hair appointment might be a great idea, especially in colder weather, since I also have long hair. In conclusion, I learned some new ideas and got to see some of my food choices reflected in your experience!
I'd note you also have a $100K+ van. That's the value of a low-end house in some areas ... and for some people it's possible to pay cash for a house and not have a mortgage. So shouldn't you normalize for the mortgage / van loan, or lack of it?
Hey Rose, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make highly engaging shorts out of them.
If you want to step up your coffee, you can get single cup pour over "coffee maker." they tend to be about the size of a coffee cup. You will need a way to heat the water, but you already have that. The coffee maker I have (Kalita) does use filters, but they don't take up too much space. There is one from OXO that has a water reservoir you don't have to stand around pouring more water into the maker until you have the amount of coffee you. I might buy one for when I go into the office, but I don't go into the office too often and don't usually want coffee when I'm there, which is why I haven't bought it...yet. Plus, I tend to want a cold drink, so the convenience of Starbucks making it is a major factor. Luckily, I don't want it too often. At least I will walk to get it because it only takes 7 minutes to get there from my desk, but a little longer to get back. Walking up three flights of stairs just takes a little longer than going down, but at least I burn a few calories.
here is the ultimate truth/final conclusion. If she loved living in a van so much, or it was such a good thing, she wouldn't be buying a condo & moving out of the van. The van was an experiment, and ultimately a failed one at that. The costs savings come with an inconvenience expense that Rose was ultimately NOT ok with long term.
Rose is a young adventurous woman on the right path. Buying a condo is a smart move everyone needs a home base. She's smartly investing for her future.
Hope you guys found this entertaining :) Should I do a "What I Spend In A Week Living in Mexico City" video soon too??
please!
Yes!! I'm interested in the cost of living Mexico city.
1/2 of an organic lemon every morning is it best investment for your health Rose that you could ever Make…..congratulations
😎😎😎😎😎😍😍
Yes please, still wanna get outta the US and need some encouragement! Well, a little encouragement, -20 tonight in NY, woot!! I'm an equator kid!
Yeah that would be cool!
Love your transparency Rose. Thank you. (Also... the scenery on the I-15 corridor makes me home sick for that drive between LA and SLC. Great info as always especially when it comes to trust and when to set it up.
Love your updates.
I enjoyed this video, especially the openness about female hygiene products.
Lemon water without honey or brown sugar? You wild!
Hi Rose,
What would be a good platform to start stock investments?
Do you still offer your options trading course ?
yes! just go to rosehan.com/optionstrading to check it out!
yes! just go to rosehan.com/optionstrading to check it out!
"Birth control much cheaper than having a baby". Yep your right. I got kids and 2 baby mommas lol. Seems nice living in a van to save money.

No kids, no spouse, no mortgage. Love it! Makes me question all my life choices.
How do you feel safe sleeping in a van? Don't you get scared?
My Daily diet in Vegas:
Morning: Water
2pm Lunch: Buffet
Night: Water
I truly need a mentor like you. It could really set me straight in life
I saved more money living in my car for about a year. It was challenging at times but I am thankful and bless for all the hard times throughout that journey. I learned how to manage my money and time.

Thanks for the breakdown! Would love to see a video about the process of purchasing rental properties. The cros and cons of being a landlord.
Great suggestion!
yes pls
Damn Rose! You keep it 100!!! As a man I never realized how much it cost for a woman just to keep a healthy hygiene and how much it cost for beautification. Next time my wife comes home looking smoking hot I’m definitely going to thank her and give her a big kiss and hug!

There might be tax deductions as this is considered Rose’s primary home.
Rose wish you nothing but the best. Thanks for the break-down and being honest with your budget. Keep up the great work. You going to do a upgrade budget when you move to Mexico? It would be great to see the differeance...Keep doing you.
Suggestion: consider committing to a copper IUD. Go with a non hormonal birth control method. I love love love it! Yes, also while using a cup. ☺️
Hi Rose 🌹👋🏾! Always great to see your videos.

Great content, Rose. $253 for health insurance is excellent. Please share the company? Stay safe and well.

It's a pleasure to watch! 🇧🇷
Love your content. I'm a numbers nerd. Divide $6800 by 52 weeks in a year not 54 and so it is $130.77 instead of $125.93
Do you Live in the Van or the Home? I’m confused 🧧🧸🍰🤲🏼🐾🍚
Hola Rose! Me encantan tus videos. Starlink is a good option for internet service, satellite (US and Mexico).
How much did your van cost? And what year and model? I was looking at this Mercedes model bc of its size, but it's a lot.
Damn don't camp in people's residential neighborhoods. That's a burden on the community no one wants illegal campers on their streets. Find a proper camp ground and pay the fees...

Don't bother with pet insurance. Just save money in an account for if you ever need a procedure!
Very interesting to see those prices. Damn, the US is expensive for groceries and hair colouring!
Your dog's cute!
All-in TSLA HODL'r for the last few years is how I've been rollin. Set it & forget it.
@10:01 people who double park are asking for trouble. You’re lucky no one keyed your van or worse.
I have tried nut pod, thick, and not much flavor. Did you like your flavor?
Wait, so when I buy my next home, I should put it under the name of my trust?
It’s always a great day when a Rose vlog hits RUclips!
I used to buy them same Starbucks packets. Then I found these tin cans that come in a pack of 3 that are basically the same stuff just in "bulk". They're waaaaay cheaper and you can make the coffee stronger if you so desire. I recommend the tin cans!

I agree cans are a better deal. I do carry packets in my backpack when traveling.
Whats up BRU..Hey I learned options by watching your video :) Thanks..Keep em coming
That was a vantastic entertaining video. A one bedroom apartment in San Francisco runs north of 3000. Factor in utilities, etc. etc. and you live paycheck to paycheck.
🙏❣️🔥 your smoothie is my daily my twinzy lol love your channel. I worked for the company where you shopped. Lol

why warm lemon juice, I drink it cold? I love your honesty and all the straightforward informative videos
Please do a video on forming a trust. 🙏
I admire you! I would be so scared to sleep by myself in an empty parking lot or even a full one lol
Please give us a sense of taxes, insurance, etc. that you accrue for. Thank you.
I dont really like meat, but that looked good.
Hi, great video again. I really interested in the trust that you mentioned for your rental property. Is that any chance you can make a video about that. The trust pro and cons.
Noted for a future video idea!
I have an unused instapot but boy, that meal looked yummy.. Anyone got a receipt and how to use the insta pot? 🙈🤤😍
here was the recipe :P
mykoreankitchen.com/instant-pot-short-ribs/
A bit curious living alone in a van but use birth control.
I love the wholefoods chip refund!
Rental property video please!
That had to be Viet Noodle Bar on Springdale ( ! ) .... been there many times 👍
Lol it was!
Loved this video! You still need good food and little luxuries on the road 🙂
Hi Rose, is it dangerous to live a van life by yourself?
You are amazing. God bless you today and always!
You really are amazing!
Thank you for posting! Hope your having an amazing day! Remember you have the #AbilityToBeAwesome!
No judgement here Rose
Wow! Great video. Very detailed and informative.
You are an inspiration
You're awesome!
Am the first one to view it .
Hi Rose, what's the name of that Vietnamese restaurant that you went to? ;)
Viet Noodle Bar 😋

A little off the subject did you have issues of renters unable to pay the rent during COVID and the pandemic?
great vid. i shared your link with my peeps in japan. i am sure they will enjoy your content.
stay strong/ stay safe
Thanks for the detailed, transparent video of a week in your van life!
If you like plantain chips, you might like the plantain crisps from Trader Joe's. I can't go back to regular plantain chips after trying them.
I love Jupiter! Btw, isn’t gas and any other expenses related to travel to rental properties tax deductible? That would be a plus.
Great and meaningful video Rose. Very unique and interesting lifestyle. I am just curious you don't put on any skincare or sun cream😃
I would love to know how to make kimchi stew! It looks pretty easy and tasty! I also eat pho. Do you ever make that also?

Could you do a video on all the lessons you learned so far and what you would do in chronological order of you had to start over? Pleaseeee
Ayo I saw your SoFi ad on my Facebook feed lol I see you hustling out there Rose!
Hey Rose, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make highly engaging shorts out of them.

Did the same for my rentals. Worth the Trust pathway. Also, do you need my full name for ur Trust beneficiary? 😅
Can't get anymore transparent about EVERY expense than this.. cool stuff.
Who is your van builder? Looks like a great van!
You go girl ❤️warm greetings from Chicago
Great vid-ty! Hoping to hear about the condo purchase.
here is the ultimate truth/final conclusion.
As always love your videos all the way from Australia 🇦🇺
