Wow. That sentence "action is what brings clarity, not just sitting down in a room and being in analysis paralysis" struck me. I always get stuck in analysis paralysis about what to focus on to achieve my goals of financial freedom. Now writing down my strengths and what value I can provide to others to help get me there. Needed to hear that. Thank you Rose!

I really enjoyed this video and feel empowered for the future! Thank you for sharing. Please consider interviewing your friends or gathering information from those who have kids (especially if they had kids while young) on how to stay the course while raising kids. Maybe the 6th thing you did to retire at 33 is to not have kids before 33 :) It's not so much the money it takes to be a parent, it's the time and mental+physical energy that is challenging in reaching some of my financial goals.

    Hi Rose!
I didnʻt even embrace the word "invest" until I was in my early mid 20s and that was after hearing my coworkers talk about it! Not something that was spoken in my family EVER. One of my coworkers encouraged me to start investing, but first to watch videos online about it before I asked her questions and your channel has been my favorite ever since I went on YT to find easy explanations about investing.
I thank you to this day about how my journey to financial freedom took off. I LOVE sharing your pointers and your video links to my fellow coworkers who are younger than me so they too can start early!

My Girl Rose is wise beyond her years; you knocked it out of the park with this vlog! So clearly explained, anyone who listens and follows your steps is set for life. You are in such a great position to impact younger people who are just starting out. I think that a great idea for you, the next time you feel moved to talk about investing, is to show how little one needs to save starting in their early to mid 20's versus waiting until their 30's or later due to the miracle of compounding. An explanation of the "Rule of 72" fits right in to that discussion and gives your followers an easy way to figure out the impact of different investments they may consider. Great job Rose! You have a gift.

Congratulations on your retirement at 33! I retired at 59 1/2. I was ready and had worked very hard for over 40 years. It is now 5 years later and I really enjoy my current lifestyle. I travel, I play golf, and I work hard at staying in shape. On occasion I reflect back at my long career and experiences. There were tons of life lessons experienced especially since I always held positions of high responsibility. I treasure those even if they weren't always fun at the time, lol! Definitely good advice! It doesn’t always work out though. I’m the same age as you and spent a lot of my 20s reading books about personal finance and entrepreneurship. I was fortunate enough to start off with no debt out of college, but I couldn’t find work that paid anything. I’ve always been extremely frugal because that’s just the way I am and despite that, I was living paycheck to paycheck and my business was getting crushed by the rapid increases in rent in the Seattle area. I ended up 100k in debt because I couldn’t ever pay for emergencies and I had some major ones. It’s only because of covid that I’ve been able to find work that pays enough for a budget to make any sense whatsoever and doing vanlife and carlife has given me enough room in my budget to actually pay off debt and enough time build a new business. I just think that you have to find a way to make an unusually large amount of money compared to your expenses for most financial advice to work. Also being lucky and not having emergencies for a while helps as well. One of these days I’ll get to the same place you are!

Thanks for sharing this, Rose! You’re an amazing person and we learn a ton from your videos!! 😄
Yesterday I followed one of your tangible examples of paying off your credit card as soon as you use it. I usually wait until month end to pay it, and I hate the huge payment!
Your example was super because now my credit card is totally paid off and I think it also helps to be more careful in not being wasteful with spending on stuff you don’t need!!
Also, I love the shrimp 🍤 🥗 salad cooking while you made the video. Thanks for inviting us into your life and through these beautiful videos!! 🤓Trophy

Greetings Rose... great video, thank you for your openness and knowledge drops! About the StrengthsFinder, I'm interested in checking it out but wanted to confirm that the specific "Top 5" report in the link you provided is the one that helped you out (It looks like there are a few different test options on the site itself). Thanks in advance -

It certainly took me longer than you. I did not retire until a little over a year ago at 70 however I cannot tell you how much I am enjoying waking up when I wake up and doing whatever I want to do. A couple of weeks ago I was driving up to watch the junior college baseball World Series. No I’m not a big baseball fan but fell in love with the spirit of one of the teams and tried to catch everyone of their games. So much fun. Yesterday drove downtown to a German beer garden for lunch. Congratulations on your retirement! I hope you stay as happy as you are!
