Tks for a good and informative video , i have 1 question about how you `` merry ´´ the power and the garmin together , is all the hardwere there and is strait forward when you find the power lead ?
I’m curious why you feel the navigation on the bike from the factory is garbage? I don’t particularly care for how the integration works on the standard navigation, but I’ve had good luck with mine. I’ve used mine all around the Pacific NW as well as a trip down to Baja and it worked great. I put the Zumo on my Desert x and it works great too. Thanks for the video. This is great.
Maybe it's just an S23 issue, but mine would disconnect just randomly. I didn't like trying to plan a trip on the sygic app after all these years of using Google. My biggest grip, though, is the ducati connect can't run in the background. It has to be up, and the screen has to be on. My phone would get pretty hot even when it's mounted on the handle bar. I also had weird audio issues, where the music would delay when the navigation would speak, and then play really fast till it caught up lol.
It’s HORRIBLE. I’ve had it actually stop working on me and freeze for 20 Or 30 miles and long missed my turns or exits. I hear Sygic is great in Europe but in the US it is very lacking and to have to pay for something that is no where as good as Waze is for free is just stupid
Yeah, evotech makes a solid product. The tune turned out to be a nightmare. I had to have Italy turn off that malfuntion light, and put the bike back to stock mapping. I still have the decat, though. Sounds wicked when open that throttle and go banging through the gear.
@@zainulahmed7542 was it the official upmap from Ducati that was giving issues or a 3rd party like Bren tune? Which decat did you get? How does it run without the tune any surging flat spots
@lennykibbs260 No, it was tuned on a dyno using the woolich program. When ducati fixed the malfunction light, they said the BCM could tell it wasn't factory mapping, which was what was causing the malfunction light. After they completely reflashed the bike, it ran like dog turds for a bit with the decat. Took a couple hundred miles to figure itself out, and it runs great now. Just did a 1500-mile trip with 0 issues. I did the QD-decat. Highly recommend it.
@@zainulahmed7542 Thanks for that info...ok couple of hundred miles for re-learn not too horrible. I hear good things about QD- but I think I'm gonna go Ebay knock off for now purely for sound, honestly this thing is pathetic with the cat on- but will eventually go the legit route with the Akro/Duc map- just have to recover a little from the bike purchase hit..funny how they hold you hostage on these modern bikes, back in the day was just a link pipe and a local tune and done
Thank you so much for showing which way to wire the two pin clip connectors.
Nice! I've been looking for something to mount my zumo xt.
Great job with the video! I'll be getting the same setup..
Thanks for the video, I'm looking at doing this to my rally 😊 have a good day 👍
I want a rally so badly, lol.
@@zainulahmed7542 I've only had it a few days, so getting use to it, former bike is a xr1000 and it's so much nicer to ride 🙂
@Jaybrummie Congrats, brother.

Yeah it's super easy. Just dig behind the plastic for the wire labeled navigation and connect it to the power wire on the navi.

Tks 😀
Could you give me the code model of the support you ordered to Evotech? I don’t wanna be wrong with the order if it’s possible. Thanks.

Helpful; thanks!
Just got finished mounting mine with the same Evotech mount and it all worked like a charm! Greatly appreciate you taking the time to film this.

Hi can I ask if you can still easily access the screen lifting please
Yup, no issues there.
I purchased a different bracket, Think I like the Evotech better...hows the tune that you did, did you also do a de-cat

It’s a shame that this has to exist after paying the cost of this bike
Especially since android auto and whatever Apple uses has gotten so good.
